Oh, I really didn't mean to throw a tantrum. It was mostly surprise, and wanting to get my bearings again. Before you wanted to put some of that information in spoiler tags, which made me think it was very obscure knowledge. To then see it casually tossed out as if it were common knowledge threw me off. I just needed to recalibrate. But yes, in the absence of a bunch of other Sidereals, or a Twilight/No Moon/etc, I did figure 'research' fell into the wheelhouse of a Sagacity 5 Sidereal with Efficient Secretary .

Oh and of course other PCs can try to guess Ijara's not what she claims to be her job is to make that difficult, though.

I get needing to recalibrate oneself at times.

And as for the stuff in spoiler tags, it wasn't so much "obscure knowledge" as it was "knowledge that I didn't believe the other PC's were in any position to have compared to the Sidereal tasked with killing the thing".

So in regards to sourcing the airship, do we want to take Sherwood 's option and try to get one from the Autochthonians? I'm definitely a fan of this idea for how it utilises Most Assurant's background, but I'd need help in regards to arranging the fiction for it.

My main issue is just that I basically know next to nothing about Autochthonia, besides what I can infer from the Corebook. How do you access it from Creation? What's it like? What would it take for the people there to grant you use of an airborne ship?

Autochthonia is very communist in the fact that even the Chosen don't own their own gear, it is simply on loan to them from the people of Autochthonia for as long as you need it. In the Locust War saga, the initial breech into Creation is in the southwest part of Creation, where the armies of Autochthon move quickly across the south and even attack the Blessed Isle and Yu-Shan directly.

jaydude I am thinking that it might be better for the story to say that Most Assurant is a recently awakened Exalt from the First Age, and not a part of the invasion force from Autochthon. I'm willing to make the changes to her backstory to reflect that if you want.

And I do have the basics of an idea for how the Circle can obtain an airship. It'll involve you going on a mini-voyage of sorts to find it, if you're all up for that.

Nope, Cathak investigating rumours of a lost airship in preparation for the civil war makes perfect sense. They're probably racing Ragara to find it. Ijara could probably look up something about it, but unless she has orders from Heaven to prevent its recovery, she'll just fill in any gaps or fix any mistakes. Right now her priority is Aigaion.

Edit: okay one thing she would definitely do is try to make sure it's real so they're not wasting time.

Okay, so thinking of skipping ahead a few days for the next scene, with the five of you on a ship you've chartered to get to Akamin Island. I do have plans for the captain of the ship (he's basically a version of Cid), but I'm welcome to suggestions if anyone would like anything different.

It was in one off the earlier FF games that Cid was turned into an oglop by his wife for after an argument. Maybe #8, but I'm not sure.
