You rocket back past Shadow, and begin hovering in place next to her to catch your breath.


"This bitch is tough."

You roll out of the way of the King's strike and whack him in the face again.

Aura: Go


You feint to the right, just as Ken asks. You start feeling an increase in heat as your mace head starts blazing, causing a crazy looking trail of stars, while making weird droplets of itself as it comes off your weapon. LIKE A FUDGING LAVA LAMP. SO COOL.

Duke: Examine wreckage


Damn, direct hit! Looks like you sunk her battleship, glad you won't be seeing that bitch eve-


Duke: Notice Black Queen


...Shit, she's still standing. Guess she got out before it hit. You watch as she flailed an escape pod. Well, guess that explained how she got out in time, at least she doesn't have that mech no more. Although, you really would have love to have had one. Maybe you can scavenge the wreckage later for some kind of trophy, you never really got one before so you'd just love to have something to brag about.


Duke: Continue assault


You start firing beams of dark magic again, aiming right for the Black Queen. You were okay with blasting the mech to bits, but you wish to finish the job.

"I know...do you think you can handle it?" She asked, never letting her wind stop around any of them. She wanted to help more, but this was all she could do at the moment.

Amanda started focusing her arrows on the Queen, making her both explode and freeze if they hit. Maybe she might add lightning too? She giggled as she did. This was fun!

Afrien : Act Fast


You Shove Shadow out of the way, and take the storm of bullets head on.

Shadow watched as Afrien's body fell. He just...he just protected her...she felt herself start to cry and ended up sobbing. No...no, he couldn't be....she glared at the Queen before splitting her sword into two daggers and slashed at the Queen, her focus higher than normal. She killed him...she killed Afrien!

"THEO CATCH!" Kersin called whilst tossing her a Fraymotief. Although it was hers kersin had hacked into her boonbucks cachè whilst she had not bought hers just in case she never bought it in which she never did. Theo caught the fraymotif and motioned for her and kersin to synchronize as she saw ken and aura doing. She activated her fraymotief,

Kersin and Theo feel a surge of energy and together, with weapons raised, they spiraled towards the Black Queen.

You hear the gunfire and turned to see Afrien's body plummet into the ravine below.

You continue slamming your Scepter across the King's face.

The Queen ejects herself from the escape pod, dodging Theo and Kersin's attack, and grabs Shadow's throat, lifting her up.

Shadow gasps and drops her daggers, gasping for breath. She...she couldn't breath...but maybe....she wrapped her wind around her throat, making it squeeze tighter and tighter. Would this work?

You begin to float up from where the Seer of Life fell, and stop behind the Sylph of Wind.

You pull the Sylph from the Black Queen's grasp, and keep a hold around her neck.

You bite down into the Sylph's shoulder, drinking an ounce of her cobalt blood.

As you close in on the king, you notice the figure grabbing Shadow. You falter a bit, then look over at Ken.

You watch the battle, from afar, as you continue to attack. Well, so far it's been going good...minus Afrien getting killed an plummeting into a ravine. You watch as the Black Queen left the safety of her pod to assault Shadow, only to be stopped by...up...what? What was even happening right now...I-it looks like Afrien is alive, but was now...Different...

Shadow: Faint


From the loss of blood and from over exerting yourself with your powers, Shadow faints. All she sees at the moment is black, but she doesn't hear anything. What...what had happened?

The Queen stumbles back, screeching.


"Damn you, troll! You'll pay for this!"


She fires off several photon blasts at Afrien.

You see that Afrien is alive, and give him a speed boost.


Afrien : Counter


You slice apart the photon blasts, and disarm the Black Queen once again.

You extend one arm and catch Shadow, pulling her close.


"Sorry about that."


You know she can't hear you, but its the thought that counts.

"OH MY GOD ITS A VAMPIRE WHAT DO I DO ITS SO FUDGING WHAT EVEN OH MY GOD AAAAAAAAAAAA-!"


You, in your panic, almost miss Ken. As he gets slammed by the hand, you lose it. You smash the hand away from you, screaming, then fly towards Ken. You smash into the ground in your panic to get to him, then notice the crater around him. You start getting incredibly angry, picking him up from his place on the ground.


"KEN?! KEN!! WAKE UP!"

You stumble to your feet.


"I'm not... done yet..."





You look at Aura.


"You're furious. I can tell. Let's use that fury. I'll distract him. You smash him up."

The Queen stumbles back again.

Her torso suddenly opens up, revealing a timer that begins counting down from 20.


"I'm... taking you... with me...!"





Wires shoot from her arm stumps and wrap around Afrien and Shadow, pulling them towards her.
