Fantasy Gehenna

"There are two passes, each one leads to the castle that is a one day hike from here. Since there is no way to leave at this point, you can only venture forward. The man who brought you here is my nephew, his name is Kane and he is the king of Gehenna. He will try to torment and mess with you all, using your weaknesses against you and eventually kill you. Do you all wish to continue as you are and take your chances, or listen to my offer?" Gideon spoke calmly the entire time. He was still holding onto the littlest of the bunch. Gideon looked them all over.

Otoko was starting to respond to Izazya, when he felt himself being forced into silence. He started panicking slightly when the man who did this started speaking. He spoke about two passes. Why didn't they all just go in a group? The he glanced at the insane duo, and realized he would be best off going on the path they didn't take. Either way, he would find out what was this "offer " the man was talking about. Otoko raised hoping to ask the question.

Standing taller Rhialla weighed her options, slowly she pointed at Gideon, she hoped he wasn't lying. At this point she had to trust him and considering that everyone else around her had no idea what was going on other than him it was he she would follow. Her temperature was still a little too low but she was slightly warmer, although she was frustrated that the connection with her stones, other than her soulstone had almost been completely severed.

'Hm...' Izazya wasn't much of a strategist in the least... he usually just jumped into things head first, but now was NOT the best time to do that... he looked at Otoko as if asking with his eyes 'what do we do...?'. Going on their own seemed dangerous... But Izazya didn't exactly trust the man either. He felt as though he's end up dying quickly no matter what path they chose, especially if the gun and ax couple were coming along.

Kaname slowly moved her head around, trying to find out where the voice was coming from. Of course, being blind it wouldn't help all too much to look at the source of the voice, but she still wanted to know where it was from. Yoru was watching the blind girl, but soon found himself stopping and turning his head back to Haruka when he felt an aura of jealousy, hatred, and evil directed at him, coming from Haruka herself. He decided to sit still and not look at anybody while Haruka was still around, afraid of what she'd do if he kept looking around.

"Gehenna used to be inhabited by members of The Family. These people had powers that made them unmatched in combat. They have all passed away, but I was able to collect their energy. Now, as for my offer. I am going to bestow upon you their legendary powers. The downside of it though. You will all physically change a little. You will also obtain the habits of said members of The Family, only a bit of their habits though. I will give the powers by random because of their instability. What do you all think?" Gideon asked finally. He wanted to help them all out to the best of his ability, even if that meant basically reincarnating the most unstable people to ever exist.

Otoko grinned at Izazya, trying to reassure him. He didn't actually feel so confident about this to be honest. He would try his best to survive and help others, to the best of his ability. When the man started talking about powers, his smile lessened a bit. He didn't like the prospect of changing his body. He still wanted to go home to his family, and if he did he didn't want to look different. He would do what he needed to survive though, no matter what it took.

Rhialla wanted to ask if they were human, she figured they weren't if they had powers but she didn't want to be imbued with something that made her human. But neither was she ready to die either and so rather reluctantly she stepped forward, her hands were curled into fists and she bit her lip. This could, would change her, was it for better or worse?

Hachi sighed canting her head to one side she brought her hands up and began to preform an array of mudra. Finally she released her chi, using a technique meant to control her body. Regaining the ability to talk she rested her hands on her lap.

"Alright..."

Wasn't "incredible power" something that typically drove people to madness...? And... the physical appearance... Though it wasn't exactly a priority for him, Izazya wasn't sure if the right side of his body would change as it wasn't exactly his own flesh and blood. Though powers did sound cool, there's always some sort of price. Their appearance, possibly the sane one's sanity...

"What do you think, Otoko...? It could be helpful... but..."

Rin sat silently, being intimidated by the man holding the smaller child. Crossing her small legs whilst she sat, Rin constantly rocked her head from side to side. She decided it be best to allow the adults to examine the situation, even if her father did teach her how to do so. Humming to herself, Rin couldn't help but smile whilst the snowy wind blew through her pigtails, watching her black curled end strands dangle over her shoulders. Her fun had been spoiled by the shooting of a gun from a crazed maniac, and yelling from the young mister Gideon. Taking a moment to pout, Rin slowly found her curious gaze dazzled by the sight of a seemingly blind child of which, judging by the looks of it, was around her age. Slowly, Rin brought herself to her hands and knees and crawled over to the girl, whispering once she reached her. "Boo!" Giggling, Rin sat back down beside the girl, carefully tilting her head whilst she studied her. "You look funny."

