Fandom Fairy Tail: The Era of Dragons IC

I stand in the middle of The forest Looking around and taking in the view of the plants and tree before moving onward to the entrance of the town I was headed too,
I headed into the town and walked along the streets of the town looking around until I faintly smell the scent of food and not eating in days cause I was traveling I decided to follow it until I reached that of a pub, Smelling the food I started to drool with the same emotionless face I have on my face usually. As I enter it I see a variety of different people, alot of them seemed to pique my interests and I walk up to a women in armor with blond hair and what i assume is a knight's style armor, I then sit next to her and look at her with my blank emotionless face and the speak with the same emotionless voice I always have "Hello Miss I assume your strong right" I seem to half her height and looking abit childish compared to her.

Anne leaned away from the apparently older woman in slight shock and tried to ignore the fact that she didn't even look like she was in her twenties. Of course, she had no room to judge, because she shared the exact same trait, but that was besides the point. "... Noted. So anyway..." With a smile, she picked up an Egg and showed it off despite knowing she was already looking straight at one. "Small gems, designed wit' science, can do what magic can do, albeit slightly chemically unstable and maybe a lil' high-maintenance. Also they absorb livin' things ta work. Livin' things 'f yer choice, obviously. Ya pull this here pin..." Anne pulled the star-shaped pin from the violet Egg in her fingers, and the small patches of grass that sprouted through the stone roads immediately wilted. Upon putting the pin back on, she activated its magical powers, and the other blonde would find she felt much more lightweight.
"This particular one can play 'round wit' gravity. Gravity. I'd keep all'o these things if I wasn't tryna sell'em off. Lemme see that one fer a second?" Anne set the gravity Egg on the table and grabbed the steel-gray one from the other girl's hands. It began to glow, and from light appeared a long and thin rocket with a halberd's blade at its tip. "Rocket halberds. Jus' one step above gravity manipulation. Sure you ain't interested in lookin' around a while longer? See if ya can't find somethin' even better than... these?" She had to admit, she was jealous that such Eggs didn't exist when the first generation came around.

After spending sometime with the girls he brought upstairs, Noah was left sitting at the edge of the bed with two girls in his bed covered up with a blanket. He stood up and began to get dressed in his same attire. After tying his hair in a ponytail he proceeded towards the door, but stopped just before opening the door. He figure if he returned those two girls from before would attack him again, which would end up being a four way battle between the girls and Garrett and him. So to simply lessen the chance of that happening, he simply left through the window. He opens the windows and hops out levitating up into the air and onto the next building across from the pub. He lands and looks back at the pub. "Don't worry baby I'll be back for you." He said referring to the wine within the building. He turned back around and continued on his way. Noah leapt from building to building with no certain destination in mind. He allowed fate to play his course and of course as he did, someone from his past appeared.
Stopping on top of a rooftop to examine the scenery he noticed a familiar red haired male walking the streets. "First Garrett and now Luca, looks like the band is getting back together." He said to himself with a grin. At first Noah thought he should go and say what's up, but that's a bit boring for a greeting to his old friend. So instead Noah thought attacking him would be better. "Heads up Luca." He said to himself. Noah leapt from the rooftop and into the air above Luca, where he plans on landing on him with his body. LeSoraAmari LeSoraAmari

City of Dunlayn - Near the pub.

Having now walked for a fair amount of time, taking in the sights and smells of this beautiful city. Dunlayn was one of the many gems of human civilisation, humanities longing for freedom and survival had seemingly encrusted itself onto the surface of the earth. It was a great feeling, seeing what he was seeing, and Luca was gladdened by seeing people go about their daily lives with their families, their friends. "Man, it sure is nice here." He said, quietly to himself, hands rested in his pockets as Luca continued to wander the streets aimlessly. The red headed male continued to walk on until he saw a pub in his sights, no doubt it'd be teeming with people; drunken louts and some fine women. The perfect place to go for some action, the catalyst for a perfect night of pure fun. Luca was curious as well, his mind was still fixated on one question, what in the hell happened last night? Perhaps the pub would yield some answers. "I could do with a drink, especially after that crazy bird with the big rack rejected me. Ah well..." Hand on his chin, he began to think about his current situation as he approached the pub slowly.

However, before Luca could enter the pub, a familiar magical signature loomed above him. Easily identifiable, a huge wolffish grin smeared across the red heads face as he spoke, "Noah!". Luca looked skyward to see the Djiin Mage descending towards him rapidly, obviously intending to catch him off guard. Waving a hand, a purple and green haze of magic shrouded both Luca and Noah, before they switched places in seconds. Noah, now stood on the ground, with Luca descending downwards and towards the other member of his group. One of his best friends. In fact, everyone in that group were exceptionally close, perhaps close enough to be called brothers. Even if they stole their broads from under their noses like Alex did. Green and purple magic swirled around Luca's fists as he descended down towards Noah. That same grin on his face.

"Long time no see, pal! It'll take more than that to catch me off guard. I thought you would've known that by now. Maybe you really don't know me well enough, eh?"

To others, this would seem as though they were purposely antagonising each other. While that might've been slightly true, it was simply bonding between two old friends.

Christina said nothing as 3D commented on the rowdy bunch in the pub, continuing to eat her fries before she placed her fork down and began to pull off her gloves and place them on her lap, exposing her delicate-looking hands as she reached for her sandwich and brought it to her lips, taking a bite and placing it back down upon her plate. Tina reached for a napkin on the edge of the table and wiped her fingers off, listening to 3D's words. The last thing she wanted was to really talk, but, she supposed she had no choice. Though the question he asked had gained her attention and caused her to lift her head to look at him. I always believed that there was something beyond death. I could never think that it was just a void. she thought to herself We live in a far better place when we die. We're in peace. No troubles, no sadness, just pure happiness. At least 3D was hoping that there was something like that after death and not just something...blank. Just as he made her pick a subject, she shook her head "No, this is a fine subject."
she commented, "Death doesnt spoil the mood. It's rather a realistic topic." she admitted.

Tina pursed her lips in thought, elbows coming to rest on the table to support her chin with fingers interlaced with one another "I dont wonder, I believe that there is a life after death." she admitted "People have to go somewhere after they die, it's not like they float inside an endless void for all eternity." not that she would know that since she was alive but that's what she was taught to believe in. Life even after death. Pulling her chin off her hands, she went on ahead and continued to eat. 3D replied to her but she said nothing in reply, just focusing mainly on her food. Which by the way, tasted great and would definitely come back another day to eat. Taking her napkin, she gently wiped her lips and her hands before picking up her glass and drinking the remaining water that had been left. After that, she placed the glass back down and slipped her gloves back on.

