Forbidden Love (Dreamer)

((lol better than going to find elves and learn magic))

Reven

I rolled my eyes and just slid a bowl of fruit across the counter for her, along with a small plate with a bit of toasted bread on it. "It's not so bad, once you're used to it. It's filling." I knew she didn't like it, but I had to eat less of this than other things to be full and ready for whatever activity I needed to do. It was faster to eat than other things.

Izabelle-

I made a face at his comments, and happily ate my fruit. After I finished, I washed up the dishes. After drying my hands, I leaned towards the hallway, listening for Maryanne. When nothing happened, I grabbed a pen and paper, "Berry picking. Always, Iz" I wrote quickly, leaving it on the table. "Ready?"

Reven

I nodded, slinging my sword's strap up onto my shoulder since I wanted to take it with us but didn't think it safe trying to ride Rallek with it. I'd set it down when we reached a good place. "Let's go."

We want outside and woke Rallek just by our presence, his eyes easing open before we ever got to him. He greeted us both warmly, and was already beginning to pick himself up even as I hugged around his neck as best I could, pressing my head to his. "Let's go and greet the skies." I said softly, and he turned his eyes towards me.

We fly now? I only smiled and nodded, and could feel the happy warmth that came from him. He did love flying, and here he would be able to do it. With us tagging along.

Izabelle-

"Scared, Reven?" I laughed, straddling Rallek. He hadn't immediately jumped on, so I had. I kissed one of Rallek's scales, "Let's go!"

((I've never ridden a dragon, I don't know how to do this))

Reven

I shook my head and just climbed up in front of her, finding a good enough hold with my hands and thighs on Rallek's back. "Just hold on, all right. Let's start by walking. Right, Rallek?" He grumbled at us, something I could feel more than hear, and started off at a lumbering walk through the trees. It wasn't so hard to hold on, then.

((. . . Who has ridden a dragon?))

((Awesome people!))

Izabelle-

I sighed, my head in a hand, "Can we actually do something now?". While I had no sense of caution, Reven made up for it in triples. Sure, riding a running dragon was neat, but could we get on with the show? I didn't want gravity hold me down anymore, I wanted to feel something new.

Reven-

I looked back at Izabelle with a frown. "Would you like to fall off while we are hundreds and hundreds of feet off the ground? I would not like to do that, nor see you do that. We have to get if to holding on while we're grounded first. Everything comes in steps, Iz, and we have to take them in order sometimes."

((Well, that was an Izzy and Bella conversation, lol.))

Izabelle-

"I am holding on" I muttered under my breath. Was he having problems? This really wasn't much different then horse back. Just a different texture and size. Sometimes, he was so much like Father, it drove me insane!

Reven-

I rolled my eyes when I'd turned back around, and just urged Rallek into a clearing, where we came to a stop. "Rise your wings," I instructed, then held on tight. "Rear up." She wanted to fly, then we could see how she did when we were near vertical while still on he ground.

Izabelle-

I felt my heart kick up a beat and the excitement lit up my face. I felt the gravity pull me back, but from enough training with horses, knew the muscles to strain so I would stay where I was.

Having fun, yet?

I could only laugh with joy.

Reven-

I had to laugh a little, because of Rallek, and because of Izabelle's laughing, and when Rallek came back down, I turned enough to look back at my sister. "Ready?" I asked, a little breathless already with anticipation.

Fly. Fly. We fly now?

Yes. My heart all but shouted. Let us go and greet the skies.

Izabelle-

When Rallek took off, all the breath left my body. This was... This was everything. It wasn't scary, as I thought it would be. It was exhilarating.

"We're doing it, Reven!" I called, barely able to be heard over the wind rushing past

Reven-

Going up was a little difficult, with the angle we had to make, but when we leveled out, when we were just soaring through the air - I couldn't breathe. It was just . . . It was incredible. Amazing. Beautiful. I raised my arms to the sky and just gave an elated shout, because there was no one here to hear it, and no one to tell me no. We did it. We did it.

Izabelle-

I wrapped my arms around Reven, hugging him from behind. All our lives we'd somehow been restricted, but now; Now we could do anything we dreamed of! Together I knew we could accomplish anything.

