Forbidden Love (Dreamer)

Izabelle-

I frowned at the arrow, watching it. "You have to relax, otherwise you'll never hit it" I said, thinking out loud. "Your bow. . ." I hunted for a way to describe it. I went up and took his bow, placing it at our feet, "Your bow is a partner in a waltz," I said, starting the simple dance, "You have to move with it, or you'll never accomplish the rhythm"

((Am I having fun? Yes:3))

((Lol but Fenris is too bitter to let this continue for long))

Fenris-

I watched her moving, slow and graceful and timed to music that wasnt there - she was beautiful and fluid and a complete and utter fool. "What the hell are you talking about?" I gave her a scathing look for taking my bow away, since I had to cringe and grind my teeth together in order to bend down and retrieve it again, then got another arrow. "I'm incapable of relaxing at the moment - do me a favor and get out of the way so I can repeat the motions until its muscle memory."

((Fenris, you're a big bobo. Just like Merrick was! Grr))

Izabelle-

I glared right back at him, "At least I know what I'm talking about!" I turned away from him, and started away, only to turn back, "There's more to archery then muscle memory, Fenris. If you'd be willing to learn"

((Agh, g2g))

Fenris-

I notched the arrow again, drew it up tight and released without looking at her, keeping myself still by force if will. The arrow thwacked solidly into the target, at the very edge of the bullseye, but I was too tired and sore and focused to feel smug. "You were saying?" I could do it, under normal circumstances, when I didn't feel like my bones were rotting from the inside out, when that fact didnt make my hands sweat and shake and my muscles twitch unpredictably. I just didnt have any time to waste. With that mark on my back, I was officially declared alone. No one would want to be near me anymore. They would know what I'd done in almost exposing us. I would need to be able to protect myself, better than I ever had before.

((. . . Brat!))

Izabelle-

I couldn't yell, I'd promised Reven. So I acted. The wall behind me held similar arrows, and I snatched one, and without even looking at the target, I let my arrow fly.

And split his right down the middle.

"You have to connect with your arrow" I said, turning and walking away. I'm sure Reven caught the angry expression on my face, "I didn't yell" I said, "But you can go play peacekeeper"

Fenris-

I didn't have the energy to be mad. Vaguely impressed, I managed, but not annoyed or intimidated. I picked up another arrow, but my hand cramped when I went to notch it and I dropped it on the ground. When I bent to get it, I stumbled and just flopped down onto my knees, and was too sore to get up just then. Sighing, I just laid down in the grass and looked up at the sky. It felt like it should look different now, but it was irritatingly the same.

((I've shot a bow and arrow before :3 it was so cool. I felt like Robin Hood))

Reven-

I frowned when Izabelle finally came back to me, after I'd been looking for her for a little while. "What do you mean?" I asked, worried. "What did you do?"

Izabelle-

"Nothing," I sighed, laying back on the bed, "I just shot an arrow, okay?" So not as bad as he was thinking it was. "And I just split his, because he wasn't listening and knows nothing"

Reven

I frowned and started to get to my feet. "Izabelle, I know that tone and it has not ever meant nothing. What did you say to him?"

((Oh gosh, I'm laughing. You have no idea how many conversations I had with either Bella or Izzy that were JUST like this, "What did you do NOW?"))

Izabelle-

I flung my hands up, "I just shot an arrow and told him he was doing it wrong! Go ask him yourself!"

((lol Sounds like trouble))

Reven

I groaned quickly and shook my head, running a hand through my hair. "God, Iz - You can't just leave anything well alone, can you? It doesn't matter if he wants to do it wrong, he . . ." I sighed. "Were his hands shaking? Think hard. You know how to look. How tight was his jaw?" He was hurt. His muscles had to be sore. At least his back, and your back was very important when shooting arrows.

((Trouble comes in pairs!))

Izabelle-

I groaned and set my lips in a straight line, "He was still doing it wrong!" I crossed my arms and walked across the room, "I was just trying to help!"

