"Other than killing Violet? No." She said quietly. She led him to a bedroom, and directed him towards a closet.


"It's all yours."


She stepped out.


"I'll be showering and uh, fixing the arm." She gestured to the last room in the hall, "that's mine. Come in whenever."

"Sure, let's head inside," said Ronda.


Lily was enjoying the tour, as she always liked being around wealth like this, and Geroge just curiously observed everything.

"The kitchen is over there." The man pointed at a foggy glass door. "You should see the feasts we prepare in there. If I'm not mistaken, they're making one for you already." He smiled. "Let me show you the music room..." He said, taking them through the huge dining room which had a long table in the middle. The table was big enough to seat several dozen people.

"I can't believe you managed to land this job," said Lily to Ronda. "This has to be the most amazing place I've ever seen."

"This is the music room." The man opened the door to a room frozen in time. From antique pianos to harps, the luxuriously decorated room was positioned in such a way that it resembled a miniature concert hall. "Mistress' bodyguard plays the violin perfectly. We gather to listen when the mistress allows. Which is often." He added with a wide smile.

Dan nodded and walked to the room she told him to go to, and he found some shirts and jeans. He put on a black pair of jeans and black shirt.

"Oh, we'll have so much fun together." The man clapped and headed to the next room. "This is the lounge. The mistress usually relaxes here when she needs some private time..." He opened the door to Violet and a staff member in a fine suit and a purple tie.


"...Shoot." Violet finished a sentence and looked over her shoulder as she handed something to the man. "Oh." She said, pushing the man's hand behind his back as he was holding something resembling a gun. "I assumed you were shown the inside of the mansion first. "Violet smiled kindly, standing in front of the other man. "How's the tour going?" She asked, smiling, while the staff member behind her put the item into his pants pocket.

"You can play an instrument?" Violet gave her a surprised smile. "That's amazing. It's been so long since I had someone artistic here..." She paused, staring through Ronda. "Most of my staff lose their drive to create after a time." She said as her smile slowly faded. She cleared her throat and focused on Ronda with a smile again. "I'm glad you like the estate. I hope you'll come visit often." She shrugged. "Maybe even move in if your job switch goes well." She smiled. "The dinner." She exclaimed. "I spoke to One, he agreed to come to dinner tomorrow evening, after his speech."

"I think it's best if we discuss it in privacy." She said and looked at the tour guide. "Why don't you show them the library. Maybe pick out a book for them to read. An appropriate one." She added and looked at the man behind her. "Georgie. Wait for me in my room. I should be with you eventually." She said and the man walked off with a smile and a nod.

Once everyone left, Violet sat on one of the padded, dark leather sofas. "It must be luck that I hired you." She smiled. "I don't know how I'd get the job I have for you done without you."

Ronda sat on a chair across from Violet and asked, "What do y'all need me to do?"

Sage entered the room a short time later, turquoise hair sodden, in nothing but a fluffy white towel. The wound in her shoulder was completely gone. She sat down on the bed, crossing one mile-long-leg over the other.


"I see you've found everything nicely."

"There's something I need to be transported. Something extremely delicate that belongs to my company." She crossed her legs. "Millie will be the ELE escort but the problem is... The ELE doesn't have any large vehicles that can handle the transportation. I also can't just hire a vehicle since the MP can search it. The MP, however, has big trucks built for transportation. They also won't search their own trucks driven by their own people." Violet smiled. "Do you see where I'm going with this?"

Dan's face got red again, just a little, he was starting to get used to this. "Yep...I see your wound healed up, I worked on tanks, so I'm pretty sure I could have helped you patch that up..." he said, smiling at her, her eyes still nice and blue. "I'm just glad we can take a breather here...Feel safe y'know..?" he said. "Want me to make us something to eat or...are you not able to eat...?" he asked, feeling bad for asking that question.

"Ah do indeed see where yer goin' with this. Ah could probably arrange fer th' package to be put on a supply transport. Of course, ah'd be with th' transport too."

"You'd be the only one on the transport. I need this as quiet as possible. The transportation would happen once One's speech is over. You'd blend right in with the rest of MP vehicles as they head back to bases." Violet smiled. "There is absolutely no danger and the only problem for you would be getting the vehicle. Once that's done, Millie will take you over to the mansion where the two of you will accompany me on a meeting. I need to intimidate someone and I don't believe I'm scary." She chuckled. "I'll just need the two of you to stand by me to show that I have friends in the MP and ELE." Violet raised her eyebrows. "Is that alright with you? You'll have a busy day if you accept the job."

Thorn was sitting at a conference table in the ETU HQ. The combination of uppers to fight many sleepless nights and downers to keep her calm was in careful balance, resulting in extreme anger. Waiting for the meeting to start certainly wasn't helping her.
