Forbidden Love (Dreamer)

((Yepp. Moving out! Up to Vancouver so I can go to International Air and Hospitality Academy and become a flight attendant))

Izabelle-

"No," I mumbled into his side, "Don't want to". But soon, I was up and moving, knotting my hair up and happy to not be stuffed into a dress. My boots were leather, and old enough to be practically molded to my foot. My muscles ached but it was welcomed now.

((Oh, cool ^_^ college, then?))

Reven-

I stretched a little once Izabelle had gone, then got up and got dressed myself, ready for the day. We'd all but mastered flying yesterday, so now all we had to do was go back to the Edge, and find the boy whose impossible fabric we'd sort of accidentally stolen. But first, breakfast, and we had to find out if Maryanne would need our help with anything. I did feel bad leaving her alone, sometimes, even if she'd been alone here ever since she'd left the castle.

((And back on laptop, cause I couldn't handle the tiny screen and keyboard))

Izabelle-

Maryanne practically shooed us out the door, almost as excited as we were. I had the fabric tied around my wrist, a place I would for sure know it would stay. Grabbing my bow, I turned to Reven, "Are you ready?"

((Lol I wouldn't be able to either))

Reven-

I checked to be sure my sword was secure on my back since I couldn't ride with it at my hip, and started the short climb up to Rallek's back. "Ready. Let's go and find ourselves an elf."

Izabelle-

Once we reached our destination, Rallek seemed to get skittish. He wouldn't go any closer to the Edge then about fifteen feet away. I dismounted and cooed to him, trying to get him to follow me, but he wouldn't do it. "Odd," I muttered, "He's never acted like this"

Reven

I got down with Izabelle and stroked Rallek's head, whispering soothingly to him. "It . . . It's all right, Rallek. We'll continue alone." I'd hoped to take him with us, for traveling purposes and so that any magic users would accept us easier. "Wait here for us."

((Woah. Update. Weiiiiiiiierd))

Izabelle-

With Father's training, our footsteps were silent. I listened for the bell like sound, holding my breath. Rallek sat down behind us, almost nervous. But besides that, there was almost no sound.

(( O.o whoooaaaa. . .))

Reven-

I shook my head a little, once we'd moved in silence for almost ten whole minutes. "We're going to have to start searching. I dont hear or see anything." Maybe there was a way for them to suppress the sound. Maybe he just would never come back to this spot.

Izabelle-

I huffed in frustration, planting my hands firmly on my hips as I stood on the Edge before the drop off, "Agh! He was just he-". I still cannot explain what happened that next moment, I don't believe Reven can either. But it was as if I was pushed, by nothing. I tumbled down the Edge, with nothing to catch my fall.

Reven-

I leaped without looking, automatically sending out a mental distress even as I grabbed onto her in midair. Rallek overcame his fear, though, miraculously, and swept in to catch us on a wing. The landing was rough still, but we rolled to the ground rather than crash landed and laid in a heap at the bottom when the tumble stopped.

"Wh-What was that?" Was he back? Was it him? Was someone attacking us?

Izabelle-

I had to catch my breath first, "I-I'm not s-sure". I jumped up again, and looked around me. We were in the small clearing, it was peaceful and quiet. Flowers sprinkled around the area. Then, there was a grab at my wrist, when nothing was in front of me, "R-Reven?"

Reven

I didn't like the way her voice sounded, and as I picked myself up I reached back for my sword, but halfway to my feet something solid came down against the back of my head. I pitched forward, shocked and dizzy, and collapsed to the ground, vision going fuzzy as I sprawled there. I could see . . . imprints in the grass, like footsteps without any feet, but nothing was there to see. What sort of sorcery was this?

Izabelle-

"Reven!" I croaked, too afraid to scream even. Suddenly, something was sniffing me. The intakes were mostly of my hair and around my head, and I did my best not to squirm. A language was soon by my ear, too fast for me to understand. I simply held my breath and prayed.

