I have you marked at 6 Power right now; how much do you want to wager for your damage roll?

Also, just for future reference, this is something you should declare at the same time you state your intent to do a decisive attack.

If you're not going to attack this round, do you want to do a Sprint move? That'll put you within Close Range of Ijara, the guards and the fleeing servants.
Yes, also what would I have to roll to get them organized and evacuating?

Well the servants are already moving thanks to Ijara. You're not around anyone else who needs to be told to head to the docks right now.

so the civilians aren’t danger of the aigionites anymore?
Well they're not currently under attack from the two groups fighting with the other PC's, but they still have to get to the docks safely, and there are no doubt plenty of other civilians elsewhere. This is a big city, after all.

Then Tulak will be helping them

Just to check, I know that your attack roll includes 4 dice from Finesse, 5 dice from Close Combat, 5 dice from your Excellency and 3 dice due to using a Rush. Where do the last 2 dice come from though? Or are you counting the two bonus successes from Aramitama's accuracy rating as the extra dice?

I assumed the stunt and used stunt dice.

Ah, right. Thanks for clarifying. Yes, that works out.

Also...wow. If this is what an Essence 1 Dragon-blooded can do, I'm starting to wonder whether giving Kyoma two Implosion Bows was overkill.

I've been happy to find that power-tiering has been toned down a lot in Essence with there being a built-in expectation of highly diverse parties. This build is probably one of the cheesiest combinations I've stumbled across in large part by accident. Almost all of it can be imitated by any splat, but when I remembered that Air-aspected get the additional range band of movement from their anima, things got really scary.

Another Withering attack on the critters with a pathetic roll. Only 3 successes to hit.
Can't always help bad luck with dice rollers. Good news is the weapon accuracy of 1 bonus success should still bring that up to a hit and with the overwhelming rating, build 3 more Power.

It does indeed, Rykon Rykon

I'll handle the latest Rout Check here, since whether or not it succeeds will determine whether or not I can do anything more with the Aigaionite Vanguard. And given that Aigaion loses 2 dice for all rolls after going down to half-health...there would've been more chance of it failing.

I thought we’d be dead if we tried attacking that thing head on
That was somewhat my intention as well, but I'm not particularly inclined to complain about that expectation being subverted. I'm largely playing to find out what happens, and in any event, it's yet to be seen what Aigaion's capable of when it comes to attacking you lot.

Anyway, I'm going to be turning in for the night now. I'll have Aigaion start blasting people tomorrow.