((I shot a bow and arrow once. It was disastrous))

Reven

I sighed and just looked at her calmly. "Izabelle, your version of help is sometimes like teaching a person to read by shoving their face into a book. If you would like to help someone, they must be willing to receive said help. I know you hate Uncle Favian's lessons, but sometimes it pays to listen." And now all he could think of was that maybe they would never get back to hear those lessons ever again. He had to keep working on a plan.

((I did too and it was the greatest thing ever :3 The targets were framed with pvc pipes and my friend shot an arrow into one hard enough it got stuck and we could hardly get it out lol It was awesome. My aim sucks but I felt like Robin Hood))

((Yeah! It was at Outdoor School in 8th grade and my PE teacher couldn't stop laughing at the fact that I suuucked. So I told him to go be a moving target. He stopped laughing))

Izabelle-

"Sorry" I mumbled, "But it's not like he's one to listen either". I ran my hands through my hair again, trying to calm my irritation. I wasn't good at patience. I was good at aiming, and striking.

((Nice. I took a lesson with my friend and my mom, and we were all sort of equal in aim I think))

Reven

I just nodded and settled in with a book I'd managed to beg out of someone some hours ago. "Then he ceases to be your problem anymore. We have to focus on the matters at hand." I was hardly even reading. The only reason I'd requested it was to get an idea of anything cultural I might be able to use here.

((Sounds like fun! At least the bow and arrow went better then the rifle experience. . . I kinda shot down a lil tree the big scary guy had been growing for a long time))

Izabelle-

I sighed, and went to the window, resting on the window sill. I could see Fenris from here, and the first thought in my head was that he'd had a heart attack of some sort. But he threw his arms up, in frustration. Guess I didn't kill him.

((Oh GOD O_O What idiot in their right mind would put a FIREARM in YOUR hands?))

Reven

I glanced over when Izabella took a seat, watching out the window. It wasn't really hard to guess what she was looking at, or who. "Don't stare, Iz," I mumbled half heartedly. "'S rude."

((Outdoor School rifle man. He was maaaaaaad.))

Izabelle-

"I wa- Humph". How'd he even guess?! Brothers. . . "What're you reading?" I asked, glancing over. Maybe they'd have their own kind of fairytales. I'd enjoy reading those.

Reven

I sighed. "Some sort of fiction novel I'm trying to understand. It's not much help, but it wasn't as if they would give me science, history, or magic just yet. I'm working on it."

Izabelle-

I nodded, only half listening. Reven was the reader of the family, I was more of an action person. "What's it about?" I liked it more when Reven's voice would paint the letters, and I didn't have to worry about silly letters getting in the way.

Reven

"It's about a peasant boy," I said, glancing over at her, "That has to travel very far, very alone, to find a cure for what ails his sick mother."

Izabelle-

"Mmm," I mumbled, closing my eyes and leaning my head against the frame of the window to let the sun stroke my face.

"Do you think Mother and Father are worried yet?"

Reven

I sighed quietly and shut the book, a finger marking my place, because I didn't feel like I was getting much out of it for now. "I don't know that they would even have heard we were missing yet, unless Rallek went to warn -" I blinked, a thought occurring to me, and sat up. "Where is Rallek? He was with us when we were caught."

Izabelle-

I sat up too fast, and almost fell off the window sill as I met his eyes, "Oh Heavens!"

They wouldn't eat him, would they?!

Reven-

I sat up quickly and got to my feet, grabbing my shoes to put on. "D-Don't worry. He's got to be around somewhere, yes? They couldn't hide him very well - he's too big. We'll just go and ask. He's very precious to us, they'll have to understand." They'd been nice to us so far. So long as we didnt leave, they were nice to us. They had no reason to hurt Rallek.

Izabelle-

I followed quickly after him, almost stumbling over my own feet. Our hurried steps echoed down the hall. Soon, we ran into the beautiful woman. She bent towards us in a motherly way, "You were wondering of your pet, young ones?"