That was very satisfying. At least im no longer starving. and luckily she wouldnt have to be embrassed about a loud grumbling stomach anymore. Reaching to her side, she pulled out a small pouch and opened it, reaching inside and pulling out a few jewel and placing it on the table "Here." she didnt need the feeling of oweing him later. Best to take care of things by herself "Thanks for showing me this place. We'll meet again, i'm sure." under... different circumstances she was sure. With that, she made her way towards the exit of the wizard-filled pub and avoided bumping into someone walking in as she walked out. Better to be outside than inside.

Remilia took one look at the, then at the halberd. Her eyes suddenly sparkled in excitement at the prospect of a pole weapon for her to use.Her hands were a blur as she snatched the egg thing from the girl's hands and replaced it with Jewels. "I want this one." She announced happily. "I've been looking for a neat pole weapon that I don't have to worry about losing." She said, experimentally creating one of the rocket halberds and giving it a few swings to test it's weight. "Yep, it's perfect!"

Remilia's eyes flickered downwards. "So uh...what's up with the money under one of the eggs? Does one of them make money or something?" She asked, pointing at a lot of Jewel neatly pinned down by another egg.

3D was genuinely surprised that Tina had chosen to keep talking about death. Death was just one of the many topics that people didn't want to talk about unless confronted with it, with Activities Brought About By Lust being another. Talking about death didn't make 3D uncomfortable in any way, he was already dead after all. He listened to what she had to say. "Yeah. If we did float in an endless void for all eternity I'd be sorely disappointed. All that buildup in life for nothing." He attempted to joke while adding some truth to how he would feel if that were the case.

"Here." She had placed some money on the table. "Thanks for showing me this place. We'll meet again, I'm sure." Dmitri Desolous Deathchap watched a new friend leave to go about her own business. 'What did she mean by that?' He thought, wondering why her words sounded a tinge foreboding to him. With his companion gone he quickly finished his food, being careful to keep his face concealed, and sat in silence as his magic kept feeding on a curse. "Hmm...what do I do now?" He mumbled to himself as he took a look around the pub.

"THE NEXT ROUNDS ARE ON ME!" He roared loudly. Most of the patrons cheered at the prospect of free booze.

Just as he predicted Luca anticapted his attack and switched places with him. Noah grinned and initiated his Baal take over changing his appearance to a more dragonic form. "I knew you'll do something like that Luca. I've known you for far too long." He said with a grin and he turned towards looking preparing to clash fist with him. As Noah transformed into Baal, storm clouds began to form over the city. Lightning and thunder soon followed. LeSoraAmari LeSoraAmari

Cerebus VeronCerebus sighed happily as she walked through the streets, a bright smile on her face as she carried a bag of food on her arm. Of course she was dressed in her normal revealing attire, really it was the only kind of clothing she wore nowadays. Everyone knew who she was for the most part save for travelers, and if anything her outfit served as both comfort and advertising. She simply smiled to herself as her puppets looked around a bit on her hands, the girls ears twitching about at every little sound that was made. Finally she would reach her destination of the Red Lotus Inn, originally a famous Inn by design now turned into a even more famous brothel. Within the establishment were a grand selection of girls, all very beautiful and dressed in the same skimpy clothing, if not more so, than what she had on. It wasn't that late yet so there weren't very many patrons, but there were still a few and that was enough for her. At the very least it showed that business was still very much flowing. "Ahh. This place just gets better every time I see it~" She commented to herself, giggling as she looked around the room. In truth she came here everyday not only because she owned the place but for the same reason a lot of others did; she loved the scenery. Of course, most of said scenery was the beautiful women milling about, mingling with patrons or simply sitting around reading or such.

It was wonderful, mostly because she had to pay nothing at all. Of course it was technically free for anyone else to look...but she didn't have to pay if she wanted to do more than look either. Life was incredibly good. She walked off to the kitchen and dropped off the extra supplies followed by going to the front desk to check on the days profits, grinning as it was already a decent amount of jewel in the till. It wasn't anything amazing, several people only buying drinks while they mulled over if they wanted one of the girls to keep them company, but still. Money was money. She put the jewel away for now and sat down, propping her feet up on the desk. "Today's gonna be great guys, I can feel it~" She said, talking to both her puppets and any of the girls that were nearby. She got as relaxed and comfortable as she could be in the cushy leather front desk chair, sighing contentedly as she simply waited for anyone to stop by that was interesting enough for her to talk to.

The sun was smiling down brightly upon the glorious form of a man laying upon the edge of a cliff. He seemed to be laying on some kind of mat, with his arms propping his head up as he stared towards the vast open sky. He smiled, his dazzling white teeth reflecting the light of the sun. It was odd for someone to be all the way away from the town. What was he doing on the cliff?

Well soon he was up on his feet, rolling up his mat, and tossing it over his bare shoulders."Huh, guess it's time to move on. The view from here is great, but I'd hate to miss out on any hotties."The man said with a impish smile. Clearly excited at the idea,"hehe, okay so how shall I travel this time? So many fun ways with my powers. So long as it's not by one of those dreadful wheeled contraptions."
He shuddered at the thought, then looked towards the town. He put one hand on his hip, and another on his chin. Considering his options, then he decided he'd try flying. So he concentrated, focusing on the energy inside him. Then he inhaled deeply, causing the light from the sun to funnel into his mouth.

After noming on some of that sunny D, he turned to the edge of the cliff. Taking a runners stance, and preparing to take lift off. His entire body began glowing, he could feel the power coursing through his viens. He exhaled heavily, and then bolted off the cliff like a laser beam of pure light. He was floating for a bit, happily laughing as he glided across the air. But after a moment he began plummeting towards the ground. Screaming in horror as the ground seemed to grow larger, and larger. Until he was moments away from splattering against the ground. But of course being as clever as he was he prevented himself from becoming a ugly mess on the ground. He held his hands out screaming out like a wild man. Only for a burst of firey energy to erupt from the palms of his hand. The force of the blast lifting him up until he was hovering above the ground. The man blinked in amazement, shocked he wasn't food for the wild life right about now.

But he didn't question a good thing,"Wow this is amazing! I'm flying!"He cheered as he blasted off high into the air. He was having so much fun flying through the clouds, and soaking up the sun. That he didn't notice he was above the town already. He inhaled a deep breath, enjoying the freshness of the air. But soon the sky darkened, and the man found himself surrounded by dark fluffy monsters, aka storm clouds. The darkness wasn't his favorite thing in the world. He, absolutely hated it, you couldn't admire yourself in the dark. Plus it was scary, and confusing. The only thing he hated more was thunder, and lightning.

