Fantasy Gehenna

Kaname

Kaname sat there, unable to really move. Suddenly, something weird happened. She could... she didn't even know what was going on. All she could tell was that there were these odd things present, completely alien to her. She blinked, seeing nothing for a split second before everything returned to her. She slowly took the blindfold back, wanting to at least hold on to it, since it was the only thing she'd been given by somebody, instead of taken away. It basically represented the one part of her that was unique; her blindness. Right now though, she got the feeling she'd lost that uniqueness, though not knowing what it meant to be able to see, it felt like something was wrong; she didn't know exactly what this was that was there.

"What are... all these things..." She mouthed, still without her words. Kaname, starting to get extremely confused, lowered the bandages on her right eye back down, then started placing the blindfold back on to go back to the usual "sight" of nothing. It seemed a little different in some way though. "I don't understand what's happening..." She mouthed her words like just a moment ago, just wanting to know what exactly that was. It was very odd, so all she could do was rely on her 'blindness' and blindfold to help her through it, like it actually did a few times in the past. That's when, a tree started falling. She could tell by the sound, but oddly enough, her sight also helped her out. She felt the urge to jump out of the way of whatever it was that was moving that she wasn't aware was her seeing something, but she just couldn't get herself to move.

Haruka & Yoru

Haruka felt weird, but the same. It felt like something was different, but at the same time, nothing had changed. Her hair turned a little more towards purple, but that wasn't really what she paid attention to. It felt... painful, but not painful. It was almost like another being was being put in her body, and no matter how much she hated the idea of becoming one with anybody but Yoru, she didn't hate what was happening right now. She remained psychotic, but at the same time, wasn't psychotic in the least because of this new 'soul'.

It was like some kind of odd set of desires and feelings that ware completely alien to her; they were desires and feelings that weren't her own, directed at the same person, but at the same time, somebody completely different; Yoru. Yoru was actually in slight pain himself. His hair was turning even whiter than it already was; how it was possible with how white Yoru's hair already was, nobody would really know. He had these odd desires and feelings being put into him that he couldn't understand the least.

Both of them slowly started to become more perfect in their body. Haruka slowly became more beautiful, while Yoru became more handsome. They started looking healthier than usual, though they were already quite healthy already. Haruka's left eye didn't really heal itself or anything though, as the eye itself was pretty much 'dead'. She still had the actual eye, but it was just plain blind and useless. Even if the eye itself could still move around and still was red like her right eye, she still decided not to expose the eye to what initially destroyed its vision; light.

Yoru was blushing slightly as his eyes watched Haruka, though his head was a complete mess. He couldn't comprehend these overwhelming urges and emotions that he wasn't anywhere near familiar with. Before he could react, his thoughts were cut off by Haruka, who was still holding her ax, throwing her arms over hi shoulders and practically hugging him, but keeping the sharp edge of the ax away from him. His face lit up completely red, but for some reason, he just couldn't bring himself to get out of the hug like he usually would.

(Did I do a good job with the changes? If not, I'll gladly edit and all that @The Master)

Hachi's ears twitched, her head snapping around at the sound of a tree breaking and falling. It's target seemed to the small blind child. Growling, she felt her legs tense the beast in her jumping forth. She felt much stronger than before, we blood rushing through her veins. Her red flared scarlet as she kicked of the ground darting across the space in moments.

Kicking of the ground she spun, snapping a powerful kick at the tree, expecting only to knock it off course. Bit she underestimated the Deere to which her own power had grown. Silver fur covered her legs from just below her knee down, her feet taking on the form of a wolves. The kick shattered the tree, causing it to explode in a shower of shards. Landing just in grin of the girl Hachi's hands flashed swiftly through a set of intricate mudra. Taking a deep breath she began to move. Her speed was almost impossible to track as she began knocking aside large pieces of wood keeping them away from both herself and the girl.

This power was truly amazing. Her heart pumped rapidly as a wolfish grin curved her lips. Knocking aside the last shard of wood she exhaled lowering her hands to her side. Reverting back to normal she stepped away.

