Aye, I think perhaps as a idea for the IC. The Pirate captain manages to break free from the harpoons connecting the two ships together, stranding the boarding party. Now in order for us to not be.. overwhelmed we need to retake the helm at the bridge, secure the engine room so they can't simply disable it.. and make sure the magazine isn't sabotaged as a last act of defiance in case the pirates become desperate.

Well, in essence, during the next mook fight, firebomb hits the bridge so it's ordered cut by necessity. I don't think it's too much a stretch.