On que lightning filled the sky, causing the man to scream and drop his mat Which he had so carefully placed in his shoulder. Of course this was the last straw, although it was also the first one, but he didn't need anymore insentive."Stupid storm! You can't cover me up! I always shine through!!"Suddenly he began glowing, and a intense golden light began pouring off his form. The light broke through the clouds, and the man lowered himself to the ground. Of course he didn't realize he was in the town. So when he began boasting at the storm it may have seemed...A bit threatening. Anyone seeing him would feel as if the sun was standing before them. Incredible heat, and blinding light would hit them. Mitsuki's voice boomed, as if a giant was speaking from the large orb of light that hide his true form."Ha! Behold my mangificence! Shake in terror at the glory that is me! Pathetic fools! You cannot cover up the piercing radiance that is me! Now enter...."
Suddenly the light dimmered, the man smiled and stuck his tongue out, seeming mighty childish in comparison to moments ago.

"Mitsuki Yamada!"He cheered in victory, celebrating his defeat over the storm clouds. Then he noticed the hotties around him, a purple haired gypsie looking guy, and a red head, who looked like he had an attitude."Oh, hello boys! Did I interrupt?" He asked holding a hand up to his cheek, and leaning forward flirtatiously.

She looked to the jewel under a certain Egg with a golden sheen to it. It was possible, but her friends back at the base knew better than to cause an economic inflation. "Nope," she lied, grabbing the money and adding to what was already in her hand, "Jewel's tha one thing we can't create. We wouldn't even if we could. Well, anyway..."
Anne grinned to finally see someone who didn't complain about prices for the sake of complaining but instead appreciated what they were capable of. "Glad ta see yer satisfied, ma'am. If that's all, have a nice day!" She waved until the girl was out of sight, swept all of the leftover Eggs into a fancily woven basket onto the ground beside her, and untied the ribbon on her neck to let the jewel in her hand to fall into her shirt with clinking on the way down. She pulled a rope from the velvety blue canopy above her and matching curtains closed to keep the traveling shop dark. It wasn't until she walked through those curtains, her fair skin coming into contact with that yellow ball's light, that she realized how young the day still was and how little there was to be gained from stopping sales. The woman tied the ribbon back through the loops of her shirt and around her neck with a mental shrug. I got another few months 'ere. Funds can wait. Fun, however... After a day of a blind girl on a roof, a guy screaming and getting punched through buildings by an eerily familiar woman, and someone doing nude yoga on a balcony, Anne felt like she deserved a break. A break that might end up tiring her out more than helping her stay awake.

...

It didn't take long to come across a brothel thanks to the sheer size and... diversity of types of people across the town. The magical neon sign, which remained off during the day, read Red Lotus Inn despite the fact that on the sides of the building were depictions of poles, stages, and pinups. Maybe it was both. Maybe Anne had just hit the jackpot. Removing her foresleeves and tucking them into the back of her corset, she opened the grand doors and made her way into the dimly lit, restaurant-like room. The table areas, as expected, were very dimly lit. Thankfully that wasn't what she went there for. One look at the stages and the woman aggressively fanned herself. Of course there were half-naked, well-set women up there, and she appreciated that. But her eyes were focused on the one and only guy up there (for now). If it weren't for the desk and catgirl standing between him and her, she'd have observed him for every detail on his body. Disappointed by the fact that there were still payments to be made, Anne shifted her gaze to the other, sizing her up and hoping that she wasn't yet another middle-aged woman in the body of a teenager. At the very least, she had no class judging by the way she was sitting... Oh right. I'm in a whorehouse. "Good day, miss. Soo if I'm correct, this's both a brothel an' a inn. Which means I could theoretically stay a night, right? How much'd that be?" Her speech was perfect, but selling literal magic machines was a whole different business from purchasing pleasure, and it showed.

Cerebus VeronCerebus hummed softly as she heard someone open the door, peeking an eye open as she watched a short blonde girl come in and look around. She admittedly looked quite young, though in all honesty the girl didn't care if she was or not. She wore a grin on her face the entire time she watched her, particularly when she saw the stage and started fanning herself. Though she also seemed more interested in the male that currently had a cat girl clinging to him. She smirked and stretched a bit as she saw her walking over to her, smiling down at the girl as she started to speak to her. She chuckled softly as she asked if this was indeed an inn as well, and if she could stay the night. She hummed softly and leaned up, eyes scanning Anne slowly. "Mmmm, you'd be correct my dear." She replied in a soft tone, leaning up to lean over the counter. "As for the price that'd depend on if you want company while you stay here or if you just want a nice comfy room." She explained. "If you do, you can choose any of the girls or guys on staff yourself. Price increasing for each you pick of course~" She continued, grinning wide and chuckling a bit.

"Though if you wanted me I might be willing to give you a discount~" She told her in a teasing tone, smirking, flirting with the poor girl mostly just to tease her though in actuality she wouldn't mind much if she did choose her. Though she had a feeling that perhaps, at-least for now, she was simply here to find a place to rest. She hadn't seen her around town to her knowledge so it was quite possible she was a traveler. As long as she was no one dangerous she didn't mind her staying here, though she was a bit wary of travelers having had a few incidents with them that were less than happy. She continued leaning over the counter, giving the other likely a very nice view of her cleavage, arms crossed underneath as she waited on an answer.

BISMARCK SAEDOR

Bismarck was starving. Maybe it was the fact that he had spent three days doing nothing but reading, or maybe it was because he was a growing child, but either way, at one point or another in the story he had been reading, the only thing he could think of was watermelons. And that annoyed him, seeing as he realized he had reached the bottom of the page and that was the only thing he could register. Melons. Big, red, juicy melons. The boy felt drool dripping down his chin; he quickly wiped it off, deciding that it was best that he up and buy the desired fruit before he starved to death--or worse, lost his spot in the story. Standing up, the boy adjusted the position of his bag, which held all of his remaining belongings (just some clothes and his books), and began looking for a place that might have the desired fruit. He didn't have much money, so he had to resort to begging. So far, not very good; within a few minutes, he was told to get lost and stop loitering.

More exploring. A couple peeks into storefronts, only to realize that melons cost too much. Until finally, he found himself in front of a place proclaimed to be an inn/brothel. Now, when Bismarck saw the word "brothel", he didn't think of what it actually meant. Instead he imagined a bunch of elderly monks feeding the poor for free, blessing their children with eternal life, et cetera. So Bismarck entered, expecting just that.