Kaname just laid there in the snow, slightly curled up and shaking. All she knew that was going on was a lot of smashing, as she still didn't know anything about her eyes and what all of this stuff was that... she didn't even know a word for, since she wasn't aware she was seeing things. Her eyes were still closed, though that was natural, given she'd been used to her eyes being closed under the blindfold. She slowly put the blindfold back over her eyes and tied it, but only after calming down enough to put it on out of nervousness. She was completely scared right now, and was unsure what was going on at all, so all she could do was keep laying there and shaking from the fear, even after putting on the blindfold.

Something shifted in Rhialla and she stepped towards the girl and other woman who was smashing the tree to pieces, she held out her palm and let her anger focus on it a flame erupting as if from nothing. Rhialla blinked, it wasn't like her normal fire it had a red center not just slightly tinged as it usually was... Rhia ignored it for the moment and began to hurl it at some of the larger pieces that might escape the wolf girl's reach. The wood caught and burned so quickly that they almost disintegrated upon catching alight. She did this for several other pieces although the other wolf girl seemingly had it under control and Rhialla made her way to the frightened little girl. "Are you alright sweetheart?" She asked as she knelt down, the snow beginning to melt where her skin touched it. She took a deep breath and pushed her anger away, trying to cool herself down. Tentatively she reached out to the girl and touched her shoulder, inspecting her for any visible wounds. Again Rhialla felt something, it was almost as if she felt compelled to take care of the girl, it was a feeling she was very unfamiliar with and it almost made her uncomfortable and yet acting on it felt right in some ways.

As the tree was destroyed its pieces were hit away from the blind girl. Despite everyone's best efforts, a piece that they missed impaled itself into Kaname's right arm. The piece seemed to come out of no where and it went completely through her arm. It remained stuck into her arm, leaving a mess.

THE DICE WERE ROLLED AND LANDED ON 12. MAX DAMAGE DELIVERED WITHOUT DEATH.

Gideon turned away quickly, covering Jazmyne's eyes from what had just happened. Gideon was blind, but his powers allowed him to just KNOW what was happening. He knew that Kane was well aware of what was going on, and they needed to get moving. "Tend to her wounds, we need to start moving NOW." Gideon spoke, he began to trudge forward with Jazmyne up the mountain. The journey to Gehenna began now. And it was being made by the most unstable beings to ever exist.

Kaname seemed to tense up significantly when Rhialla put a hand on the her shoulder. Kaname, after all the happenings today, was even more scared of other people touching her and all that than she was just a little bit ago when she was in them middle of being used for another "holy" ritual. "D-don't touch me." She mouthed, though still without any words actually coming out. If somebody was able to read lips well, even without the sound of hesitation and fear in her voice, the way she was would let them know that she said it out of fear, not anything but fear driving her to try and say that.

Just then, a piece of wood suddenly flew right into her arm; her body jerked as she even went through the motions of a painful scream, but like all her words, they were lost to silence. There were definitely tears coming from under the blindfold, her laying flat on her back and trying to stand the pain. She was used to pain enough for it to not sent her unconscious or anything, but that just made things worse, since she stayed awake to the pain, feeling like she was dying or something. She couldn't move, and there was quite a bit of blood.

Otoko was looking at the blindfolded girl when the piece of wood hit her. He winced when the wood lodged into her arm. The disdain melted away, even if he didn't know why it was there in the first place. He rushed over to the girls side even as she let lose with a painful scream, pulling out the piece of wood as gently as he could. This "adventure" was all ready proving to be deadly, even by accident.

Kaname mouthed words to Rhialla but she could barely understand them, she wasn't the best at reading lips. But before she had any time to try and understand what the girl was trying to say a chunk of wood came flying out of nowhere. Before Rhialla could react it sunk itself into the little girl's arm and she seemed to scream silently as she fell backwards. Rhialla sat still for several moments until Gideon spoke and she snatched the piece of cloth she'd discarded. She tore it into several smaller strips and moved towards Kaname. Someone else stepped over to remove the piece of wood and immediately Rhialla bandaged it as best she could. It would have to do for now. "Can you move?" She asked softly.

Jazmyne was frightened and looked at everyone in fear. "What happen? What happen?" She spoke, almost at the edge of tears. She started crying from fear and buried her head into Gideon.

