You hop out the window and fly behind Ken.

You eventually make it to the Veil. Almost immediately, something catches your eye. One of the meteors has a building on it! You fly down to it.

Amanda giggles happily and flies past Ken, landing on the meteor. "Come on! Hurry up!" She said, bouncing on her feet, her pain basically forgotten.

You smile at Amanda's eagerness. You fly over to the door and open it, peeking inside.


"It's empty... at least, what I can see of it."

You look around inside. Nothing is alive in there.


"Its empty. No one is here."

Amanda went from happy to devastated in no more than one second. It was empty? Man....there went her excitement. She got herself hopeful and excited for an empty laboratory. How embarrassing.....


Amanda: Go inside


She walked inside, her head down. This day had officially gone from bad to worst.

Afrien : Fiddle with Machines


You find a small cord and hook it into the side of your head, sending a jolt through your body. You then press some buttons using the braille nubs present. You begin to spy on Karkat, and you assume that his picture came up on screen, as it did in your brain. You press on a microphone and speak.


"Karkat, can you hear me?"

"Calm down, Amanda. I have some important things to do here."





Alisprite pops out of the pendant.


"Follow me, Ken."


"All right. You two, make yourselves comfortable, I guess. I'll be back."





You follow Alisprite through the lab.

You hear a voice suddenly coming through your computer.


"What the fuck?! Who said that?!"

Karkat: Follow instructions


You connect to the computer Afrien's using and talk into the microphone.


"Hello?"

Amanda: Become interested


She looked over at what Afrien was doing and became interested. She walked over and looked at who she assumed was Karkat. "He's kinda cute..." She said with a tilt to her head as she looked him over.

Some of the others hear you talking and walk over to you.


"Hey, Karcat! Who're you talking to?"


"Afrien and Amanda."


"Ooh, Amanda? Can I talk to her? Please?"





Nepeta looks at you with pleading eyes.


"Oh, all right."


"Yaay!"





You step aside, and Nepeta takes the mic.


"Hey, Amanda! It's me, Nepeta!"

You would if your head wasn't connected to the monitor. Looks like you have to deal with the crazy cat girl.

Amanda pushes Afrien away from the mic and smiles. "Eeeeee! Nepeta! You are so cute! Look at you! Being all adorable!" She said with a giggle.

You barely stop yourself from being ripped out of the computer, and hold fast on the cord.

"Oh hush you. No one cares." She said, waving him away with a pout. She was busy at the moment and didn't want to be bothered by his whining. She then turned back to the screen with a smile. "I know! And it's nice knowing I now know what you look like. It was a tad weird that you could watch me, but meh. So, how are ya doing? Oh! And what about the otfurs? Are they alright too?"

"We're all doing great! We were watching you fight the King and Queen, and you were so awesome! And then Jack showed up, and we got scared, but you totally crushed him! Oh, that reminds me!"





You turn away from the microphone to the others.


"Everyone! Come say hi to Amanda and Afrien!"





Equius is the first to respond. He walks over and takes the mic.


"Hello, Amanda."
