would i roll a normal chance to hit (7 or above) and if it lands, it automatically grabs? im assuming the enemy would make a STR check and we would make a similar STR (or ECH, if the move restrains via magic like telekinesis or something) if they want to escape? what i mean is, if the enemy tries to escape the enemy and the player would roll a d20, add modifiers, and whoever gets the highest wins (or some such result)?
You'd roll a regular attacking roll for grabbing. Anything 10 or above is a hit for a grab, unless successfully dodged. They can't be guarded against, however. They would escape using STR or ECH rolls, yes.
Depending on STR or ECH, you can get hit bonuses for grabs.ah, its a 10 and not a 7 or up? fair enough - allow me to quickly change my post (i think the Falcon would've failed the grab.) or, does modifiers come into play with it?

Joseph can attempt to dodge all of the spam mail, as it's technically a rapid-fire attack. It would take up two actions, since both files are attacking, though.
Sure, for now, until battle comes once again.i assume we're out of initiative and are able to interct whenever we like (as opposed to a certain order)?

The javelin ammo spawning is just a game mechanic; to truly reward you for eliminating threats or doing something important. Not really a plot point.
Oh, that's good! I was worried I was making Narancia a bit OP, but I'm glad that's not the case. I'll get to work on those changes when I can.GinkyGotBack
Surprisingly so for a JoJo character so far, Narancia seems pretty balanced.
Though the machine gun's accuracy should probably be 10/20 instead, because if it hits, it's equivalent to firing a big rifle, since all the bullets hit the target.
And the bomb's proximity damage should be 12,000 - 7,500 instead, but its direct impact damage is fine.
Oh, also... you might want to make all the special attacks once per turn. They seem really darn powerful.Oh, that's good! I was worried I was making Narancia a bit OP, but I'm glad that's not the case. I'll get to work on those changes when I can.
Will do, when I get the chanceOh, also... you might want to make all the special attacks once per turn. They seem really darn powerful.
would anyone like to do a duo character? as in, we both pick characters from the same fandom with relations already established (whether good or bad) and work from there?