"I get it... This pain... those weird things. Why must you always subject me to these...?" She mouthed, still some tears going down her face from below her blindfold. She was scared; all she knew though, was that she would have to put up with it, as no matter how hard she'd tried before, she could never do anything to get them to stop with all those painful rituals. She was starting to get the feeling she wasn't being subject to another one of their 'rituals' by the things she was hearing and all of that, but the feeling was so little, she just didn't even recognize it was there.

Rin said nothing. She was simply blinking at the disaster before her eyes, before carelessly shifting her gaze towards Gideon. With a slight blow of her breath, Rin brushed off her clothing, shifting her blue eyed gaze skyward. No more snow was falling, which sparked disappointment within her now half childish state of mind. This feeling, however , was now blinded by the newfound feelings developed just seconds after the spark of power in her form. She had observed the blood trickling down from Kaname's arm, which basically sparked a small hint of excitement. Although she had nothing at all to speak for, Rin do so anyway. "Castle time?" Although her mentality and matureness had changed, Rin still held a small grip of her childish manner of speech.

Hachi shook her head folding her arms beneath her bust as she glanced at the two people tending to the wounded girl. At a time like this she supposed it would be appropriate to feel sympathy for the poor child. But she felt no such emotion. In fact she seemed rather bored by the incident. The girl was already being taken care of and she didn't seem to be mortally wounded.

Her tail lashed the air as her gaze landed on the bloodstained snow. Almost as if mesmerized she held her hand out towards the crimson liquid. It was as if she could feel its energy. At once that sharp desire to cause harm to someone or something swept over her once again. Clutching her fist at her side she moved away, approaching Gideon.

She breathed slowly, slowing her heart rate and clearing her mind. She was in control at all times, she had to be. Crossing her arms she glanced expectantly at the man and then back up the mountain.

Otoko looked at the bleeding girl mouthing words. He wondered what she thought they were going to do to her. Not that it mattered either way, they needed to get going. He cradled the girl being careful not to further injure her arm. He felt a small bit of ire, helping someone that would slow him down. It passed almost the instant it passed through his mind, and he turned towards the girl who bandaged her arm. She seemed familar.... "I'll hold her for now. I guess she would thank you if she would talk...". With that he turned, and started walking towards Gideon.

Rhia was still having trouble understanding Kaname, she could make out a few words such as pain and things but not much else. She seemed very timid and Rhialla didn't want to scare the girl but they needed to get moving, that tree didn't simply fall. The other person, a boy picked her up and spoke, when he did Rhialla felt like...she knew him. But he was human, she knew very few of them. "She needs more treatment but there's not much we can do out here, we just need to get moving." She told him as he walked to Gideon, she followed quickly behind him. "Rhialla." She said when she caught up, "My name's Rhialla, yours?" Maybe if she knew his name she'd remember....he still felt familiar and she couldn't shake the feeling.

Otoko looked at Rhialla, and grinned. "My name is Otoko.". Otoko looked more closely at the girl. She looked attractive enough, yet he didn't remember ever seeing her before. Maybe she was a idol or something. "Do I know you from somewhere? I feel like I do, but I know that I don't." He looked questioningly at Rhialla, hoping she knew why he felt this way.

Rhialla blinked at Otoko, he felt the same way? "No...no we've never met before but I agree, you seem so familiar." Absentmindedly Rhia touched her soulstone as she thought, whatever Gideon had done to them had changed everyone, Rhialla's skills with fire had improved dramatically and now she could even create it out of nothing. But was this feeling a side effect of the change? "What has he done to us?" She mumbled to herself and sighed, following Otoko and Gideon.

Gideon stopped "Is EVERYONE with us?" He asked, a hint of aggression in his voice. Gideon was not going to let anyone get left behind, not in Gehenna. Being left for dead for Kane to play and toy with was the worst thing that could happen to anyone, hands down. He spoke softly to Jazmyne, "Someone got hurt really badly. The man in the castle we are heading towards hurt one of the people." He hugged her closer. Gideon stood in place, waiting for EVERYONE to catch up before continuing.

