"right on the money. Follow me. I'll show you the way in." and so, Emily wandered the streets for a roughly four minutes. "here we are." she then walked in to one of the houses. She went to the old fridge in the kitchen. "this, I think, is the coolest secret passage I know exists." she punned horribly. She opened the fridge. "ordinary fridge." she said. The fridge was empty. She then closed it. "bam, suddenly door." indeed a door had opened in the floor nearby. It was narrow, and rather dark. "In you go." Emily encouraged them. She proceeded to enter. Then came peppa, and Scarlet. Scarlet actually take perch on Emily's shoulder and offers the jar back. "why, thank you. I have a bigger jar in my room that you can have some of. Do you like scratches?" she offered one, making a C with her fingers. Scarlet measly tilted her head in confusion. "here. Try it." Emily then gently scratched scarlet behind her head. Scarlet was instantly in heaven. She tilted her head so to direct the scratch to the optional location.

 

[Telios]

Tupus shrugged and jumped in down the passage, followed by Zack.

 

[azimuth]

Zack was hesitant. He had claustrophobia from living in a dog crate of a cell for so long. But, he followed. There were only twenty four steps until they came to an elevator. A miners elevator. "I'm not getting in that." zack said. "hey, you said you were coming to haven. It takes two at one time, so me, Tupus, and Scarlet here can go down first. It's tight, but once you get to the bottom, you won't mind the trip." Emily opened the cage of an elevator and got in. "it's quite simple. Just push the green button." she waited for Tupus to get in with her.

 

[Telios]

Tupus got in, hesitant to leave Peppa with Zack but he sighed and went into the elevator.

 

[azimuth]

Emily closed the cage, and hit the green button. The elevator slowly descended. It was only a few metres until they came upon some rails along the wall. The elevator twisted somehow, so the rails lined up with the wheels that supposedly guided the elevator to keep it from spinning. "it's going to let us go, but don't worry. It's normal. Like a roller coaster. It has magnetic brakes at the end. Three.." Emily gently grabbed scarlet from her shoulder and held her. "Two... One.." the cable let go, and they free fell for a hundred metres, slowing to a gentle halt at the bottom. Scarlet was wide eyed and clung to Emily's shirt. Scarlet seemed thinner, too. Less poofy. Emily opened the cage and stepped out into the neat, tidy, white room. "you can let go now." she said to Scarlet. Who did let go. And Emily placed her on the ground.

 

[Telios]

Tupus didn't phase as the elevator dropped, still looking around the room. Once it stopped, he walked out of the elevator to the white room. His eyes stung a bit from the bright light.

 

[azimuth]

Emily hit red button, and the elevator was pushed back up the shaft. "well, here we are. Go wherever there isn't a keep out sign."

 

[Telios]

Tupus nodded and started to wander around. "Still alone..." He mumbled as he arrived at an underground garden. He sighed and sat down on the bench, setting the box next to him... "Tupus!" Someone called him. He turned around to look for who had called him.

[azimuth]

The garden area would be huge. Stalactites (or stalagmites. Which ever ones hang from the roof) reach down to the floor, some acting as natural supports. There would many lights hung from the ceiling, which help to keep the plants alive, as they are the main source of clean air. Scarlet had followed Tupus, waddling through the halls with him. She too snapped her head to the one who had called.

 

[Telios]

Three wolf hybrids, two adults and a girl who all have black ears and tail, similar to Tupus, ran over to Tupus and hugged him. All Tupus managed to say is a surprised yelp as they hugged him. "Wh-Wha--"

Scarlet flew up to the branch of a small tree nearby and watched the event. Little did she realise she landed next to another short-eared owl... The one Emily had mentioned as one of her best friends.

 

[Telios]

"Who are you and how do you know my name?" Tupus asked the adults as they let him go. "You might not remember this but we are your parents and this is your little sister." The man said.