If this was a charity place, it was the weirdest one he had ever seen. Ladies wearing practically nothing dancing around everywhere. Grown men blushing like it was ridiculously hot in here. Even Bismarck felt his cheeks grow warm, though he couldn't quite fathom why. The child sighed, trying to look for a menu of sorts, then, giving up on his search, proceeded to try asking the lady at the front, who some other person not much taller than him was talking to. He tugged on her skirt, trying to get her attention, asking in a smaller voice than normal;
"E-Er.....ma'am....? D-D-Do you ha-have any melons....?"

View attachment 339353Somehow, despite the the mental damage sustained by the momentum of certain things as well as from her antics, Garrett managed to get Reffy inside where she actually put some clothes on, albeit begrudgingly. Breathing a small sigh of relief, the tall man began to get dressed himself, retrieving his coat while trying not to look at his naked girlfriend due to the fact that his already flustered mind wouldn't be able to take much more. He had only just finished pulling his boots on, and thus fully dressing, when Reffy grabbed his hands to drag him out of the room, asking him for ice cream in the process. Figuring they had enough money for it, given their recent jobs and all, Garrett allowed himself to be lead downstairs, all the while feeling an odd draft that hadn't been there when they checked in.

Ducking under the doorframe that lead to the pub that took up the inn's bottom floor Garrett discovered, or rather it should be said that he couldn't have missed, a giant hole in the wall. Before he could wonder where it had come from his eyes lit on a tall, though not nearly as tall as he was, purple haired man, his friend Noah Cross. "One moment Refara, we can go get some ice cream after I greet Noah over there,"he said, letting go of her hands and striding over to the other man, who was just then ordering some wine as per usual, and wrapping him up in a bone-crunching bearhug, lifting him off the ground as if he weighed nothing. "Noah! How've you been?"he asked happily, setting down his unfortunate friend none-too-gently in the process. Perhaps it was for the best that he hadn't yet noticed who it was Noah had been talking to.

Despite feeling bad for the male she had punched into oblivion, she was really starting to hate him; and they had only just met!. This 'Noah' or so he claimed to be called, was clearly trying to woo Ellyse and herself, and that just wasn't on. He wasn't so much of a so called womaniser, so much as he was a pretentious imbecile who craved the company of women, and obviously viewed them as mere objects for his pleasure. Unacceptable. To think that such misogyny existed during this era was astonishing, and Elizabeth didn't like it one bit. Elizabeth looked over to her companion, Ellyse, whom of which rushed through the woods and through the city to be at her side once again. The two of them never left each other's side, they were companions, combat sisters, best friends, allies, and they always stood by and protected one another. It was just as well that she arrived when she did, otherwise Elizabeth just might've needed to talk some sense into this obnoxious and loud man. "Ellyse, I'm glad you're here." She spoke, her tone happy and her face adjourned by a bright smile that was directed solely to the other female. "I apologise for running off and leaving you, I'll be sure not to let my curiosity get the better of me again." She laughed, smiling once more to the girl before her attention averted to the bartender and in turn, Noah, who had proceeded to buy them a drink. "Disregard that, I do not drink." She said, taking her cross out and kissing it gently, smiling to the bartender kindly as she charitably gave him a pouch of money out of pure generosity. Then, her gaze turned to Noah, whom of which was now sitting up at the bar. As he asked for them to join him, Elizabeth shook her head in blatant refusal. "I'm afraid I must pass, I do not drink. Besides, me and El will be going now. We have more pleasant things to do than mope about in a bar all day, drinking ourselves into oblivion whilst waiting for the next catch. Describable behaviour really." Elizabeth sighed, about to walk out the hole in the wall when a girl came in, clearly distressed about the wall being damaged, and fixed it up instantly. It was also in that moment that a towering bear of a man, evidently an associate of Noah's and most probably a friend, emerged from out of nowhere and brought the purple haired male into a backbreaking bear hug.

Before she could leave, a smirk formed in Eliza's face. Turning back to face Noah, she smirked. "I tell you what, lout. I bet my partner can drink you to the ground!" She smiled tauntingly to Noah, before she turned to Ellyse and gave her a confident and playful wink. "If you win, we will stay with you and do what you please. Except sleep with you. That's a definite no." She paused, "If you lose, you have to do everything Ellyse wants you to. What do you say?" She wagered, a smirk on her face as she got in Noah's face.

Boy was he in for a shock, this would certainly wipe the arrogance off of his face.

Elly!

Elly's nose did its very characteristic nose scrunch as the purple haired guy called her pigtails. They were twindrills, not pigtails. The differences were uncanny or at least she thought so. " You don't have to introduce yourself again, you kind of already blurted your name all over the city. " She pointed out as her gaze averted to the side, almost with a touch of annoyance to her words. Amusement wasn't an expression that her face was currently wearing, it was more tolerant than anything. " MY name is Ellyse. " Clear and proud. No last name needed since it wasn't like a last name mattered when someone used your first name anyways. Warmth grew on her face though as Elizabeth addressed her, lips curving into their very own prideful grin. " That's alright, Lizzy. Your light shines so brightly that I'll always find you. " Elly almost seemed as if she was boasting in a flirtatious manner, giving their relationship more of an intimate feel than what it really was. Best friends. Sisters. Something along those lines. Her head tilted as she momentarily looked at the guy with the glasses, blinking a bit as she saw the inevitable. " Well that's unfortunate. " On what though, Elly didn't dare elaborate. Someone else showed up and began inquiring about the wall which made those caramel coloured eyes slip over to inspect it. It was a rather big hole... A subtle shrug befell her shoulders, fingertips raising to idle by her mouth as if in thought. " She did it. " Elly finally answered, nudging Elizabeth lightly with her elbow, completely throwing the other woman under the bus. Both hues widened like a deer staring into headlights as a potential drinking bet was made by her best friend against the lady man.

" Drinking, ehhhh? I'm not sure embarrassing the very manly citizens here will be good for their ego but if he's game then I'll raise my mug to the occasion! " Her lithe fingers wrapped around the handle of the mug that was slid her way thanks to Noah's order. She held it up with a beaming smile, awaiting the acceptance or decline of the challenge. It was mildly amusing to her that Elizabeth said they were both above drinking and didn't partake in such things but was now going to use her to drink for her own idea of shits and giggles. C'est la vie, it wasn't exactly cheating if they didn't know about why she didn't get drunk. A man came striding into her view within that small timespan, and she watched with a look that became quite deadpan in nature as he approached Noah. Why couldn't she see when he was going to die? At first she chalked it up as an error, free hand rubbing at each eye before she peered again. It hadn't made a difference. This made her rather uncomfortable and she awkwardly dropped the mug all over the floor. Wetness splashed at everyone's feet and the smell of booze drifted into the air, even stronger than the natural wafting musk of the pub. " What are you? " It was obvious who the question was addressed to as she stared at Garrett, hues refusing to budge. All the new arrivals didn't even get the quickest of glances, the mystery before her too attention demanding.