Kaname's body slowly relaxed as the girl began falling asleep. Because of the fast motion she'd had when the piece of wood hit her arm, the blindfold was mostly off of her left eye, though remained on her right. The bandages on her head didn't cover the left eye, but they did cover most of her forehead, and clearly went over her right from the bandaging sticking out below the right eye's part of the blindfold. If it weren't for the bandaging over her forehead and right eye, the wound of her right arm, and the dried tears on her face, one would think she was sleeping peacefully.

Yoru, still with Haruka on his back hugging him, walked over to where Gideon was, holding Haruka's legs up and pretty much giving her a piggyback ride. The two seemed a little more peaceful than they were before, back when Yoru shot a bullet in the air and when Haruka chased Yoru with an ax and killing intent. "Yeah, yeah.. We're here, so quit your damn yellin'." Yoru stated, a little more than pissed that the guy had to be angry at them, when he had no right to actually expect them to do as he commanded, since they didn't even know who the hell he was.

Rin groaned. She was ready to go forward, and waiting on the others seemed like a pain. She hated waiting, both halves of her new self did. Rolling her irises, Rin stepped forward, keeping herself hidden from the sight of those standing in front of her. She was paid no mind, which would make things easier for her. She was still upset about the fact of having a shot fired into the air due to herself having fun. It wasn't her fault they were older than herself. Scowling and muttering to herself, Rin folded her arms over her bird chest, continuing to sulk whilst she waited for them all to move out.

Gideon turned, glaring at Yoru. He grabbed onto the kid and lifted him up with a single hand like nothing. Gideon made sure not to have the girl fall off him though. "I have given you all the means to survive this place. I already told you all my name is Gideon. If you want story time then go ahead and do it once we make camp. Now go help the blindfolded one." Gideon dropped the boy and pointed.

"What do you expect us to do?" Yoru asked, the question partially directed at Haruka, who went ahead and answered. "Well, we could always kill her to end the pain, but any help without killing would just be more pain that, in the end, wouldn't matter, since she's already probably going to live. Wounds that do and don't kill are things I know very well, having killed thousands of people before." Haruka's voice was accompanied by a lightly psychotic tone, with her giggling a little afterwards, same psychotic feel to it as her voice.

Rhialla was shocked at the two teenagers, one spoke so freely about death and even admitted to murder! When the girl mentioned killing Kaname she immediately stepped closer to Otoko, they weren't laying a hand on a child. But as she studied the two they seemed just as familiar, if not more than Otoko. "Nobody's killing anyone on my watch." She glared at them, her eyes hard as she warned the two and she felt the anger from before bubble to the surface, her hair seemed to almost move on it's own and if someone looked hard enough they could see flames flicking off the ends. She crossed her arms and waited for their response, she was ready if anything was going to happen with these psychotic kids. She wouldn't kill them but she would find a way to restrain them, hopefully.

"We never did say we would kill her, did we? All we did was say that all we could really do to help would be to kill her so she no longer feels the pain, so you idiots would know there's no way in hell we'd be able to; not that we would even want to be able to; help her at all." Yoru said. Unlike earlier when he ran from the crazy girl with the ax, he didn't mind the fact she was on his back, even with her still holding the ax in her right hand, able to kill him in an instant if she wanted to. "Aw, no killing...? Okay Yoru, but only because you said we wouldn't."

Rhialla was visibly relieved and she sighed deeply, she wouldn't take them for their word considering they were pretty much insane but for now it looked like they wouldn't do anything, she would still have to remain guarded though. "Alright who else are we waiting for then?" She asked, still hovering near Kaname and Otoko protectively, both were just kids and even though she'd begun to ignore any feelings of familiarity she felt she couldn't help the instinct that had kicked in since Gideon had changed her. She knew there were more people here that probably needed help also but she felt the most pressing matter was the blindfolded girl, besides, Gideon seemed quite capable at handling one of them and the other...."Wait, where'd the other kid go? She was right here a second ago..."

Rin stood in absolute silence. He gaze was fixated upon the white snow beneath her feet, all well until killing was meantioned. This bought both curiosity and excitement to Rin's mind and soul. Tilting her head to the side, Rin skipped over to the group, peering at all of them. She wanted to butt in, but simply remained quiet, with a somewhat devilish smile playing at her thin, small lips. Not that she didn't care to speak, simply that she found no reason to do so as of yet, seeing it to be a waste of her breath.