After a day of flying, we came home, Hair windblown and cheeks red with glee. "Hello Maryanne!" I called. She came out, arms crossed, but a smirk on her face, "Do you have any idea what would happen if our parents caught you doing that?"

Reven-

I flushed a little and just ran a hand back through my hair, still catching my breath a bit and almost wobbling on 'saddle' sore legs. "Horrible, horrible things?" I knew we would have been in trouble, but Maryanne wasnt going to scold us like they would. "You can't tell me you've never wanted to."

((Don't sprain your freaking pinkie toe on the bathroom doorway. It hurts. A lot.))

Izabelle-

Maryanne smiled and laughed a bit, "Go was up, you two" I went into our small bathroom and just gazed at myself for a moment. There, was a girl who wasn't afraid. One who could try anything, and be anyone. She wasn't going to marry without love, and she was strong enough to stand with that decision. That girl was me.

((Ow :( sounds bad. I kicked a bumped up piece of sidewalk today, and was wearing sandals but somehow managed to hit just my toe and not the sandal. That hurt))

Reven-

I followed Izabelle after a moment and gave her a little nudge to get her to move away from the sink since I needed to at least wash my hands and she could look in the mirror from over there. "Thoughts?" I queried lightly, and just pushed my sleeves up to start washing. She did get lost like that, at times. I was happy to leave her to her thoughts if she was happy still.

((The accident prone, are we))

Izabelle-

I grinned at him, "Not even thought, just joy". When we went for dinner, I couldn't help breathing in the smell, "Ah, Maryanne, you've done it again!". She laughed, "Anything for the picky princess".

"Heeeeeeey"

Reven-

I laughed softly and just went to the table to pull out a chair for her. "You make faces at certain foods, Izabelle. It's mostly why you're always sat next to me." If she didnt like something, we had practiced the art of inconspicuously trading it from her plate to mine.

Izabelle-

I shrugged, "Truth has been told". Sitting down, I almost couldn't believe it. Maryanne was almost better then the palace chef, and she didn't bother making it pretty with little nasty green leaves and sauces where flavors didn't match. Maybe this is why I preferred her cooking.

((Sorry, I've been really busy all day))

Reven

Izabelle ate with abandon, but I actually enjoyed manners when they weren't just a show or placed upon us for stupid reasons. I ate slowly and neatly, so that I could enjoy all of it for longer, and only smiled a little once Izabelle was done. "Seconds?" I didn't really mind that she ate like a man. If she was hungry, she was hungry. No one should make her feel it was inappropriate.

((And I've been really busy ALL THE TIME. Only on lunch break, don't get your hopes up))

Izabelle-

I grinned, "Always!"

Maryanne laughed and served me up again, and I ate until I was practically in a daze. That night, I curled into Reven's bed, still not wanting to be separated.

"I love this life", I sighed, "It's so perfect"

((Oh my god me too! I'm on my lunch break as well. Been SOOO busy))

Reven-

I scooted aside for Izabelle that night, almost before she'd even come to the room, and turned on a side so I could hold her hand. "It's almost perfect." I corrected softly, whispering so Maryanne wouldn't hear and come tell us to sleep. "Once we're done. . . Once we've done what we need to do. . . We'll come back. We'll find our place here."

((And I have a day off. But what does Mom want? Me to continue packing me room. Ack))

Izabelle-

I meant to reply, but I'd fallen asleep. When I woke up in the morning, I could immediately feel yesterday in my shoulders. I moaned and rolled over, "No. Morning is evil"

((You moving or something?))

Reven-

I was glad I had the position closest to the wall the bed was pressed up against, or I probably would've been on the floor again in the morning. I'd been mostly awake but dozing lightly when Izabelle started moaning about something, and flinched a little when she rolled over into me. I was sore in a lot of places, from using muscles I didn't normally use, but it was just a reminder of what we'd accomplished, what we could do. "Oh, get up." I said gently, giving her a little nudge. "The sooner you're up and moving, the sooner you'll actually feel like you're awake."