The blind girl slowly buried her face in her knees. She just couldn't help but feel that somebody was trying to trick her, so they could make her suffer just as bad, if not worse, than she did during all of those rituals she's been put through. All the pain from that previous ritual was coming back to her, and she couldn't help but have two lines of tears form on her face; one from each eye. She kept her head buried in her knees though, being at least familiar with the fact that if she didn't, everybody else would see her cry, though she didn't know what anything 'looked' like because of her blindness.

When another girl came up next to her and whispered "Boo!" in her ear, she was extremely scared. Not only was the simple fact of somebody talking to her or being near her scary in her mind, it was somebody right up to her and making a noise in her ear. Still scared, she slowly lifted her head, "looking" over slowly in the direction of the voice. It was clear as day that there was a line of tears from each eye, though the blindfold made it impossible to see those eyes. She moved her mouth to say something, but after so long of those "holy" rituals, couldn't make the words. Clearly though, they were the words of a scared person, but not so clear, was that these were her exact words she tried to make; "P-please... no more... I-I can't... take these rituals..."

Rin took a moment to observe the girls reaction. A pout had been formed at her lips, only to be transformed into that of a soothing smile, not that the girl could see it. Slowly and carefully, Rin hugged the girl with her own small, short arms, carefully resting her head on the girls shoulder. The tears gave Rin all the information that she needed. The girl was alone, afraid, and traumatic. In a softer tone of voice, sounding more like a six year old as she spoke, Rin began to do her best to calm the girl. "Don't worry. I no hurt you. I's only helps you." Giggling quietly, Rin kept her attention on the girl she was hugging , rather than anything Mister Gideon had to say.

At first, Kaname remained quite scared. In fact, it's more like she stayed scared the entire time. All she had to go by was past experience, and that experience told her that when somebody touched her, she was going to be taken to the next ritual and suffer from it horribly. She knew not to resist though, or she'd suffer even more. At least, that's how it worked in that place she'd lived in for three years. Words were things she couldn't trust very well. Her own words were an already broken tool that she'd lost. Even if broken though, her words were a tool that, deep down, she wanted to find once more, as they were all she'd really had of her own until she lost them.

Gideon sighed and mumbled "Well, you can't pick them all..." He put his hand onto Jazmyne's head and a power began to enter the child. Gideon had bestowed upon her the soul of someone who used to be a member of The Family. Gideon snapped his fingers, causing everyone to become silent and back in their place. He held out his hand and the souls of the remaining Family members flew into each person at random. Once the process was finished he put his hand down and the little girl. "You all have powers now. I will help direct you all up the mountain, but the castle will be an adventure you take on your own." Gideon spoke. He kneeled down in front of the blind girl, "You'll need this." Gideon put his hand on the side of her face gently. He removed her blindfold and stared into her blind eyes. Gideon's eyes became a beautiful golden color as he gave his sight to the girl. Gideon's gold iris' became a whitish grey color once he was done. The girl's iris' were now a golden color, they shone brightly and beautifully. Gideon stood up straight and snapped his fingers again, removing all the restraints on them. "You all need to become more mature otherwise Veril will kill you and toss your body to the side." Gideon spoke just those words before putting the wraps back around his face. He walked over and picked up the little girl who was the host of a part of Skittles' soul. "Shall we?" He asked her, ready to hike up the mountain.

Rhialla staggered backwards as her soulstone began to burn her skin. She was consumed by heat and she grit her teeth, throwing away the cloth the man had given her, she fell to her knees in the snow, hoping, for the first time in her life, to get cooler. All the stones scattered around her neck and cheek began to glow a bright red and Rhialla could feel herself changing considerably. Her bust size increased a few sizes and her derriere became rounder and fuller, her waist slightly thinner and lips fuller. Her red hair was silky smooth and her once steely blue eyes now seemed to almost glow with a blue, fiery light. Slowly she stood, her head throbbed dully and she looked around confused. She could barely remember who was around her, no she'd never met them before at all. There were at least three children, one on an extremely tall man's shoulders and the other two were hugging one another. Well it was more like one was hugging the other. Some of them felt familiar somehow but Rhia couldn't place it, her head was swimming and she still felt more than a little warm but it was bearable. She wanted to reach out to the children, something instinctually kicked in, something Rhialla had never felt before.

