Ace carefully turned to the officer. "I'd like you to stay here. In case things get.. difficult I will need you ready to ride." He turned to the knights and nodded. "Let's go then." He gently handed the princess a clean, black cloak for her to cover herself with so they wouldn't attract too much attention.

The knights all rushed as they entered the tavern the officer nodded at ace to speak.


A group of officers and the princess all sat down in a table.

Ace took off his hat but kept his sword on him. "Someone guard the tavern door, there are enemies in this village so we'd better watch out. Ask anyone in the tavern who would be willing to help us for 150 Gold. Hurry up." His voice was filled with authority and urgency.

After a while, a woman came forth. "The armoured people. They helped the people here. They came in these iron beasts. We were attacked by a flame dragon while we were traveling with them. They managed to injure the dragon."


The knights were shocked at hearing this. "But the flame dragon's armour is impossible to cut through. Even our mos powerful harpoons are useless."


"Ah, but these armoured people were shooting magic from their wands. It did some damage to the dragon but, they pulled out a larger wand. The 'Rod of steel' and they shot a powerful looking magic and it cut off the dragon's arm and burned it's chest revealing some insides. They were also able to blind on eye of the dragon. They guided us here and they left long before you arrived."

As they work suddently a Metalical Leg would crush the terminal and would start walking away,The head engenier eyes went wide as what the hell was wrong with RAY!? as he would get his wrist PDA and say "EVA return...I repeat Retur-"as Ray would stop and Look back as a Deep Voice says "Eva dose Not exist"It says as it would begine to sprint away,the head engenier would continue trying to stop it but nothing,as he would look at the Commanding engenier and say "Sir we cant stop it!!...we must finde away without Damaging it!"

Ace cringed. "Tell me, did this magic looking like a reddish orange to you?"

"No, there was no colour with the rod of steel. But, the wands had a whitish reddish colour when they used their spells." The lady said.


"I'd like to know more about these 'wands' they use." One of the soldiers said.

Ace raised his hands up to silence everyone. "To be honest, I don't care much about the rods. I know you're lying to me though. Do you think I am dumb? I saw some helicopters head out and I'm sure some soldiers are still here. I heard them and I saw their snipers mounting the hill." Ace looked up to the woman with a devilish eye. "Where are they?"

"Sir There were no Traces of Eva it was somthing else!...it dint seem like any Program i have seen before...But its worth a shot sir"he says as he would Look towards the Running Ray as it was kinda far away,as its Optics were Glowing white insted of blue,whatever was that it dint seem Normal

(Just to be clear, the two groups are in completely different villages. They are eventually going to meet at the final destination. Just not right now. Also, it's kind of odd right now since Ace would not know what a sniper is or what even a gun or helicopter is since he has never seen one until now. He would not know what they are called unless he has some form of knowledge of human equipment.)

"There is no one. Soldiers already came and checked the entire village and all the armoured men have gone."

Ace slammed his fist against the table. "Dammit woman! Can you at least tell me where the dragon is so I can have some idea what he was injured with?"


(I am embarrassed. Thought it was the same village.)

(It's alright. I made my mistake of not being more clear. Mistakes happen. But just remember that Ace would not know what the names of human equipment or their functions are since he has never seen them before and it would be weird for him to know what a helicopter or sniper is when he's never seen one.)

"It's nothing from this world. You would have to find one of those armoured men if you want to know what magic they used." The woman said.


"But it was very big. As big as an arm."

"I'm good." Ace stopped to turn to the officers. "We should get going before armoured men actually do come."

The officer agreed as the soldiers all came out with stocks of ale, and food as they loaded them up.


"I recommend going at top speed to reach Intellania by dawn." The officer said as the convoy began to move again.

Ace nodded and looked over at the princess. "You can take your hood down at least." He shrugged and leaned back, closing his eyes. He wasn't sleeping; he just needed some peace.

"What magic could they be using to be able to cut off a flame dragon's arm?" One of the soldiers asked."Must be very powrful magic to be able to pierce through the dragon's thick armour."

"Keep alert." The commander reminded the platoon.

Ace kept his eyes closed but continued to listen to the conversation.

Kayla replied with a short "Yes sir!" as she followed the rest of the platoon. Before entering the village she asked via COM:


"Sniper team how's the view up there are we clear to enter?"

"We are nearly there." The Knight said.


"What will you do sir, if you ever meet these armoured men in person?" The officers asked Ace.

Ace raised his head just a bit. "Cut their heads off with my sword and leave one standing to intetrogate. Once we milk the information out of him, I'll kill him then send the info over to the Emperor. "

"We're here." The knight said. The convoy had finally made it to Intellania. The nobels of the city were at the gate awaiting the convoy.

"Back in the vehicles everyone." Commander Volski said through his helmet.


"What were you doing?" The SAS asked.


"I was asking for directions. The mayor here was kind enough to give them." Volski replied.


"I gave them directions to our base. One of the recon trams ran into a dragon. Thry managed to blow off an arm and burn parts of it's skin. I got word that the dragon headed in our direction. We should be able to reach our final destination very soon. Just 3 hours." Volski said.


"Lets go." The SAS major said as he looked at the two to get down to the vehicles again.

"We're here." The knight said. The convoy had finally made it to Intellania. The nobels of the city were at the gate awaiting the convoy.


"There is a story, when the enemy cirst came through those gates, one armoured man was able to slaughter 30 men without recieviing any injuries. You should take caution when you encounter one of them. One armoured man is stronger than 30 men." The officer said before the nobels asked for his presence.

Ace didn't reply. He gingerly took the princess' hand and helped her off the convoy. "We're here. Where exactly do I escort you to?"

"We shall guide her majesty." The nobles said as they began guiding the princess to the noble house.


"You should make your way to the soldiers. There is word that an army is on their way here." The noble said to ace.

"Roger that!" Kayla responded, then started heading towards the vehicles.


"Are they alright? the recon team? going against a dragon without heavy equipment must be tough" then remembered something important and asked."I hope we have some rocket launcher ourselves, sir. Or else things will get messy out there."


Meanwhile Sgt. Becket and Akari noded at the major and started running towards the vehicles while putting their equipment over their shoulders.