One morning in this town and Anne had already been duped. By a blind girl. A seemingly mute blind girl. Of course, the wizard blasting his voice at over a hundred decibels throughout the town was probably a big enough distraction to excuse her slipup... but it was a slipup nonetheless. This was exactly why she tried showing restraint in being a hero... hadn't it been pounded into her head that one person alone is worthless yet? The blonde sighed, restructuring the hard-light ribbons from a safety web to a trapeze system to make her way from one rooftop to the next.

On her way back to her shop, the middle-aged saleswoman had to ignore too many things that any other wizard would have gotten tangled up in. Like the screaming man from moments ago being punched through a few walls by a woman who looked uncomfortably familiar... definitely no good memories there. Anne's ribbons ceased to exist for a few moments, allowing the average human to take a break with her legs hanging over a balcony. She looked down, just in time to stare at another white-haired girl. This one, unlike the blindfolded one from earlier, lacked a blindfold... and clothes. For an entire twenty minutes she observed the female figure do some kind of yoga. She had more than a few questions, but there was a certain sense of security knowing they'd never be answered. Then the girl was pulled back inside by a man, presumably her husband, Anne stood up and got going.

...

As expected, nearly no one was at her stand. Well, nearly no one. She could wait to close up till she finished with this one person, right?
All it took was another few flips and ribbon shots until Anne was sitting perfectly seated in her chair, face shaded under the canopy of rags protecting the table and its surrounding area from the sun. The ribbon casing she had set over the table vanished, leaving the wide selection of Eggs open once again. "Afternoon, sweetie, see somethin' ya--" before she could finish, the girl spoke and picked up one of the gems only to poke at it. "What'r these funny looking egg things?" her future customer asked, a question Anne was well-used to. She only wished she'd be a little more gentle with the poor thing... "That's what'cha call a Swan Egg. All of'em are designed -- with science -- to be able ta pull of things magic could do." Not many people had cared too much about the in-depths of these things, especially those unfortunate enough to be unable to afford them, but the veteran felt she could really hit it off with this one. "Oh, I'm Anne by tha way. If yer really that interested, I could tell ya what each an' every one 'a these gems can do..."
Her tone of voice came off a bit more intense than the saleswoman would care to admit, and she inched a little closer to the girl across the table each passing second...

Location: City Sidewalk - The Freshly Repaired Pub

Christina watched as 3D began to think, it was fairly obvious since his words had trailed off and nothing else had come to play. Not many seconds passed as he finally spoke, mentioning a Pub that was highly recommended by a friend. This prompted the silver-haired wizard to nod "Then we can head there. Thank you." the first respectful words that she's given all day. As he began to walk, she followed behind him, stopping in her tracks as he paused to introduce himself. Dimitri was his name, but he gave her other choices that she could call him by, one of those had been 3D. Which was actually a pretty cool nickname in her opinion, so she would stick with it. 3D resumed his walk and Christina followed, parting her lips and speaking softly "I'm Tina, 3D." she introduced. "I figured you should know my name since...you've been the most helpful." Luca didnt deserve her name after what he did. Pervert...sticking his face right into her rack and even pausing for a good while before finally pulling his face from them!

It took the pair quite the adventerous walk, Tina looked around as the streets became more lively the more that they walked. People laughing or hanging out, sometimes even standing by stands and looking at what vendors had to offer. Earlier she had been stressed out whenever she was near this amount of wizards, but due to previous encounters, she was finally able to get a grip and realise that these people had no idea of her intentions and were quite clueless about it. This put Tina at ease and put her nerves to rest. Looking ahead towards 3D, she watched as he pulled open a door for her and allowed her to head inside first, with the words 'Ladies first'. Giving him a brief nod, she moved through the door and stepped inside, seeing many wizards all in one place, even some common townsfolk. Though the one person she spotted first was the tallest man in the room. If anything, Tina would say he was a giant. Her eyes shifted to the man that was in his arms, being probably hugged to death by the larger male from the looks of it. Continuing to look around, she seen a female figure in an odd attire, a lot more exposed than her own. Then there was a girl who seemed to have dropped a mug and caused the pub to smell more like booze, though she seemed to have been looking at the larger man who towered over her by feet.

Sonar Vision was sometimes a pain to deal with, but it was something that Christina had gotten used to over the years. The ways she had been able to determine who was who, was mainly by how they appeared through sonar vision. There's so many people here... This place must be popular with the drinks and food. she also wondered what it would be like when it was the evening time where others would come here to drink or celebrate. Tina didnt really particularly care but it was some good info to store for later. Besides, if this place had some pretty good food, she'd most likely come back and have a couple of meals per-week. This would mean she'd have to pick up quests again and rack in some Jewel. That was the only way she was able to sustain in this city so far and she planned to keep it that way.

A couple of things took place right before Noah's eyes, but the question was if he was really paying attention. Sittinng across the room at a table were two beautiful women eyeing at him from afar. One was of darker skin with curly hair and a nice thicc body and the other was a red head with freckles who had a nice chest on her. Even as Elizabeth spoke to him he wasn't really paying attention. Noah didn't really have the taste for stuck up women. Her friend on the other hand didn't seem to be that way but she was absolutely loyalty Elizabeth. The drinks came and Noah down at least two mugs in a quick session before standing. He looks at Elizabeth and Ellyse with a smile. "As much as I love to have a drinking contest with you, I would have to decline. You see I have more exciting plans that just came up. And now if I may, I'll be go-ayyyyyy but me dowwwwwnn!!! Noah yelled as he was lifted into a bear hug. He looks to see the one responsible wasn't some random brute, but a giant who's been alive for a long time. The angry expression faded and into a wild childish smile. Once he was released he went back in for a hug. "Damn Garrett I missed you man, but look we'll have to catch up later. There's two fine ladies over there waiting, and I must meet them. If you know what I'm saying?? You know wink wink nudge nudge." He chuckled then slaps his friend on his butt and walks to the table. Noah wasn't over there for long before the girls left with him up to their room upstairs. LeSoraAmari LeSoraAmari Kyuubey Kyuubey Mykinkaiser Mykinkaiser @Everyone

