Ahh, I get what you mean. I've never been in a role play that's done that, so I didn't think of that.
I will probably commence with doing this, as it admittedly makes more sense. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I haven't GMed in like a year so I'm pretty rusty sometimes.
So if I gave people like 2-3 days to play out a time period *Monday Morning, 8th Jan*, would that sound reasonable?

I think that would work. We have A Lot of people so that would give people time to post. I would just play it by ear. If the rp is going pretty quickly with responses you might move the event date up but if it's going relatively slow you can move it back. I like the idea of haing some type of date for events just so no one gets left behind. And the date can change depending on activity.

Yeah be a bit flexible depending on replies. I like that.
Also be like: 'hey we're gonna have this major event starting on DATE' so people know something important is happening, but leave it on for 3-4 days so people can interact?

If all else fails I will. But I'll wait and see if anyone else wants it since I already have 2 characters. I'll be pretty active most of the time. However once I start work again that might become just a little less. But I'll still be active.

Thank you so much for everything you've done, BriiAngelic BriiAngelic , and I'm sorry that you found this RP not working out for you. Hope to RP with you in another one that does, though, if any of us find ourselves being interested in the same ones!

I've also seen the trouble in the poll I made and would just like to make sure I put one up that works for everyone. If anyone can let me know of one that would work better, or if people don't want a poll like that up and we have ideas as to how we can work it somehow else, please do let me know!
 
Welp, for some reason I can't edit or even delete the poll :/ But, I did take everyone's ideas for the poll into consideration. Instead of the one I put up, I instead want to ask everyone if the weekend of the 12th - 14th sounds good to hold the Golden Week event and if everyone could reply with their time zone. During those three days, we all can reply to the Golden Week RP page for the event! :D
