Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

"Uhm...wow" I commented at Aurora's sudden ferocity. A guy swung at me, and I caught his fist, sending a couple hundred amps of electricity coursing through his body. I turned to the last guy, and as I was about to drop him, Tobias interrupted with a forceful "Enough! The test is complete, thank you gentleman, you may leave!" The guys in black all got up, some of them finding it a lot harder than others, and made there way out of the compound. They got in their cars and drove away. "Uhm...excuse me" I exclaimed turning to Tobias "But what the actual F**K was that."

I glared at Tobias and made my way to him. I wrapped my hand tightly around his throat and shoved him against the wall, refusing to let go. "What in the hell is wrong with you?! I swear to god if you keep this s*** up you're gonna end up dead!" I yelled with more anger in my voice than normal. I let go and start to turn around but stop. "And another thing. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to go into people's rooms without knocking first?" I turned around and walked down the hall a ways before I started pacing.

"You did we-" He tried to say but I cut him off "You know what just f**** save it I don't want to hear it" I stomped off to my room and slammed the door behind me. I grabbed the tennis ball again, and started throwing it against the wall, getting harder and harder each time.

"H-how am I supposed to make us fly?" Lake asked with a small blush touching her ears. "We're supposed to get in, not up." She pointed.

"I was just considering that you may not want me destroying the half of the facility, and that there is another exit a few miles up ahead." He said while he looked down from embarrassment, and pointed into the opposite direction where the swat team were.

After a while I calmed down and went to my room. I closed the door behind me and locked it then went to my bed and laid down. I picked up my guitar and start playing a tune I had been working on. I sighed staring at the ceiling in silence.

"Me?" Lake asked. "Caring about the facility? Ha, don't make me laugh." The looked his metal form up and down. "Cant you like… Switch it off?" It's not that Lake didn't want to be in his arms, she just didn't want to get too attached to him, since she ruined everything and everyone around her. "Maybe we should run." She suggested when the outside swat members came closer. Last thing she wanted was too end up like an experiment… Well, more then she was at least.

As Cole ((almost Jaden again...)) turned back to normal, he agreed with Lake on running away. He felt so embarrassed, it was hard to even look at the girl. A bit later he told the girl, that he had control over this skill, but had yet to really master the inhuman strength of his.

Lake suddenly stopped running when she noticed the they were at the end of the roof. "What do we do now?" She asked as she hid herself behind Cole. The swat team stopped running as well and slowly stepped up to them. Lake noticed one of the men put some special dart with green liquid into his gun. The man aimed at her head, but she ducked away, only to have the dart shoot into her leg. The green liquid stung as it entered her blood. "Cole-" Before she could say anything else, she fell into Cole's arms and passed out do to the pain that shot through her body.

I decided to go where I always went when I was seriously pissed off...the training area. I went there, and started pushing myself harder than I usually did, to help me forget what was going on outside of that room.

I got up and went to the music room. I sat on a stool and put my head in my hands, trying to get my thoughts together. I got up and walked over to the piano then sat down and started playing random songs. I closed my eyes, not bothering to look at the keys.

As they got to the end of the roof, Cole stopped and was thinking of any possible ways, the could escape from their chasers. He turned towards Lake as he heard her calling him, but he did not expect her to fall into his hands. Worry could be heard in his voice. As Lake could not answer any of his questions and the only information he got was that she felt intense pain. He touched the roof and turned his body alike. He jumped down to the swat team, and finished them off in 5 minutes. Getting back, Lake was still unable to really tell him anything, so he just got her in his arms, made a hole in the ceiling, and went through several rooms, looking for help.

After a short but tiring workout, I had grown tired of the repetitive excercies and went to try and find something else to distract myself. I walked passed the music room, and poked my head in. Aurora was there, playing the piano. Perfect I thought to myself This will help distract me. Without a word I entered the room and sat on a stool near the wall, listening intently to the music.

I finished the song I was playing and sat there in silence, unaware of anyone being in the room with me. I stared down at my ands as I tried to think of another song to play, with no success. Next thing you know he'll be pinning us against each other I thought and sighed softly.

Lake lay in Cole's arms as he was looking for help. Her view was green tinted and she felt something move over her skin, she couldn't move to check what it was, but feeling the thick liquid drip from her fingers she knew it was blood.

Seeing how Cole was panicking for her, for once, she actually didn't want to die. She knew she was going to regret it later, like always, but maybe she'd give him a chance, since he hadn't had a second one yet, the same thing goes for that silent girl that she hadn't said a word to yet.

But when she felt blood coming from her eyes and nose and her heart hammering against her chest with the speed of a train, she knew she would die if they wouldn't find Tobias for answers.

Cole hold her there, in his arms. Seeing that Lake started bleeding, he was desperately looking for help. He didn't even notice, that something dripping on his face. He was crying. As he rushed through an other room, he finally found Tobias. "Help!" He shouted out loudly, with worry, anger and several other feelings in his voice."You have to help her! Please!" He continued as his voice changed because of him crying.

Sapphira had stood and watched while the others finished the men off. She was s no use in a fight. Now, she mad her way down the hallways. I knew it was a test, she thought grimly to herself. She walked by the room where. Aurora was playing piano. She leaned against the doorway, listening, until the girl stopped.

She hadn't even noticed me yet, so I sneaked up behind her and whispered in her ear so close that she could feel my breath on her neck "That was beautiful."

I jumped and blushed lightly as I interlocked my fingers together. "I figured you wanted to be alone so I came in here," I said quietly and looked down, unsure of what else to say.

"I'm ok with being with someone now as long as its you" I said, smiling wryly "But if you still want to be alone, I can go?"

I frown slightly, and I look at him. "I never wanted to be alone in the first place. I was just giving you space," I admitted as I brought my knees up and rested my chin on them.

"Ok from now on you don't need to give me space unless I specifically ask for it" I said taking her hand and sitting next to her "Whatever problems we have, we go to each other. Then we deal with it, together, okay?"

I shrugged slightly and nodded, "Okay." I hadn't had anyone to solve my problems with since before my mother died, but I would never admit they out loud. I pulled my hand away from his and started playing the song I had written down before the town incident. I avoided smiling as I started singing and concentrated on the words.

I was swaying with the music when I noticed something in the doorway. It was Sapphira. "Oh...uh her Sapphira" I said uncomfortably "We were...just going" I tugged on Aurora's sleeve to try and say 'This is kinda awkward, should we go?'

I stop playing and jump up seeing her. "Oh. Umm...yea," I said giving a polite smile as I quickly walked out. I headed down the hallway to my room and went in.