Refara Illnara

The long, white haired Blood Dragon Slayer let her hair bobble side to side with every tiny little bounce of her feet down the stairs. Enthusiastic was the best word to describe her personality, like she had an overflowing tap of energy that didn't seem to ever run out. Or at least she'd been that way ever since she'd meet Garrett. Before then she mostly just kept to herself. As usual she led the half giant down the stairs at the same fast pace and as usual forget to remind him to duck under an overhanging wooden beam, but as usual the man seemed perspective of these sorts of things and thus avoided the hazard with relative ease. She was just about to turn around and start sprouting her favourite Ice Cream flavours in a desperate bid to choose one before they got to the stall when low and behold the Behemoth man simply let go of her delicate hands and said something about some girl named Noah and promptly left her. She blinked still staring in the direction she had been facing him for a good few seconds, before she spun on her heels with her pink eye wide.

You could say the girl wasn't the sharpest tool in her shed, or rather her sword made from the spin of her former dragon was most certainly sharper then she was, so in her little over protective brain the girl gasped in a shocked and horrified fashion when this "Noah" girl, with daring long and beautiful purple hair was swept up in her Garry's arms no less!! Oh Noah had meet Garrett countless times, and she had seen him more then once, but she didn't have the greatest memory and honestly she seemed to loose all coherent thought when he was surrounded by those girllllssss. Luckily for the purple haired girl Noah, she obviously could see the murderous glare that was x-ray visioned straight into Garrett's back because then she broke away and left with two more girls! Reffy did a rather hilarious flick of her snow hair, pompous really, quite happy this Noah was taking away more of the XX Chromosomes before she skipped right on over and slipped an arm through Garrett and pulled him down with a surprising amount of strength to make him bend his spine in a rather uncomfortable manner and forcing her not small chest in against his arm.

She let her one pink eye roll around the two girls now before her, one who looked very regal and another who had adorable pigtails... at least that's what they looked like to her. She tilted her head side to side in a ditsy sort of manner though she still had a grumpy looking pout on her face from that purple haired girl. And then she heard something about a drinking contest? She let her eye drift upwards to look to Garrett innocently and even made a cute little giggle along with it
. "I dunno if Garry is much interested in drinking contests... I mean... he always wins them. But I guess if there is money on the line we could do it before we go for Ice Cream..."

Although even as she was saying all this, Refara's eyes drew themselves back to the pigtail girl with the giggle and smile slowly fading from the look on her face. Oh she heard the words the girl spoke rather quickly, and almost instantly she tensed up though she wasn't sure why. Who asked someone what they were anyway?...

"It's kinda rude to ask someone what they are, clearly he's human! Albeit a really really REALLY tall one..."

Though she couldn't break that feeling she got from the look and turned more to face Garrett with her own expression kinda on the verge of panic.

"I mean, isn't that right Garry?...."

If this was a charity place, it was the weirdest one he had ever seen. Ladies wearing practically nothing dancing around everywhere. Grown men blushing like it was ridiculously hot in here. Even Bismarck felt his cheeks grow warm, though he couldn't quite fathom why. The child sighed, trying to look for a menu of sorts, then, giving up on his search, proceeded to try asking the lady at the front, who some other person not much taller than him was talking to. He tugged on her skirt, trying to get her attention, asking in a smaller voice than normal;
"E-Er.....ma'am....? D-D-Do you ha-have any melons....?"

Anne Gustav
319835.jpg

A blank expression on her face, Anne unbuttoned her shirt slightly more and reached into it as she let herself gaze down into the abyss of the catgirl's chest. It felt wrong to her, but then again, she figured there was a reason the other was leaning forward so far. And eye contact might have proven to be even more awkward than simply admiring the view.
The blonde looked over to the stages one last time before pulling a handful of jewel from her shirt, letting out a small sigh as though there was no turning back. Not hearing the door open behind her, she began to speak. "I'll take both a room fer the night an' you. Oh, him, too." She gestured to the dancer her eyes were on before, remembering exactly why she was there. "If that's possible. I'd hate ta sound demanding."
Before she could set her payment gently onto the desk, Anne felt unexpected pulling on the back of her skirt. "Hey, I don't work here!" she protested while spinning to face her back, fists on her hips. In her sight was what she hoped was a boy and not a fully grown man - or worse, woman - who didn't know what kind of place he was in. Whatever the case, his small, almost inaudible voice asked for melons. Anne didn't know whether to feel sorry for the hungry child or offended in the case that this was actually an adult trying and failing at flirting with her. When she thought about it, there was no possible way that someone could walk into a place with a pretty sign reading 'inn/brothel' and see all of the pole dancers without thinking that this was probably not where you'd find real food. At least, not healthy food. On the other hand, children had proven many times that they lack common sense. If he truly was as young as he looked, maybe he was just braindead?
Either way, this was a complete buzzkill. So much anticipation to be wasted on using her brain.
As much as she wanted to, she couldn't bend down in an authority-fashioned manner thanks to her childlike height. Looking down had to do. "Well, lil' guy, that depends on what kinda melons yer' talkin' about. Like, watermelons? Or straight-up melons...?" Anne glanced behind at the catgirl at the desk, hoping she knew how to handle this situation.

"Gentler...?" She quietly repeated the word as she thought it over. She had done it with just as much force as Alicia or the redhead. At least she thought she had. Maybe there was a subtle technique she hadn't picked up on. Her thoughts were interrupted as Alicia wrapped her arms around her, causing her to glance to the sides. The sudden peck on the cheek and vague response just left her further confused. It was becoming abundantly clear that there wasn't any real strict rule set as every encounter seemed to be slightly different. If she was going to manage she'd have to learn to just roll with it and not get hung up on the individual differences between each person. Once she had come to her conclusion she refocused her attention on the present, looking down at the blue-haired girl's face. Alicia's face was reddened, a sign she recognized all too well from her time with Vysoria. She suddenly leaned down, resting her forehead against the blue-haired girl's forehead. With her eyes closed she held this position for a few moments before finally pulling back. "You don't seem sick.. I could have sworn you were by the redness..."