 

[azimuth]

The little sister would not have let go. She clung to him tightly. "hello, Tupus!" she beamed up to him. Zack, Peppa, and Emily arrived. Emily was running from Zack. "YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THE DROP!!!" Zack yelled at her, but Emily just laughed. "I figured you needed a fright!" she giggled. Peppa had her head down, seemingly on a mission to find something.

 

[Telios]

"H-Hey..." Tupus said to his sister. Nathan, the man, laughed at Zack when they arrived while Lyra, the woman came over to her children with a smile. Tupus looked up at his parents and sister before holding his head, feeling dizzy as memories about his parents, family, friends, which were locked away from him, started to come back.

 

[azimuth]

Julie looked up to Tupus. "what's wrong? Are you okay?" she asked.

 

[Telios]

"I-I'm fine... Julie..." Tupus smiled, hugging her. "You remember us..." Lyra said softly with a smile.

 

[azimuth]

Emily and Zack had gone elsewhere, but Emily returned without Zack. "hay Nate. Lyra. Julie." she greeted. "habe you seen Magnus?" Magnus would be the name of the short-eared owl she mentioned.

 

[Telios]

"Magnus?" Tupus asked. "Magnus is Emily short-eared owl. And no, i don't think i've seen him (her?) lately..." Nathan answered.

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet happened to look to her left, and the sudden realisation of Magnus being right next to her was enough to surprise her and fall out of the tree. Emily looked around to the bush scarlet would have landed in. "well, there's Scarlet." she said with a giggle as she went to help Scarlet out of the bush. "what gave you a fright?" she asked as she did so. Once free, Scarlet pointed up to where she had perched. Sure enough, there sat the male short-eared owl, who seemed not to have moved. Emily walked around the bush and nabbed Magnus out of the tree. He didn't resist... He didn't do anything. "hey, are you okay?" Emily asked him. He seemed to snap out of a trance. Emily allowed him to stand on his own. "there ya go. Did you scare our new friend?" she asked, glaring at him. Magnus performed a series of beak clacks, which was perfectly executed morse code. "not on purpose. Who is she?" he asked. "Scarlet. Why, you love her?" she asked, teasingly. Magnus nodded. "oh, wow." Emily said. "what did you do, stare at her like a stalker?" though she was joking, Magnus responded truthfully. With a nod. "creep. Go clean your nest. Or even better. Introduce yourself to her." Emily urged. Magnus looked to Scarlet, who would actually be battering her eyelids at him. Magnus fell off Emily's arm, and she had to catch him. "oh my gosh, he fainted!" Emily laughed. Scarlet also started churring and ended up upside-down in the shrub again.

 

[Telios]

Tupus snickered as he watched the two owls. "That was quick." Nathan and Lura smiled, amused.

 

[azimuth]

"I'll say." Emily said. "I'll put him back in his bunk. Hopefully he'll think you were a dream, and we can toy with him later." Emily said, in Scarlets direction. Scarlet nodded. "well, meet these guys for now. They're cool. I'll be right back." and so she set off, Magnus in hand. Scarlet flew up onto Nathan's shoulder, and hooted in greeting.

 

[Telios]

"Hello..." Nathan smiled, holding out a hand as if asking permission to pet her.

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet would allow it. Peppa would be hidden in a bush behind where your had sat. Her beak slowly emerges from it and reaches for the box... Julie somehow spotted her, and went over. "hello? Who's that in there?" she asked, curiously. Peppa froze for just moment, but then continued to try and open the box from where she was. "oh, you're hungry... Come with me!" Julie the bolted away, and Peppa did decide to follow. She ran from the bush, quickly catching up.

 

[Telios]

"Oh I forgot about her..." Tupus said, walking over to get the box. "I guess there's food in there?" Lyra asked and Tupus nodded as an answer.

 

[azimuth]

Zack arrived. "where did she go." Scarlet thought something to him. "how about you just tell me where she went." zack said, scarlet thought another thing to him. "ugh! Fine. Hello! My name is Zack!" he said, with a fake smile. He looked at scarlet again. "happy?" scarlet shook her head.
