Juri arrives at school shy and nervous. She was covering her face hoping no to be seen by anyone. She slowly walks through the entrance.

Tasuke let the people run out, He peaked through the door and Saw Kalena over the dead man, his eyes became soft at the sight of her and he was sad. He walked in the classroom slowly and crouched down next to her, placing his hand on her back soothingly. He then leaned closer and spoke into her ear;
"Lets go. You need to rest."

Kalena was still numb from the shock of what she'd done and so didn't bother protesting as he carried her to his room. She wasn't sure how she felt about anything much right now. Especially not about him being here now.


She hugged herself as she was sat on the bed, watching him leave the room. She hadn't meant to. She'd tried to save him. She still felt dreadful. She'd killed a teacher. An old man that might have a wife and kids and grandchildren.... She didn't even know his name and now he was dead.


"What was his name...?" she asked quietly, hoping Tasuke would be able to tell her. It seemed important to know for some reason.

Tasuke came back with a mug of Hot Chocolate, "I hope you like it." He passes it to her before sitting down next to her, running his hand through his hair. "His name was Horatio. And before you ask, no he doesn't have a family, he was going to die pretty soon anyway." He looked down, remembered his face from his list and then looked at Kalena, "You didn't kill him, don't blame yourself, it wasn't you. Remember that."

"Horatio..." Kalena murmured and sighed, holding her hot chocolate and staring at it. She didn't try and drink any. The fact that he didn't have any family... It didn't make it better. Would anyone even miss him? That prospect seemed worse now she thought about it.


"I did kill him... I shouldn't have been in that lesson..." she shook her head. She wasn't going to stop blaming herself for his death, even if it hadn't really been her fault.


"I couldn't save him..."

 

[Mashiro Shiina]

"Food." Layla stuck her tongue out, licking his hand. She was really craving a bun, and hoped he would hurry and catch her drift.

...†Akira smiled and stood up. He walked downstairs and picked up some buns and some meat from the bag of groceries he had bought. He made his way back up and sat them on the dresser. He spoke as he attempted to placed her on his bed†...





" There they are. Now you'll have to get up, it's cold on the floor. "

"Horatio..." Kalena murmured and sighed, holding her hot chocolate and staring at it. She didn't try and drink any. The fact that he didn't have any family... It didn't make it better. Would anyone even miss him? That prospect seemed worse now she thought about it.
"I did kill him... I shouldn't have been in that lesson..." she shook her head. She wasn't going to stop blaming herself for his death, even if it hadn't really been her fault.


"I couldn't save him..."

"You didn't. Your intention was not to kill, it wasn't, you can't be faulted." Tasuke couldn't help but chuckle, it was a mocking chuckle, it was soothing, "Horatio wouldn't blame you, if you want. Blame me. I killed him, I will take you pain from you and lock it within my body." Tasuke rested his forehead on her shoulder, "I just want to see you smile at me again."

 

[Valkyre]

"No offense, but he died of a heart attack and you're not that good looking" Kalena managed a small smile and held her hot chocolate a little closer, feeling the stream rise up against her face. Blaming Tasuke for a crime he didn't commit seemed silly to her, even if she was trying to get away with it, there were far too many witnesses in that class. There'd be no point.

Tasuke looks up and smiles at her, "Oh please. I'm so sexy." He looks forward, his heart was racing for some reason, he didn't know what else to say for the moment. So he gave her the opportunity to speak first and gather herself, his head was filled with many thoughts after all.

"I should see if I can find him and apologise..." Kalena murmured, although she wasn't overly keen on the idea. She didn't much like the spirit world and going there... She always felt like she might get stuck and wouldn't make it back to Earth. She rather liked being alive.


It did seem like the right thing to do though. She had killed him, intentionally or not.

Tasuke shakes his head, "You might regret that." he spoke as if he had experience, "Whether he be angry with you or not, either way it could still break you. I wouldn't like to see that happen to you Kalena."

 

[Mashiro Shiina]

Layla blew her breath, finally pulling herself up off the floor. "Food." Layla immediately reached for the bag of food.

...†Akira gave up and sat on a chair that was directly across from his bed. He looked at her and smiled slightly. He spoke as he did so†...


" You're gonna catch a cold if you keep laying on the floor like that. "

Layla glanced at him for a few moments, before finally allowing clothing to appear on her body. "Feed me?" Layla crawled over to the edge of the bed, awaiting for his response.

"Don't I owe him that much though? An apology? I took his life..." Kalona looked at Tasuke, it was the first time she'd really done so since her telling him to wait a few days. So much for that one.


"I'll be fine. I'm stronger than you think" she said firmly and took a sip of the hot chocolate which was no longer so much hot as warm.

"It's up to you in the end. I don't think it's something I'd want to do now." Tasuke looked at her back, "Just when and if you do, talk to me."

 

[Valkyre]

"Sooner is better than later. It gets pretty hard to find anyone once they've been there for a while" Kalena thought to herself. She couldn't help thinking that Tasuke really didn't know what he was talking about. He enjoyed killing people and she couldn't understand that feeling.


"Why do you... how do you..." Kalena whispered but couldn't finish the sentence. She wasn't sure she really wanted to know.

 

[OctopusTechnician]

Colten hopped off the taxi as he and his cousin Rosalin reached their stop. They still had to walk about a to get to their apartment, though fortunately it was only about a ten minutes walk away. Colten strode down the sidewalk, Rosalin trailing behind him, levitating their bags.


--Ten Minutes Later--


Once they organized all their belongings, or rather once Rosalin organized everything while Colten laid on the couch eating his gross fried octopus tentacles, they left to tour Dax's Fantasy Highschool. There was something comforting about being around others who are in the same freak-fest as you. It didn't take long before they both became hopelessly lost, though neither wanted to admit that they didn't really know what they were doing.

Tasuke heard what she said, when he wanted to listen, he could hear whispers such as this, "I guess I could tell you my past, I will tell you my past, though you may still not understand." Tasuke leans back on his hands, looking up to the ceiling, "It all started when I lived with my Parents and my Twin Brother. We weren't really the happiest family, my Father used to abuse us every day, he raped my mother and made me and my brother bleed if we were to so much as to look at him for a couple of seconds. One day he tried to... do things to me and I snapped, I slit his throat with a piece of Ice and I was drenched in his blood. It was good watching him die, it made me feel much better, and now every time I kill someone or hurt them. I see a reflection of him in their eyes and it makes me feel good."
