"We have some Kornet mk 10 ATGMs attached to the apc."


The group soon arrived back into the vehicles as they made their way towards Intellania.

Ace rolled his eyes. "Whatever, but if the princess gets even a scratch, someone is losing a finger." He made a right and made his way over to the soldiers silently.

The soldiers were all sharpening swords and spears. Others were putting saddles on the horse's backs.


After a while, a riders came galloping towards the walls.


"Open the gate!" The general said as soldiers began to open the gates.


The horse ridder came in as he got off. "Report messenger." The general said.


"There are three things heaaded our way." The man said.


Outside, there were three UN vehicles headed towards the castle walls.


"Battle stations!" The general yelled.

Ace unsheathed his sword, eyes full of bloodlust. He pointed towards one of the recruits. "Get me a ropeladder. I want to be down there in the action." Once the rope was deployed, he lowered himself down the wall and stood with some other guards by the gate. He stood behind them, so he wouldn't be noticeable at first.

"What a wonderful warm welcome." Volski said.


"You know the drill. Don't shoot unless they attack first."


The special forces soldiers all came out of the vehicles.


Platoon commander Volski had a different combat uniform that the others as he stood out.

"Hold!" The generals all shouted. "What is your business here?!"


One of the soldiers was clearly nervous as he accidentally released an arrow. The Korean UDT moved to the side dodging the arrow. The other 13 special forces soldiers pointed their guns in return.


The sound of the guns made the soldiers flinch.


"Hold! I said. Wait!" One general said.


Volski also raised a hand as the platoon lowered their assault rifles, machineguns and sniper rifles.


"Do not engage." The generals told the soldiers.


"Bring it out." Volski said to two navy seals

"How long will it take?" One of the technicians asked.


"As long as it wants to." The head engineer replied.

Marcel was soon discharged from the hospital. He was given all of his things as he was let out of the UN hospital. He would have seen new multi-role stealth fighters coming out of the gates.

"Relax..I'm more interested in the guy that just came down right there, by the gate guards...becket look around and look for a possible sniping position" she gave orders to her team while not moving her gaze from the possible targets, a little excitement could be heard in her voice:


"Rookie eyes wide open, you will now see our enemy first hand..lets hope this doesn't get too messy"


Sgt. Beckett started noded and started looking around the area like an eagle, for a good spot, while Akari responded in a doubtful voice:


"Are you sure? they don't seem that dangerous...with swords and bows. They will gunned down before reaching 100 meters in front of us"


Kayla then grinned while answering.


"Don't underestimate the enemy rookie! They might be low tech compared to us, but technology isn't all and I will not let you mock the noble art of swordsmanship boy. Once we get to base I will personally show you what it can do as it seems you have forgotten that I also wield two blades" then with a defeated voice the private responded, immediately noticing that he unconsciously laughed of his captains training

Exiting the hospital, Marcel felt a shot of rage through his head. He knew he would make the next mission. He drove to the hangar to check out the new planes. Massive things, they were. Sure to leave a mark on those enemies.

The two navy seals came back with a crate. They opened it up and it was full of scales.


"One mission detail that I did leave out on purpose captain was that we were also to attempt trade with the natives so that we can learn about how their economy works." Volski said to Kayla.


The generals and officers still did not give any orders. "I will ask again. What are you doing here."


"We wish to trade. These scale things. But also we would like to talk with whoever is in charge of this town." A first lieutenant spoke.


Above, the generals were speaking with the nobles discussing what to do.


As the recon group was waiting, they were looking around at the soldiers.


Two soldiers in front of Ace were whispering to each other.


"Is that the magic wand that they use?"


"It seems awfully big for a wand."


"It can kill dozens of men."

Ace nodded. "If I die, tell the Emperor I was happy serving him." Ace stepped up with his sword firmly gripped in his hand. "Let me get this straight, you wish to trade with us eve though we are at war? Wow, you got some guts. Tell me, are those scales from the dragon you blasted out of the sky earlier?" His eyes were full of bloodlust and seriousness.

She took a look from a distance at the content of the crates then replied:


"Are those dragon scales? that is what you want from them? didn't we killed dozens before?"she then sat quietly a moment thinking and continued in a concern voice:


"And what do you intend to give them in return?"


Meanwhile sgt. Beckett seeing a hostile approaching put aside his handgun and took a prone position while readying his sniper rifle in a few moves. Then he whispered to the private.


"Greenhorn, put the weapon aside, get you binoculars and mark me potential hostiles. Start with the dude that is coming towards us."


Akari complied with the order and took position beside the sgt.


Kayla seeing the swordsman approached showed a small grin again.

Ace flicked his wrists and suddenly his sword gleamed and a little flame erupted from the tip of it. It spread through the rest of the blade. "Answer my question."

Volski raised his hand. "You see that thing? That thing fires 35mm bullets and can rip through concrete walls. Lower your sword and we will lower our weapons."


"It's an impossible war. We would have destroyed the kingdom if we wanted to long ago. Because we have the weapons capable flof doing just that. We're trading because we want to start some trade relations with neutral areas."


Volski pointed at the crate. "The german recon team sas the onsz who took out the dragon's arm with a panzerfaust. These are scales of dragons that tried to attack our base the first week we came through the gates."

Ace laughed. "You give us remains of our allies?" Ace snapped his fingers. Spear launchers and catapult were leaned over the wall. "I'm not scared of your gun, but we could discuss some trading matters." Ace paused to cross his sword over his chest. "The Emperor will never fail. If you decide to pull that thing, there is a 32% chance I could dodge t. I guess I have no upper advantage but then again their are the catapults. So how you want to do this? We can discuss trading matters or we can start a fight."

Kayla looked doubtfully at the commander while suggesting:


"Sorry to interrupt you sir, but he might not know what you are talking about. Let me draw my swords and escort you during negotiations. This way you will be on even terrain. I have a hunch that he isn't the type to be scared by guns so easily. I think seeing some weapons he recognize might help."

"You think guns are the only things we have?" Volski said to


Ace. He began to walk through the soldiers who made a tunnel for the recon platoon.


"Try defending yourself against nukes, or m2 mines, or tsar bombs."Major Herman said to ace as he also entered the city.

"I'll tell my men to stand down. But don't draw your swords yet." Volski said to Kayla.


"Their technology is equivalent to the mongol and roman empires. Advanced for their time, but not advanced enough."

Ace stayed back and stood beside an officer. He whispered into his ear. "Surround the entire city with cannons. You will not fire without my order. If I do not come within 20 minutes, feel free to investigate." Ace followed the soldiers with 8 knights behind him.
