Escapists (1x1) [Telios & Azimuth]

[Telios]

Perdo nodded and spread his wings as wide as he can. Soon he was regaining his balance and started to glide again. He sighed and started to fly up to the branch Ezlyrb was standing on.

 

[azimuth]

the other two owls followed, perching opposite. "boy, you went yeep. Some bad memories hit you at a bad time, eh?" Ezlryb asked.

 

[Telios]

Perdo nodded with a groan. "I need to get over it..."

 

[azimuth]

Ezlryb turned to the two other owls. "your work is done here. Tell your stories to the other owlets." "yes, Ezlryb." said the barn owl, and the two flew away. "follow me to the library. We shall walk." Ezlryb began to climb down, managing to keep his grip, even with a missing talon.

 

[Telios]

Perdo nodded and followed Ezlryb.

 

[azimuth]

Ezlryb took his place behind his desk. There was a pile of dried caterpillars, from which Ezlryb took one and crunched on immediately.

 

[Telios]

"So why am I here?" Perdo asked.

 

[azimuth]

"explain to me exactly what happened to your parents. Every last detail." he said, and crunched another bite from the caterpillar.

 

[Telios]

"D-Do i really have t-to?" Perdo's voice shook immediately when he heard Ezlryb commanded.

 

[azimuth]

"no." he said. "but you may get flashbacks mid flight again. I don't want a dead owlet on my talons because a bad memory brought him down. If you wish, you may fly back to the hollow you were staying in."

 

[Telios]

"Gnngh..." Perdo groaned and sighed. "Alright. I'll explain. Three days before when Twilight rescued me, my parents and I were attacked by other owls. I didn't know why but my parents told me to ran away so I did." He then stopped, facing his back at Ezlryb. "I of course was too weak against them so I ran away. I had a glimpse of them getting killed. I ran away three days without having any food or water. I collapsed and blacked out right just before Twilight rescued me."

 

[azimuth]

Ezlryb furrowed a bushy eyebrow. "describe these owls."

 

[Telios]

"I can't... I only remember their silhouettes and even those are not really detaile--" Perdo answered before collapsing from a flashback of the same thing he told. He seemed in pain before stop moving whatsoever. Seems that he passed out.

 

[azimuth]

Ezlryb gave a grunt. "Gylfie, stop hiding behind that book and go fetch an infirmary owl." the elf owl closed the box on advanced magnetics and set off for the infirmary. Ezlryb leaned over Perdo. "I hope these owls are not the ones I think they are." he muttered to himself.


Meanwhile while, back with Nathan and Azimuth. Azimuth began to stir

 

[Telios]

"Finally awake, sleepyhead?" Nathan asked Azimuth.

 

[azimuth]

"uuggh. Why do I have a HEADACHE!" Azimuth groaned. "he's not a first black owl, now, isn't he." twilight remarked.

 

[Telios]

Nathan rolled his eyes.

 

[azimuth]

"I need a bath." Azimuth got to his feet, somehow not realising where he was. He was headed for the water.

 

[Telios]

"This isn't 'Heaven', you know." Nathan pointed out.

 

[azimuth]

"don't care!" he said opening his wings a little to emphasise his lack of care. He then dove into the shallow water to bathe.

 

[Telios]

Nathan sighed with a smile.

 

[azimuth]

"Ooohh, fish." suddenly, Azimuth was chasing small fish along the shore. Twilight couldn't help but churr. "nor is he the brightest." he said.

 

[Telios]

"He isn't the brightest." Nathan shook his head.

 

[azimuth]

It was like something physically struck Azimuth. He seemed to trio over his own talons and tumble Into the water. He flailed a little u tail he righted himself and crawled ashore. "but to tell the truth, I have seen owls with darker sparks than this. Those Saint Aggie's fools never stood a chance against me." continued twilight. "Saint Aggie's?" breathed Azimuth In disbelief.

 

[Telios]

"Saint Aggie's?" Nathan asked curiously.
