You stand up and clear your mind.


"I'll be right back."





You focus on the image that Shadow's sprite sent you, and before you know it, you're standing in the room.


"Shadow?! Where are you?"

"Ken?" She tried to sit up again but ended up screaming in pain again.


"Please be still dear." Teddysprite said, trying to sooth her. "Over here Ken."

You walk over to Shadow. God, she's in bad shape. You remember that Afrien has the Life aspect. Maybe he can do something.


"Sorry, this may hurt a bit."





You lift Shadow as gently as you can.

She cringed and bit her lip. It hurt so much. "I...I'm sorry...to bother you Ken..." She murmured, grabbing onto his shirt. "Sorry..."

"Don't apologize, Shadow. We're all in this together. I won't leave anyone behind."





You focus on Duke's house and teleport back there, Shadow in tow.


"We got an emergency! 911, code blue!"

Kersin, startled, sprang from the couch. "Code blue?!" although kersin had never heard of any medical terms, he knew just by looking at shadow and ken that this was an emergency."Ok, we already have a few bandages I can stop any bleeding, but if somethings broken we would need to alchemize the proper supplies to mend it." kersin said urgently "Put her on one of your human beds, I'll be back with extra bandages in a moment." he said calmly whilst rushing to alchemize extra bandages.

You gently set Shadow down on a bed.


"Kersin will know what to do."





You look at your hands, shocked to realize that there are dark blue stains on them, as well as on your shirt.


"What the...? Is this... your blood...?"

Shadow: Try to stop them


She started struggling, despite the pain, and ran to the wall. "No! I'm fine. Really! Don't help..." She said, already panting for breath. You knew it, Ken was scared. "I'll be fine, don't worry. No broken bones, just really sore. Promise." She said with a smile.

"Shadow, you're bleeding! You're not fine! Let us help you!"

She shook her head. "No...your scared. I know...that you are...I-I'm fine...I-I'm...I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." She kept repeating, sliding to the floor.

"Well, of course I'm scared! Scared that you're going to die!"





You walk up to Shadow and look her in the eye.


"Let us help you. We're not going to leave you like this. You're our friend. And no friend gets left behind."

She teared up and buried her head into her knees. She wasn't used to this. She wasn't used to people caring about her. How was she supposed to act? Was she doing the wrong thing? What if he came to fear and hate her? This caused her to cry harder though she tried to stop. She didn't want him to know she was having such thoughts. That would worry him, right?

"Kersin, we need those bandages!"





You grab a towel, wet it, and use it to clean the blood off of Shadow's arms and face.


"Shadow, please. Let us help you."

Kersin rushed back into the room "I got em, I got em." kersin said calmly "Shadow you need to get up and let me patch you up, I can't do that whilst your on the ground." he said calmly

She glanced up at Ken then Kersin before nodding, trying to get up, but her body screamed at her and she fell back down.

You help Shadow stand up and get back to the bed.

"S-sorry." She said, tears still spilling over and rolling down her cheeks.

Kersin had began to clean and dress shadows wounds. it was nothing to serious and nothing he couldn't handle as he had seen much worse after many of the rebellions. After a few minutes kersin had bandaged shadow thoroughly. "Alright we will change your bandages in a few hours, until then you need to lie down and rest."

"It's okay, Shadow. You're among friends. Rest up, okay?"

She only nodded, staring at the ceiling.

Ken: Confer with Kersin


You take Kersin into the next room.


"Is it serious? Will she recover?"

"She will be fine, I've seen and dealt with much worse." kersin said comforting ken.

You breathe a sigh of relief.


"That's good. Once she recovers, we can continue exploring, try and find out how we can stop the Dersites."

You float over to Shadow.


"Very sorry to bother you, miss Malria. My name is Alisprite. I am Ken's sprite."





You bow to Shadow.

She glances over, afraid to move. "Don't bow...I'm not worth it..." She whispered so no one else would hear her. She knew they'd deny it, but good was she if she couldn't even kill an ogre for her own survival? She should've just been left for dead...
