I just saw the most recent post sorry I didn’t see an notification from that thread s though only Garrett repliedTulak is the one driving this scene - if you want to achieve something push for it! Everyone else has responded to your attempt to instill team spirit, but as far as I can tell none of the other characters have a goal to achieve this scene. If you're satisfied, you can call an end and move on, and if you aren't you can push harder to persuade.
Still wanting on Sojiro and Garrets responseWant me to move things ahead to the next scene?
Garret already replied, unless you need more from him.Still wanting on Sojiro and Garrets response
If one of the PC'S has the hearthstone on them right now, Cid and the rest of the crew will already have noticed it by this point. I've just been keeping things vague because I myself am not sure where it is.He looks at whomever is currently holding the stone and he says in a quiet voice, "I don't suppose we have some way of covering that up to keep it from startling the crew, do we? Then once we get to the island we can see what secrets it can show us."
Don't worry, I expect Twilights to know absurd and impossible things. I'm not going to throw a tantrum.Random Word Sherwood
Just want to reassure you both that despite the reveal about Cid, Ijara will still be the Circle's source of exposition, and Maya will still be the designated pilot of the Blue Seahawk. Cid's just going to be the support.
I see how it is. Divine punishment for not taking Duck Fate immediately.the Gem lets off a big jolt of green lightning that nails the Sidereal in the chest and sends her flying back into the nearest mast of the ship, Cid's crew letting out exclamations of shock.
[OOC: Ijara takes no damage; this is just for dramatic effect.]
Ijara quite understandably lets go of the Gem after it blasts her away, but rather than fall onto the ship's deck, it hovers in the air while crackling wildly with the green lightning.
Is this a dramatic reveal that Cid knows Ijara's real name, or just a slip?Seemingly unbothered about how he's just exposed himself as an "Anathema", Cid lowers his fist - from which the muffled sounds of crackling can still be heard - and turns to the Chosen of Battles with a look of concern. "Are you alright, Ijara?"
Ah, no, it's neither. I just forgot that Ijara was keeping her real name a secret. I'll go ahead and edit.Is this a dramatic reveal that Cid knows Ijara's real name, or just a slip?
What is Duck Fate? I can't find any reference to it in the Essence Corebook.I see how it is. Divine punishment for not taking Duck Fate immediately.
Sorry, I forget which iconic Sidereal charms made it in as modes. Duck Fate is the Sidereal perfect Dodge, known for applying to everything from being stabbed to being poisoned to being invited to a particularly unpleasant party. I assume someone has written up a Sidereal Mode for an Athletics dodge charm to bring back Duck Fate by now. What is Duck Fate? I can't find any reference to it in the Essence Corebook.
No worries. I had no idea the Charm even existed. It sounds plenty entertaining though.Sorry, I forget which iconic Sidereal charms made it in as modes. This is a good question jaydude - are there?"If it's as large as you say, there's a good chance other ships have run aground here then. Any wrecks we aren't seeing?"