Rin was prepared to comfort and reassure the blind girl, but was only interrupted by being snapped back into the place she had sat only minutes before. Pouting, Rin was prepared to argue, but once she tried, she was silenced. Blinking, Rin tilted her head, only to have something, or rather someone connect with her own body. Frozen, Rin sat in absolute silence, eyes widened and lips shut tight. Eventually, she finally blinked, immediately shifting her gaze to graze over her hands. Tilting her head to the side, Rin took a moment to look up towards the others, before directing her gaze towards Mister Gideon. Rin was prepared to speak, but rather, didn't know what to say. Her feelings were currently mixed, as if it wasn't her that was controlling how she wanted to feel or perhaps act. Run's head was marked with a short sharp pains in her temples, which caused her to finally hold her head down before standing up.

Jazmyne looked up to him and smiled. she continued to play with her toys. she tugged at his shirt, and pointed to the mountain.

"We have to wait for the others to get their wits about them. It will take a while." Gideon told Jazmyne. He poked at her sides and tickled her a little, being a little playful while holding her. Gideon smiled back at the child, glancing at the people occasionally.

"...What was that? Hmmm.... What? Gideon? What is he!?" Kane looked closer. "That bastard is giving them my family's powers! Well.... I always did like a challenge... I wonder how fast they can react with their new abilities." Kane chuckled as he took a pair of dice and began to shake them in his hand. "This is going to be good." He laughed sadistically as he threw the dice and let them roll.

A tree cracked and began to tip over, it's area of landing right on top of Kaname. The massive tree made a horrible sounding crack and groan as it made its way towards her.

Hachi could feel her body jerk as the energy or soul or whatever it was merged itself with her body. Almost instantly she felt her chi begin to rage, her body heating up as her entire frame seemed to lock into place. The strength of the soul that had been implanted in her was fighting against her already existent abilities; ones imbued in her blood from birth.

She could feel the wolf, attacking the foreign energy. The process was painful, excruciatingly so, but Hachi didn't flinch or cry. She simply clenched her fist her body folding at the waist. Suddenly she inhaled sharply her head tilting back. Her hair broke free of the tie keeping it up in a ponytail falling loose to her waist. From the top of her head two black wolf ears appeared, inky red energy dancing from the tip. Her tail was the next to show, the long heavily furred appendage swaying slightly.

Slowly the pain receeded but in its place was a strange desire. A desire for blood and pain unlike she had ever felt before. It was a feeling so intense it verged on madness, but it was focused, targeted; as if the madness had a will of its own. At the back of her mind she recognized the desire, as if a foreign thought simply cascaded through her mind. She needed to go up the mountain.

Otoko felt himself being pulled into a different position. Then something pushed into him. It felt like something was emptying his soul into black nothingness. He closed his eyes wincing. He bent over in pain, his hair lengthening and turning darker. The screams started in his, this time without the happy memories. His bones started to groan with the strain of growing to quickly, and his muscles thickened.

He laid there in pain for a few moments, and then stood. His irises where a crimson red. Some of his childish look had burned off his face, making him look more mature. Otoko smirked at the others transforming, feeling a faint connection to a select few.

Jazmyne's soul went is calmly. She closed her eyes, and she didn't feel right. She felt knowledge coming back to her, and more than that. Power. She opened her eyes and looked at Gideon. "Gideon! Gideon!" She said clapping. "I can speak now!" She said, not perfectly, but you could at least understand her.

Rhialla's emotions were a jumbled mess, she was already annoyed but now she felt anger bubble to the surface. It was intense, something she hadn't felt before, she wanted to hit something, or better yet, the someone who had brought her here. That anger felt foreign, like it wasn't hers and yet...it felt like hers. Rhialla stood up slowly, crossing her arms over her chest and her eyes widened. She'd never been that big before.... Everything was happening so fast, first she was randomly transported to this mountain, next some huge man gives them all powers and now she'd physically changed? Just how much? Rhialla touched her face, she couldn't see herself right now and quite frankly she didn't want to. Instead she took her anger and directed it at the person responsible, supposedly at the man in the castle. But before anything else could happen, a tree began to crack and fall, blue eyes widened as she saw where it was directed to fall. On a little girl. Rhialla wanted to do something, anything. She was just a little girl!
