Layla nubbed on the bun, only to take it into her own grasp and fall onto her back. She enjoyed the bun, which didn't take that long for her to finish it before she sat back up and faced him.

Kalena listened, her hand over her mouth as she put down the hot chocolate slowly.


"That's... that's horrible..." she shuddered. She couldn't blame him for killing his Father one bit. Kalena didn't have a family but she knew that it wasn't meant to be like that.


"I'm so sorry that happened to you..." Kalena put her arms around him and pulled him into a close embrace. A delicate kiss was placed on his cheek. No one should have to go through what he had.

Tasuke felt a warmth come over him, he smiled and snuggled with her, he shuffled closer and wrapped his arms around her. "It's not your fault..." He pulls away slightly and looks into her eyes, but he didn't say anything, he was going to... but he didn't.

"Horatio didn't deserve to die and he died because of me, that makes it my fault" Kalena said quietly as she snuggled close to Tasuke again. She was ignoring the fact that he was a murderer right now. She just wanted to be held. She just wanted to be held by him.

Rosalin and Colten stopped as they suddenly saw a crowd of students leaving a classroom and heading down the hallway, catching pieces of conversation about an old man having a heart attack. "What the hell..?" Colten muttered. It was only their first day and the school had become some sort of crime scene. Shortly after they saw a stretcher which held a body-resembling figure covered with a white sheet, being carried by officials. "Well...That just happened." Rosalin breathed, already getting over the shock. "The old man couldn't take another day putting up with these brats." Colten remarked with a sly little chuckle. They were both rather used to death, especially Rosalin being a ghost.

Tasuke hugged her back, one of his hands on the back of her head the other on her back. It was a nice and passionate hug, he felt much better and he hoped that she would as well. There was nothing more he could say concerning the old man, he didn't know what else to say, being a murderer he didn't think he would be able to help. He wanted the best for Kalena over himself, which wasn't like him.

Tasuke whispers into her ear, "I'm sorry for everything, I don't want to lose you, being away from you hurt. I-I just wish I could change in a flash, because I would. For you." Tasuke actually started to tear up, they ran down his cheeks as he broke down as they were hugging.

The kiss was soothing, it completely nullified the pain as he kissed him back. Mahiro didn't say anything, he didn't want to admit it, but Vex was right.

Vex faked surprise,"no witty comeback? I can't say I'm a fan of this silence." The smirk was still plastered on his face as he looked at him,"no, not a fan. I rather liked it when you were making noises."


Cerin crawled into Soren's lap after a little while of sitting in silence. He rested his head against his brothers chest and fell asleep.

Kalena was surprised by his reaction and wasn't sure what to do or what to say. She pulled him closer, holding him as she kissed the top of his head.


"Hey... it'll be okay..." she said softly. She didn't really believe that. She wanted to though. She wanted to think that somehow all of this would work out.

Mahiro frowned and looked away. "Shut up." He then appeared behind vex and bent him over the bed, he leaned over and whispered into his ear "We could go another round and swap roles if you like, though for some reason I don't think you'd like that."

Tasuke hugged her tightly, he calmed himself down. He let out a big sigh, "Thank you Kalena." He closed his eyes and rested his head against her.

Kalena didn't answer, she just held him and enjoyed being held in return. She shouldn't be thinking so deeply about what could or what might happen. It wasn't at all like her. Living in the present was important to her. Although sometimes you had to put to bed the past first. Which meant doing something about Horatio right now.

"Let's be serious here," Vex dropped into their shadow and appeared behind him, grabbing Mahiro's hands and pinning them behind his head as he gently shoved his face into the bed; using his own trick against him. "I'm only a catcher on special occasions."

Tasuke eventually parted from the hug and stood up, he wiped his eyes and cheeks quickly and looked down at Kalena, "Are you finished with your chocolate?" He reached his hand out gesturing to the mug.

Mahiro growled and wrapped his legs around one of Vex's tripping him so he'd fall to the ground, he then teleported on top of him and smirked, "Or if you're forced too."

"Hmm? Oh yeah... yeah. Thanks" Kalena had pretty much completely forgotten about the now cold chocolate. Her thoughts were on other things, like Horatio being dead and Tasuke being very much alive and not at all psycho-like. She just couldn't see it. Or maybe she just didn't want to see it.

"That was actually supposed to be my next class." Rosalin remarked, staring at the room. "Oh well. I guess its a bit too late for that now. Shall we go down to the restaraunt across the street?"


"Are you sure telepathy isn't one of your abilities?" Colten replied as they exited the building.

They entered the resturant, the doors' bell chiming. As the waited in line Colten took it as an opportunity to pick-pocket the person ahead of him as that person flirted with the employee, while making casual conversation with Rosalin to further throw off any suspicion.

Tasuke took the mug into the kitchen, he poured the chocolate into the sink and washed the mug out before placing it on the side. He eventually walked back in, suddenly he remembered the paper list of targets scatter on the floor on the other side of the bed, he looked at Kalena, his face was straight. For the moment. He tried to think of something, "Want to go get a bite to eat?" As he spoke he inched to the side aiming to get around the bed.

Ritora sat down on the bench outside, reading what appeared to be a VERY boring book. She had been eating a cinnamon bun, but had gotten absorbed in the book so it was just hanging out of her mouth. Setting down the book and sluggishly chewing on the cinnamon bun, she scanned the courtyard slowly, waiting for something.