While the light blush of Alicia would remain a mystery she decided she had held her position long enough. Neither Alicia nor the redheaded man stayed down for that long. Leaving Alicia's arms where they were she suddenly straightened up and wrapped an arm around the girl's back. In one fluid motion she got to her feet, pulling the other girl along with as if she weighed nothing. She held the blue-haired girl a few inches off the ground before gently setting her back down and releasing her, content that she had pulled off the greeting. With the two back on their feet she looked back towards the entrance of the alley to find 3D and the white-haired girl gone. "We were left behind..." The words were, once again, quiet as she mostly spoke to herself before looking back towards Alicia. The girl seemed to know a lot and they were lovers now that they exchanged names and she properly pinned her to the ground. It only made sense to learn more things from her, especially now that 3D had left. "So what do you normally do during the day?" Wary about revealing her social ineptitude she was careful in wording her question. If she was going to live in a human city she'd have to figure out what to do with her days, as fighting dragons and hunting didn't seem to be too common.

"Yeah. Just uh. Don't toss people onto the ground so hard." Alicia explained. After all, not everyone was as durable as a mage as not everyone was actually a mage. It'd be bad if Vesa started tossing normal humans to the ground with such force. That said she didn't entirely mind it, Vesa hadn't been trying to hurt her and she wasn't actually hurt so it was all good. She was curious however how she'd react to the kiss, not really sure just how much Vesa understood. She didn't seem to quite understand her teasing, or at the very least she didn't register it as such. She didn't comment though, blinking a few times as she pressed her forehead to hers. What was she doing? Was she going to kiss her, or? She didn't do anything but sit there and wait to see what the odd girl was doing, who knew really. She grinned and giggled a bit when she said she didn't seem sick and shook her head, "Of course I'm not sick silly." She replied, thinking for a few moments if she should explain what was really going on to her, ultimately deciding against it. "Well...I'll explain that to you later." She told her, shrugging, not really up for explaining the whole topic of blushing at the moment.

She squeaked as the other girl suddenly straightened, moved a bit, and ended up pulling her up and dangling her like a puppy off the ground. She looked down at her with wide eyes. Definitely some sort of strength magic or this girl was just a LOT stronger than she looked. She smiled once she was sat down and looked around at the now empty alleyway, actually not having noticed everyone cleared out either. Though she had noticed it had gotten quite, well, quiet. At her question she blinked, not really sure how to respond at first. "Well normally I work at a bakery. Nice place, good food, very kind people." She told her. "When I'm not working there I'm really just out and about looking for interesting things to do. Usually I play with some of the neighboorhood children...it's funny really they think I'm a lot younger than I am due to how short I am." She said, chuckling a bit at the thought. "Sooo, what about you?" She asked. "I haven't seen you around before, usually just keep to yourself, or?"
Evelyn text.png

Evelyn remained stern as a woman with blonde hair approached and fixed the wall with some form of magic. Another mage huh? Not only that but her magic felt powerful... Incredible actually, yet it had the feeling of warmth and comfort too. A rather odd mix of feelings. The feeling of a dangerous opponent but yet also good in nature. Regardless the woman didn't appear to pay much attention to Evelyn, so she thought it best to do the same. Usually she'd stay to prevent any further rough-housing but perhaps there won't be much fighting here with that woman around. That being said she quietly made her way out the bar and continued on her way. She strolled the streets looking for the nearest bakery available, it was unbelievable just how little bakery's there were. Does no one understand how much stress can be relieved with a single slice of cake? But no it just has to be booze... Forget about the great threat in the sky. *sigh*

As Evelyn continued walking, she overheard a conversation in one of the nearby alleys. Considering there are a few muggers running loose in this city, made evident by the one she dealt with earlier, it wouldn't be safe to hang around in a place like that. She made her way inside the alleyway and took notice of two innocent looking girls. One with purple hair and another with blue hair. The innocent ones... Always the most vulnerable to muggers... Or even worse... The slayer didn't say a word as she approached the two girls, her boots not making any attempt to mask her presence. However as she drew closer she could feel even more magic coming from someone! Or even both of them? Evelyn never noticed the amount of magic users in this city. However it's not going to change her objective. "You two..." She spoke with her usual broad and stern voice and eyes piercing through both of them. "An alleyway like this is a prime spot for crimes you know. It's not very safe to stay around here." Despite saying this however... Evelyn was also new to this city. She's just basing her judgement from her gut and experience.

Roland Sorentin

Roland heaved a heavy sigh as he entered the bustling city of Dunlayn. He had made his way here in order to find more material for his next book, "Fighting for a future: the battle against the scaley oppressors." So far he had shadowed several promising canidates for the main characters in his story. But alas, most feel at the hands of the winged monstrosities. Of course he would make sure they where remembered for their noble deeds. He had forever engraved their names, and actions into his mind, and thus transferred them to the pages of his book. But hopefully he'd find someone less prone to dying, that would be a nice change of pace.

So he walked through the city. Making sure to stay removed from any happenings going on around him. Being near all these people made Roland extremely uneasy. He had always been terrible with people, at least for as long as he could recall. Yvain was always understanding of Roland's awkwardness. At the very least he never seemed bothered by it. So they usually got along swell. Perhaps this was because Roland was the only person who wouldn't try to kill Yvain, or maybe it was due to him having nowhere else to go. But anyhow, they got along, always watching out for one another. But it seemed like those days were far behind Roland. For now he stood alone, suffocated by the clutter people surrounding him. No Yvain there to watch his back.

Luckily Roland had become extremely good at going unnoticed in his time traveling. At least when it came to being in crowds of people. He eyed everyone around him, and walked. His steps carrying no weight, his presence almost none existent. With his guard up no one would so much as bat an eye at him. So he scanned his surroundings, avoiding drawing attention to himself. He sucked his gut in, and compressed his shoulders so that he wouldn't make contact with others. He squeezed through crowds of people trying his best not to panic as he came extremely close to strangers. Once he passed he exhaled deeply."How troublesome, why must I deal with this every time I go to find a new muse." His shoulders slumped in a fatigued manner, as if they were being pulled down my some invisible force."Perhaps I could write books on animals instead? Hmm, no no, they're far to likely to try and make a meal out of me. Plus I do despise being out in nature for to long. The bugs are particularly pesky."He reminded himself, continuing on his search.

As he walked, he continued his writing. Describing the scenery around him, as well as the people. Who while he may not have cared for, were extremely interesting. They came in all shapes and sizes, all types from all over. It was really fascinating, he almost couldn't decide who to shadow next. But then he saw a woman, and was awestruck. She was so stern, and regel in appearance. She seemed to walk with purpose, head held high, and he posture perfect. Roland followed quietly behind, not noticing the ball of light descending from the thunder storm that had abruptly appeared in the sky. It must have truly be a spectacle to behold, but Roland was to busy stalking his potential muse to notice.

