Escapists (1x1) [Telios & Azimuth]

[azimuth]

"Saint Aggie's. A group of glaux awful owls bent on destroying us guardians and generally taking over the owl kingdoms."

 

[Telios]

"Wait, guardians? You guys are guardians?" Nathan asked.

 

[azimuth]

"the guardians of Ga'hoole." said both Azimuth and Twilight at the same time. "someone's heard the tales." Twilight said, gesturing to Azimuth. "I know more than you think I do, mister Twilight." Azimuth still seemed shell shocked as he spoke. "is that so? What can you tell me, that I wouldn't know." Azimuth bore no hesitation to respond. "you're a terrible singer." he began. Twilights eyes widened for a moment, then narrowed on Azimuth as he continued. "digger makes bad owl puns." "I can agree on that, at least..." Twilight muttered. "there is a place in the roots where one can eavesdrop on the parliament..." Twilight yawned. "old news." "Kludd is still alive." Twilight suddenly shrank to almost half his size.

 

[Telios]

Nathan just let them talk, looking out at the scenery.

 

[azimuth]

From his perch up on a branch, Twilight flew down, landing in before Azimuth. "you need to come with me." he said.

 

[Telios]

Nathan just sighed and sat there.


Meanwhile, Perdo started to wake up with a loud groan.

 

[azimuth]

Gylfie would have hung about to keep an eye on him, even though he was in safe talons. She walked forwards now to examine him. The infirmary owl shooed her away. "just be patient, miss Gylfie." he said with a churr. "sorry. And miss Gylfie is unnecessary." the infirmary owl then turned to Perdo. "are you awake? How are you feeling?" asked the barred owl.

 

[Telios]

"I'm a bit tired..." Perdo said, trying to get up.

 

[azimuth]

Neither of the other owls tried to stop him. "been staying awake late in the day, have you?" he asked.

 

[Telios]

"N-Not really..." Perdo said, not wanting to tell them the real reason while he fell unconscious.

 

[azimuth]

Gylfie knew, she was there when he collapsed. She was the one to collect the infirmary owl. "that's good. If you do take a nap during the night, be sure to avoid the moonlight." Gylfie shuddered while the infirmary owl spoke. "don't want you to get accidentally moon blinked. You may leave." he concluded. "I'll walk you back to your hollow." Gylfie said.

 

[azimuth]

Gylfie knew. She was the one to collect the infirmary owl. "that's good. If you do decide to take a nap during the day, be sure to avoid the moonlight. Don't want to get accidentally moon blinked. You may leave." he concluded, and Gylfie shuddered when he said moon blinked. "I'll walk you back to your hollow." Gylfie said.

 

[Telios]

Perdo started to walk back to his hollow with Gylfie. He felt chills now and then thanks to that painful flashback.

 

[azimuth]

"so," began Gylfie. "for the sake of general conversation, where did you come from?"

 

[azimuth]

((ugh, just saw the double post. Tapatalk didn't show that I posted! Sorry...))

 

[Telios]

(It's fine.)


"I'm not sure where it is exactly... Due to i was out when Twilight got me back here." Perdo answered.

 

[azimuth]

Gylfie looked at him with a puzzled expression. "you don't remember where you lived?"

 

[Telios]

"I don't know... Must have bumped my head somewhere..." Perdo sighed. "I somewhat remember what it looks like but i don't know in what direction from here and what its name."

 

[azimuth]

"go on. I'll see if I can guess it." she said with a light churr.

 

[Telios]

"I think i was living in the canyons..." Perdo said.

 

[azimuth]

Gylfie stopped. "the St. Agelious Canyons?" she asked.

 

[Telios]

"I think that was it... I got out to a desert before i collapsed..." Perdo answered.

 

[azimuth]

"let me get this straight. You lived in the Saint Agelious Canyons? No owl in their right mind would live there, it's far too dangerous."

 

[Telios]

"I don't know..." Perdo groaned. "I said that i only somewhat remember where i lived..."


 
Perdo continued to walk quietly, feeling a headache coming up.
