Kalena walked into the classroom and almost immediately regretted doing so as the elderly male teacher gasped and clutched his heart in pain. The man staggered backwards and fell, convulsing as he went into cardiac arrest.


"Shit" Kalena swore, rushing over to the old man. She straddled him as she planted her hands firmly on his chest and closed her eyes, trying desperately to heal him and repair the damage she'd done.


His heart stopped.


"..." Kalena's eyes opened and she stared down at him in disbelief. Barely aware of the chaos that the classroom she'd interrupted had descended into.

Tasuke stood outside, leaning against the wall. The couple of days weren't really up yet, but he noticed her walk into the class, he also followed the trail of drooling men outside it. He let out a quiet sigh, he tried not to draw any attention so if she ran out wouldn't notice. He whispered to himself;

Mahiro looked towards him and grinned again, "Going so soon?" He turned on his side and leaned his chin on his hand. "I was almost sure you were gonna go for a second round." He teased, matter of fact was he probably wouldn't be able to handle a second round himself.

Vex sat on the bed beside him, observing Mahiro. "Mm...that's a tempting offer, but I don't think you could handle another round just yet." He was looking at his neck with a smirk, before he leaned down and lightly kissed it, temporarily taking the pain away.

The kiss was soothing, it completely nullified the pain as he kissed him back. Mahiro didn't say anything, he didn't want to admit it, but Vex was right.

She couldn't hear the screaming and shouting of those in the class. She wasn't aware that many of them were running out of the classroom. Some in an attempt to get help, others just to let someone know that Kalena had killed their teacher, or just in a hurry to get away from it.


"Shit..." Kalena repeated, running a hand through her red hair. The guy had never done anything to her. She didn't even know his name. But he was dead because she'd walked into the room. It wasn't her fault, not really, but she felt the weight of it. Killing in combat was one thing but this was horrific to her.

"I didn't mean to... He just collapsed... His heart just gave out..." Kalena's gaze hadn't left that of the dead man's. She reached out hesitantly and closed his eyelids for him.


"I didn't mean to..." she murmured again, tears in her eyes. This was just wrong. All of it. This wasn't even her class as far as she knew.


"I'm not like you..." Kalena whispered, not having meant to say it aloud. She couldn't understand how anyone could enjoy taking a life. What pleasure could possibly be derived from extinguishing all of someone's tomorrows?

Tasuke lifted her off him delicately and carried her again, "No you're not...That's a good thing. It's not your fault." He walked out of the classroom and towards his dorm, he didn't look at her, now wasn't the time for that. He walked into his dorm and sat her down on the bed, he then walked into the kitchen to put the kettle on.
