Whatever character development Xu'Orz gets in Shadow Dojo of the Shadow Ninja will be wasted, since it will be non canon upon it's completion. Though, I might start the reboot early when we're done with Formic Apocalypse.

Middle images are the Soldiers/Workers, large, imposing, robust, and a high pain tolerance.
Bottom images are the messengers, subordinates of the Queens, used to transmit information over large distances, fast and agile.

A little bit of thinking later, I came up with a eureka moment.

In the Reboot, I vow to scrap the "Formic" concept and replace the Plantera with those bug aliens whose images I have shown here. Any thoughts?

That would be cool. Would they just be a bug race, or a flying bug race? And also would they still have the telepathic communications? Scrapping the Formic idea may be best, as we already have one alien race that’s chaotic and wants death.

Well, to be fair, for the Formics, I wanted to try and make them more sympathetic, as opposed to the Roborg. Also, yes, they will fly and telepathically communicate.
