Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

Sapphira smiled. "Thanks," she smiled. She walked into her room, taking a seat on her bed, and retrieved her violin from its case. She tuned it a bit before doing her warm ups.

I went into my dorm and quickly made the bed and grabbed my guitar. I picked up my journal and quickly made my way out before stopping. She didn't tell me what room she was in I thought and frowned. I started walking down the hallway calling her name, "Sapphira?! You never told me where your room was!"

Sapphira opened her door. "Over here," she called out in her usual, soft manner. She sat back down on her bed, running her fingers over her violin.

It had been a gift from her father; he was the only one she missed out of everyone she had left behind. She hadn't had many friends, and her mother and sisters had treated her like she hadn't quite belonged. She had had the feeling she was adopted ever since she was a little girl, though now her thoughts were confirmed.

I smiled walking over to the room and went inside, closing the door behind me. I sat next to her and handed her my journal. "You can choose any song in that journal or any that come to mind," I said with a wide smile.

"Do you know There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered, Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet?" Sapphira asked. "It's one of my favorite Panic! at the Disco songs."

"I love that song!" I said enthusiastically. I wasn't that big of a fan of Panic! at the Disco but that was a good song. I smiled looking at her, " Your choice, you start."

"I don't know." Lake mumbled and adjusted her cap. "I don't think that's such a wise idea right now and I don't feel like it right now." She said with an angry frown. "Just because I accepted a little of your help doesn't mean that I want any of hers. If she wants to talk to me then she'll need to come to me." She took a deep breath, quickly calming her snappy herself. "How about I join you guys?" She asked. "I'm not really in the mood to be around any girls right now."

Sapphira raised her violin and started playing. It sounded different from the song, obviously; the original wasn't played with a violin. "Please leave all overcoats, canes and top hats with the doorman, from that moment you'll be out of place and underdressed. I'm wrecking this evening already and loving ever minute of it, ruining this banquet for the mildly inspiring and..." She sang the words softly.

"Uh, yeah sure, I'm sure its okay." I said gesturing for her to follow me. "Hey Lloyd" I called to him and he ran over to us. "Yeah?" he asked, sweat dripping off his face. "Can she join in, red team obviously" I asked. "Uh...yeah sure if she wants to, I guess" He said chuckling a little.

I joined in, strumming along with her and started singing along, "Please, leave all overcoats, canes and top hats with the doorman, from that moment you'll be out of place and underdressed, I'm wrecking this evening already and loving every minute of it, ruining this banquet for the mildly inspiring and... when you're in black slacks with accentuating, off-white, pinstripes, whoa, everything goes according to plan."

Lake smiled and dropped her cap on the ground before taking the ball in her hands. She bounced the ball on her foot, then on her knee and balanced it on her head before she dropped the ball and kicked it against the unknown guy's head. "Of course I'm sure, dumb ass." She said, half pissed off. "Just because I'm a girl and don't like sports doesn't mean that I don't know how to play… Now are you guys going to keep staring or can we start?"

Lloyd backed off a little and gave her a small smile. "No, we can go, chill." He said grabbing the ball from the ground and tossing it to one of his team mates. "Come on" I said quickly to Lake as I ran on to the field. I took up my position up front at striker and waited for the game to restart.

Cole, arriving to his room, looked around. He got changed quickly, and headed out for a run. He was not really good with getting to know people, as he had some hard times doing the introductions, except some special examples. He may had been the leader of the Dragons of Just, but he was just in contact with a few stronger people from them. Truth to be told, he was feeling strange when he thought about how much he liked Lake. If anyone, from his past, would have seen him, they would just laugh at him. While he was running, he got pretty annoyed by the school. He hoped that he would not have to get into school ever again. Although he had a good mind, and he could easily learn any subjects, he always hated doing so.

After getting so annoyed, he just ran back to his room, where he continued with his training. After about two hours of training, he went to take a shower. Getting under it, he just closed his eyes, and raised his face so that he would face the water. It felt so great, and yet it wasn't enough to make him actually feel good. Getting out from there, he put on a pants, and with the towel in his neck, he just took off a book and started to read it.

Once Lloyd got back to his position, the ball was passed back to him. Alright, he had a few options, pass it to someone he knew, or give the new girl a go at it. Deciding that if worse came to worse, the goalie could block it and passed it to the new girl.

(OOC) I don't really play soccer, so I don't know all the rules. Please bare with me and correct me when I make mistakes.

Lake got the ball and rolled her eyes. I'll show that easy going bastard how to really play it. She snarled in her head and gritted her teeth. Twisted and turned the ball around the guys with ease as she ran towards the goal. She kicked the ball in front of her, swinging her leg backwards, she kicked the ball into the goal and hard into the upper left corner of the net. She stomped back towards Lloyd and got into his face. "And THAT is how you play fucking soccer, you moron." She said as the goalie kicked the ball into the air. "I'll break your fucking leg if you go easy on me!"

I laughed at Lake's reaction and grabbed the ball. I made a nice long through ball straight through the defense, landing at my right wings foot and he hit it hard and low into the bottom left of the goal. I ran up to him and gave him a quick high five before jogging back into position.

"Alright." Lloyd said, a bit freaked out by the girl. Why did he want her on his team again? Whatever, they were tied now and Lloyd planned on changing that. "Over here!" Lloyd shouted, waving his arm above his head. When the ball landed by him, he got it under control and took off. He couldn't get it all the way to the goal though and had to pass it off to someone else who made a shot for the goal, but sadly it was blocked.

Our goalkeeper threw it out to the centre mid, who made a great run through and got it off to the left wing. He looked up and swung the ball into the box, looking for me in the middle. I got in front of my marker and took a huge jump, slamming the ball into the top right with my head. The left wing and I did a small celebration, and I winked at Lake before running back to my half.

"You." Lloyd said pointing to the new girl, "Get up here and get ready." Getting his teammates attention, the ball was passed to him and immediately passed it to her. running past all defenders to his mark, he turns and shouts "Pass it!"

Lake didn't want to smile at Oliver, but she couldn't help it. It had been a while since she had some fun, and this was actually pretty nice. The opposite team got the ball and Lake ran up to one of the guys. She tried to steal the ball, just like Lloyd wanted, and she managed until she turned around and two other guys were blocking her. She couldn't get around them, so she jumped over the ball did a turn and kicked it towards Lloyd, but only to run into the other two guys, sending the three of them towards the ground.

"I'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it. Because you say so under your breath, you're reading lips, when did she get all confident?" Sapphira drew the last word out so that Aurora could overlap.

"Haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer? Never looked better, and you can't stand it, next is a trip to the, the ladies room in vain, and I bet you just can't keep up with, (keep up) with these fashionistas, and tonight, tonight you are, you are a whispering campaign, I bet to them your name is "Cheap", I bet to them you look like shh..." Aurora sang, overlapping Sapphira and smiled.

"Talk to the mirror, OH choke back tears and keep telling yourself that, I'm a diva!" Sapphira hit the high note effortlessly, her voice strong and clear.

"Oh and the smokes in that cigarette box on the table, they just so happen to be laced with nitroglycerin, I'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it, because you say so under your breath, you're reading lips "When did he get all confident?" Aurora sang, holding out the last word for Sapphira.

"Haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer? Never looked better and you can't stand it." The next part was the hardest to play on her violin. In the original song, this section was all trumpets, but she did the best she could.
