Noah gave a small frown and sighed softly "We'll talk about it later okay? Just...let me get settled." He murmured kissing the top of her head "You been good for your Aunt Max?"

Max gave a small nod and smiled "Yeah I think we both do." She murmured before getting her to sit down for a moment "Take a second to decompress okay? It'll help, trust me."

She nodded and frowned over at Keaton. “Yeah I was. Are you sure we can’t send keaton back?” She asked him. “He stayed in my room last night. He’s so annoying.”
She muttered.

She took a deep breath and nodded slowly. “I need a drink. But not if we’re gonna go to the store.” She smiled, getting up after a bit and grabbed her keys, heading up to get Keaton. “Hey you three, Keaton baby you gotta come with me to the store. Eden you gonna stay here with dad yeah?” She asked her nodding to her then Noah while she picked up her son and took him downstairs.

Noah chuckled a bit seeing Keaton was content in his own world "He loves his big sister. He was probably scared because me and your mom were both gone. He feels comfort from you." He explained to her. He looked up when Carmen came in and smiled some "Love you babe, we'll call if we need anything."

Max smiled and gathered Rory and Iris as well. She helped them out to the car and smiled seeing Iris and Keaton running to the car holding hands "They're too cute. Keaton kept telling me how happy he was to have his best friend here and Iris keeps thanking me for coming out here."

She smiled and shook her head. “They’re gonna be pains in our back sides when they’re teenagers. I can feel it.” She laughed. “Rory looks more like his dad every day.” She smiled, going to get the kids buckled in and drove off.

Eden frowned a little, watching them go and waited til they were gone before talking again. “When you and mom talked to me. When I got us in trouble with the game…. It sounded like you were in a hospital.” She told him, frowning at the bed sheets

Max laughed some and nodded "Oh yeah they are." She said before giving a small sigh "His damn twin almost....his personality is very similar too." She murmured quietly before getting in the car with her and the kids.

Noah sighed heavily and nodded some "Yeah...I uh...I had a heart attack. I was coming off stage and I collapsed. Uncle Nick took me to the hospital. I had another one while I was in there, thats why it took longer to get home. I've got to see a specialist to see what our next steps are to make sure it doesn't happen again." He explained to her.

She frowned and looked at him clearly worried. “Are you gonna die?” She asked him scared and held onto him tightly. “Like Rory’s dad?” She asked hum.

She smiled and shook her head. “These damn kids ending up like their fathers.” She nudged her a little and headed out, keeping a super close eye on the little two while they were at the store, letting all of them pick out the snacks they wanted but made sure the main food she was getting was stuff they had told her Noah needed to be eating,

Noah shook his head some "No princess I'm going to be okay. I'm going to be sick for a bit, but the specialists are going to help me get better." He explained quietly not having the heart to tell her about the heart failure "I'm not going to tour anymore either, so from now on I'm going to be home."

She nodded and just hugged his arm tightly, getting up after a bit to go find the cats though and stayed in her room until the others got back

Carmen got the groceries put away and headed up to check on Noah, smiling as she found him just finishing off the statement. “Hey, we’re back. You think you’re gonna join us downstairs or you want me to bring you dinner tonight?” She asked him,

Noah gave her a small smile and sighed softly "I think I'll stay up here." He murmured quietly reaching for her hand "I talked with Eden....didn't tell her about the possible failure, but did tell her everything else. I think she needs some hugs." He whispered

She nodded and sighed a little, “alright…. I got some of her favorite snacks. She’s at that age now, she doesn’t miss a thing.” She sighed a little, pecking his cheek and lifted his bag onto the bed. “Shower tonight. I think we still have that shower chair in the garage…. Alright. Let me go check on her.” She smiked, “your switch is in your bag.” She told him, heading to Edens room and knocked gently before going in, “hey baby, I thought I’d bring the snacks I got for you in here so you don’t end up having to share these ones…. You okay? You wanna talk about what happened with dad?” She asked her, sitting next to her on the floor, hugging her tight when she moved to lean against Carmen.

Eden just moved to lean against her shaking her head some "He's lying isn't he? He's going to die....just like Rory's dad.." she whimpered before bursting into tears "I don't want him to die!"

She shook her head and rocked her gently “no baby no I’m not letting that happen okay? Your dad is gonna be around for a long long time yet j promise.” She told her kissing her head. “Look at me Eden. It’s gonna be okay I promise.” She told her, kissing her head. “Have I ever shown you the video I took when I told your dad that I was pregnant with you?” She asked her once she’d calmed down a little.

Eden took a deep breath and shook her head some "No....you've never shown me it." She murmured as she sniffled a bit. She smiled widely as she watched it and giggled some "He was really happy huh?"

She nodded and kissed her head again. “Your uncle Nick used to tease him about this video. Said he looks like the moon emoji…. And when you were born he was a superstar….. and when you were only six months old your dad was going through a really rough time. The only thing that could cheer him up was you. And when your uncle Keaton passed away, same thing again…. He’s not going anywhere baby.” She told her, kissing her head.

Eden sniffled and nodded softly "Okay...I believe you." She whispered before getting up "Whats for dinner?"

She smiled and got Eden to help her stand, “Well I’ve got options. Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken nuggets or chicken salad.” She told her. They’d spent years working out what food Eden could eat and she felt like she finally had a grip on all of it. “Who told you that you were allowed to get taller?” She smiled, kissing her head and took her downstairs to go get started on food. “Oh I know that look.” She smiled at max as they got to the kitchen, seeing her smiling at her phone. “What’s the text say?” She asked

Max looked up from her phone and smiled some "Oh nothing....I just told him yes to a date and he was just saying he was excited. Plus that he hopes my time here is going good." She explained before placing her phone down "Right, so what can I do to help with dinner?"

She smiled and shook her head. “Yeah yeah nothing, blush on your face says different.” She laughed. “Well kids are gonna have spaghetti and meatballs so just keep an eye on the spaghetti. We’re gonna have salad or if you want spaghetti too that’s cool. Noah’s gonna stay upstairs. Not feeling up to coming down yet.”

Max laughed lightly and smiled a bit "There may or may not have been a post gym selfie included." She said before starting the water for the pasta "I hope he gets to feeling better enough soon." Shw murmured

She smiled and shook her head, “god why do they stop putting in the effort after a certain time? Cause all I get is pictures of ingrown hairs on his chin he’s complaining about or he needs his nails doing…. Tried sending me a couple dick pics until Eden almost saw them and I made him stop.” She muttered, rolling her eyes. She spent the evening relaxing with her and the kids, eventually getting her two in bed and went to see Noah, “you wanna shower or do that tomorrow?” She asked him, stripping down to take a shower herself.

Noah gave her a small smile and nodded some "Yeah I think I can handle a shower. Just as long as you don't have it too steamy." He teased before kissing her cheek gently "Thank you for dinner, it was delicious."

She smiled and helped him up, just standing there with him for a moment and swaying a little. “Mmm you’re welcome…. What do you think about renewing our vows for our anniversary next month? Nothing too fancy, just a mini ceremony with some friends and maybe a cookout. Do the whole thing here?” She suggested, moving away only to go get the water going and make sure they had towels already out.

Noah gave a small smile and nodded "Yeah I think thats a good idea, you and Eden could go find some dresses too. I think she'd like that." He said softly before moving slowly to follow her into the shower once it was ready.

She smiled a little and stood with him under the water, “how are you feeling now?” She asked him. They knew that the six hour drive home was gonna take it out of him alittke but she was hoping it would wear off.

Noah sighed some and gave a small shrug "Tired, just really tired." He murmured softly