Reven

I tried to reach for her, tried to get my sword again even though it felt like the ground was tilting beneath me, throwing my off balance, but a hand landed on my head, and there were words I didn't understand. I heard Rallek roaring at the edge of my perception before I knew nothing but darkness and the tang of magic in my mouth. I didn't know where I would wake up.

Izabelle-

When I woke, it was in a bed. But the cloth was no longer around my wrist, I didn't recognize my surroundings and I couldn't see Reven. I felt panic sneak up on my, but the tinkling sound then entered the room. A beautiful... Woman? She was silver in color, with eyes that filled her kind face. Her ears came to a point and she wore many jewels. She spoke softly in the language, and then turned to me, "Hello Princess"

Reven

My head throbbed when I woke, and it had me bleary, but I sat up much too fast and much too straight as soon as I realized I had no idea where I was. My attention spun quickly to the only other person in the room, even as I put a hand to my head and winced at the pain. "Y- You!"

It was the elf from the first time we'd found him, the one that had tossed me off the Edge with his magic, and he didn't really look any happier than me to be here, sitting in a chair with his arms crossed and a frown on his face - his features were too . . . beatific; it looked more like a pout than a frown, but his voice was clearly male. "Yeah, me." He grouched. "You know, this is all your fault. None of this would be happening if you didn't sneak up on me. Make some noise when you walk, for heaven's sake!"

Izabelle-

I'm sure my mouth fell open, and the woman laughed, "Oh dear, you want to be with your brother?" I nodded and was soon led down beautiful halls filled with music and color. I tried to capture everything, but there was far too much. Reaching a huge wooden door, I saw Reven, "This is amazing!" I squealed, and then noticed the other presence after the door closed behind me, "U-Uh, hello?"

Reven

"Iz!" I said quickly, getting up to my feet and then stumbling a bit woozily, only to sit abruptly back down on the mattress. "Ow. . ."

The other boy only rolled his eyes and curled up a little further in his seat, like he wanted to be even farther away with both of us here. "No, no, don't let me kill your buzz. I've only ruined my life. No big deal."

Izabelle-

When Reven only sat back down, I got worried, "What'd they do?" I turned to the boy, hands on my hips, "You! Explain it all! Now" He couldn't just sit there and sulk! And I was a princess, therefore that was a royal order!

Reven-

The boy glared at her, something I didn't like, but he wasnt getting up like he would hit her so i stayed put. "They whacked him on the head, that's what they did!" The boy grouched. "What do you think happened!" Oh. That . . . That wasnt how people talked to Izabelle, not ever. Reven wasnt sure if she would be stunner or just more angry.

((Oh God xD ))

Izabelle-

I met him with sharp eyes, "That is obvious," I growled, "But at least he's not so stupid to leave behind a map!" I went to grab the cloth on my wrist, and remembered it was gone. Curses!

Reven

I frowned slightly, wondering what she meant by 'map' since we'd already been here before. . . Although 'here' was the Edge and this was not the Edge anymore, so where were we? The window was covered.

The other boy didn't back down, only kept glaring a little. "Call me stupid all you want - at least I don't go stomping around the forest when there's a price on my head!" He'd been intended to be used for bait, actually, but that hadn't ended up being necessary.

((I love this xD Bella and Izzy had the exact same temper, and I love that I can work it in! Ah!!))

Izabelle-

I crossed my arms in front of me, happy I was above him since he was sitting. Not that if he was taller would stop anything. But I let myself glower right back at him, "We're not the only one with a price, boy"

((Lol glad to accommodate))

Reven-

I winced slightly when all he did was role his eyes. "As if. You're the first human to see any of us in years. More than just that, even. You got a price on my head and its one you invented in yours." I wasnt really sure what to do to diffuse the situation. At this point sitting back and waiting to do damage control seemed safest.

Izabelle-

Sometimes, I am not a princess. Sometimes, I am a fighter. And when you're telling me I'm wrong, the princess in me dies. And when you blame me for something that is not entirely my fault, I get a little mad. Just a little. So, yeah, I mighta slapped him hard enough that when it contacted in echoed in the big room. I spun on my heel and went to the huge window, and then spun back to face him again, "You're the one that got caught!" I was so mad, I couldn't think straight.