He peeked around the corner, watching her as she confronted two other females. He watched in awe listening to their conversation, and writing down everything said. But when he got a good look at the woman he couldn't help but begin making a detailed sketch to capture her fierce beauty. Her hair was golden, and long. However it didn't take away from the intense features of her face. A stern, almost authority like aura oozed from her, and Roland simply had to capture it. Unfortunately for him he had become so distracted, that he himself didn't notice he had walked into plain sight, and was staring at the woman with a mesmerized look on his face. Of course he had worn a scarf in case it got chilly outside, although it had been oddly hot for such a cloudy day. But the scarf would cover his mouth leaving only his star filled eyes open for explanation.

BISMARCK SAEDOR

Mitchs98 Mitchs98 Salt Lord Salt Lord

If this was a charity place, it was the weirdest one he had ever seen. Ladies wearing practically nothing dancing around everywhere. Grown men blushing like it was ridiculously hot in here. Even Bismarck felt his cheeks grow warm, though he couldn't quite fathom why. The child sighed, trying to look for a menu of sorts, then, giving up on his search, proceeded to try asking the lady at the front, who some other person not much taller than him was talking to. He tugged on her skirt, trying to get her attention, asking in a smaller voice than normal;
"E-Er.....ma'am....? D-D-Do you ha-have any melons....?"

Anne Gustav

Cerebus VeronCerebus hummed softly as she waited on a response from the other, not quite sure how she'd react. Though she arched a brow as she unbuttoned her shirt a bit, curious as to what the girl was doing though soon figured out that's where she kept her money. Smart girl she supposed. She grinned wide at her words and nodded, "Sure thing~" She replied, happily taking up her jewel and pocketing it. "I suppose I'll look forward to toni-..." She began, only to pause when Bismarck walked in and interrupted them asking for...melons. She blinked a few times at the little boy before outright laughing. Was he serious? Oh this was just perfect to her...either he was indirectly being lewd or the poor kid was actually hungry, or perhaps both? Who knew, she certainly didn't.

She decided to let Anne field the first response given it was she whose skirt he tugged on. She nodded slightly at her response, "This true. We have both kinds of melon....and in quite the ample supply." She said, chuckling softly and smirking. "Although you'll have to be much more clear as to what kind of melon you want." She said, pushing up on her breasts with her hands a bit. "These kind, or the actual food kind?" She asked, a wide cheeky little grin on her face the entire time. This was just too good.

Vesa Ellion

Vesa stared somewhat blankly as her new companion explained what she did. "Bakery, huh?" She did her best to sound natural, fighting the urge to ask what a bakery was. She'd probably find out eventually so no sense in asking here. In fact, most of what Alicia said simply flew over her head. Absolutely none of it was relatable to her. As the question was thrown back on her she took a few moments to think it over. "I just arrived in town. I usually spend my time hunting dragons." She paused briefly as she compared her answer to Alicia's. Hers was far less expansive. But there wasn't much she could do about it. "That's it, really. I don't do much outside of that." Her focus was pulled from the blue-haired girl to the sound of footsteps approaching them. The word of warning from the newcomer didn't seem to phase her much at all. From everything she'd ever been told humans were weak and frail, which is why they were at the mercy of dragons. Someone like her had no reason to fear them. Plus she hadn't seen anyone that seemed bad. Everyone she had met thus far seemed nice.

Vesa thought over how best to respond for a few moments. Her entire demeanor was completely unchanged. Even with the aura of authority coming off the newcomer she treated the blonde in much the same way she had treated everyone else. "Thanks for the warning but it's not needed." Her voice was her usual stoic, almost monotone fashion. Even if her words were a bit harsh her tone did nothing to reflect that. After all, she was merely stating that the concern was unneeded. If anyone attacked them she could fend them off, of that she was certain. Her eyes drifted from Evelyn to the scarfed man standing awkwardly at the alley's entrance. "For being dangerous there's been a lot of activity." Almost everyone she'd interacted with in this city had been done in this alley, and now there were two more people popping up. It was hard to believe this would be a hotspot for danger when it's so well-traversed.

Evelyn text.png
Evelyn awaited an answer from either of the girls, wondering if they'd be too intimidated to answer. Like most people are... However the girl with the purple hair didn't seem bothered at all. She spoke as if she was talking to any other person. Honestly Eve was kinda impressed. The girl pointed out that her warning was not needed. "Is that so... So you mean to tell me that you're no stranger to battle? In that case it seemed I had nothing to worry about." Then Evelyn heard the steps of someone approaching until it came to a sudden halt. Did someone follow Evelyn into this Alley? Perhaps her intuition was correct afterall. She swiftly reached for her cutlass and sprinted towards the stalker, pointing the tip of the blade at his neck, her gaze fiercer than ever. One of the first things she noticed was a book that the man had held in his hand, along with a pen. Was this man studying her? "You... Why are you following me? You here to kill me? Are you a dragon sympathiser? Speak before I lop off your head!" Then again this might be a huge misunderstanding, maybe this was just some random creep that was stalking her, but Evelyn wasn't taking any chances.

Roland had already finished the Sketch, and in record time even. When his muse turned her blade on him. He stood there wide eyes for a moment, not sure what to do. He was to terrafied to speak, he hated conflict. It always made his body feel like it was trying to mutiny against him. He just stood, book in one hand, and pen in the other. There was an awkward silence, her question hanging in the air. He couldn't very well answer her, so he did the only thing he could think to do beside run away. Because her blade was far to close to his throat for him to think that a good idea.

He slowly turned his book towards her, revealing what he had been working on. It was a image of her, but she was well...naked, more or less. Certain parts of her body where covered in armor, and as you searched over the image you'd notice this wasn't armor. It was actually dragon scales. Roland had gone and drawn his mysterious muse as some sort of dragon/human hybrid. He even gave her large beautiful dragon wings, and a tail that curled around her firm figure. But the part he was most proud of was her eyes. Which he had made even fiercer by changing them to reptilian dragon like eyes. He didn't sympathize with anyone. He was simply an observer, something she'd probably find out if she bothered to read through his many stories in the book he was showing her. He hoped this would suffice in gaining her trust, or at least killing any suspicions of him being a killer.

He suddenly became aware that the other girls were still around, and stiffened up. A small scream escaping his lips. He was exposed! They could see him, and where so close! What if they all tried to talk to him! Well he'd run of course, like always. But what if they persued him, or what if his running only confirmed his muses suspicions!? Could he still follow his muse now that she had become wise to him? This was all starting to give Roland a headache.
