Vulture then proceeded to thrust her sword into kens chest. She then pulled it away and stared intensely at aura, her insane glare ceasing to lift from her face.

You stumble back and clutch your head, veins popping out in your skin. Your eyes fill to a solid color of your blood.
"AND I'LL KILL YOU!"
You blast forwards and begin slashing at Vulture rapidly, with an extremely murderous gaze. She will PAY for killing your best friend!

You heard the thrust like an intense blow to the chest yourself, watching as Ken falls limp. His eyes glaze over, and so do yours.
He's dead.

No. That's not fudging possible. He was... Just alive...

You notice Vulture staring at you, finally smashing in the final restraints to your full on RAGE.
"You didn't... You wouldn't. Ken? Please, Ken, no."
You walk over to him slowly, face becoming beyond mortified. You cup his head in you arms, staring into his clouded over eyes. You make one last weak smile, then giggle a little. As if it couldn't be real.
"Hey, wake up silly! Now's not the time to... Play games."
You start shaking, vision blurring out as you tear up. Your smile quivers.
"Ken... Please, you can't... You can't leave me like this!"
You feel your heart race faster, tears dripping off of your face pattering onto his.
"Ken..."
After a moment, you gently place his head on the ground.
"...I'll AVENGE YOU."
You face Vulture down, eyes wide.
"BY KILLING HER."
You feel your being begin to fill with Rage. You face her down, then scream.

"Afrien. We have to work together, alright? If we want to kill this murderer, avenge Ken, we have to be meaningful. No more blind fury. Only motivated passion..."
Your face becomes more serious as you continue to look at him.
"'It's what Ken would have wanted."
You look back at Vulture, eyes still purple but a calm seemed to wash through you. You had finally conquered the Rage. It would no longer control you. And you were ready to finally use it properly.

Kersin put his hands over Kens body and began to work his magic. A black glow enveloped both Ken and Kersin as if shadows were being called from their hiding spots to grieve for the both of them.
