Futuristic Eluvian Bounty

[Neon Stack]

Make landed her ship about 2 kilometers away on a tall mountain. Looking at the blue grass and the red water in the distance gave her a very surreal feeling. She grabbed the rifle from her back and expanded it, laying prone and placing the tripod on the ground. Looking through the scope, she found Jack and Maia and kept them in her view.

Jack looked at Maia and grumbled at the way that someone could treat such a beautiful thing in such a terrible way, he clenched his fists in anger before looking ahead at the roughly cut path in front of them before deciding to change the subject "C'mon.... We've got a long and unpleasant walk ahead of us" He said in a soft tone before beginning to walk down the track.

The hylotl shrugged before crouching down like a cat and then launching himself backwards, he landed on the edge of a bench and then launched himself forward towards the cook, landing on his shoulders he dropped down while dragging his sword along his back. Once he reached the bottom of the cook he sliced his legs out before kicking them both out as well, sending the cook onto his knees.

The cook screeched loudly then turned around and swung a couple of his butched knifes making to make comtact with the mans arm

Maia nodded cautiously forcing the memories of her captivity out of her mind for the time being "Alright" she followed after him. She was alert to her surroundings unsure of what kind of beings lived on this planet. She watched him for a couple minutes her mind was racing with different thoughts. Mika eventually got up her cheeks where stained red and she got out of bed her face going cold amd emotionless "why did i ever thing a human could love a robot" she said to her self as she slowly started for the door her clothing changing to some sort of black suit as she moved through the house to a garage that was there and went in and got on a hover bike and sniffled a little "why did i think he would truly care for me" she mumbled before a helmet appared over her head and she turned the bike on then raced from the garage and off the mansion grounds

The hylotl rose both swords so that they were on both sides of his body, he blocked both side of the cooks attack before kicking his left leg out of him. The hylotl stood atop the cook's body before placing one foot to what looked like his neck "Such a cruel person" He stated before kneeling down and placing both blades to his neck "Give. Her back. Her money" He said through gritted teeth.

"F-fuck you" the cook spat at the man as it struggled to breath or move from its injuries

Jack continued to walk through the path before stopping in front of what looked like a tiny village, he stared at the village for a few seconds before pushing through the bushs and shrubbery then proceeding down a small slope and then into the village. The whole village seemed to be abandoned with most of the doors left open and crates and anything else tipped over as though someone tried to make a speedy getaway, Jack kept his vision fixed straight ahead instead of looking around.


 
The hylotl chuckled "Awww.... Its cute when it struggles" He stated before tightening the blades closer to the cooks neck.

Maia blinked curiously watching his strange behavior. She wondered if he had any connection to the village. She kept looking forward past him but asked softly "are you ok?" She glanced sideways at him. He seemed tense and on edge. She looked around at the village it gave her chills, how was it not filled with collectors? @The Jackal

Jack nodded slightly before looking over his shoulder at her "I'm fine" He said simply before continuing through the village to another cut out path, he continued until the path began to turn into a steep incline and he had to change his pace to stop himself from falling back, he looked back at Maia and he seemed to stop tensing and actually smiled a bit. He stopped when they neared a large security gate which had signs all over it Stop ! Authorised Personnel Only was on the fence and as Jack neared the fence he stared at the sign before chuckling and climbing the fence, he sat on the middle and put his hand out to help Maia "Here" He said before pulling her up.

Where are they headed?





Makeda kept a close eye on Jack as he climbed the fence. What was all this about? Where was he headed? And why was she being paid to follow him?

Deren kept walking through the city aimlessly, he felt lost, he eventually sat down on a bench and stared at the floor, he didn't know what to do next, but he couldn't be bothered right now.

Kazdan quickly sets up his rifle, peering through the scope as he watches Makeda. She has a helluva bounty on her head, and his client made sure she'd be in the right place, while he'd prefer a clean kill, he decides to have a little fun, he grins mischievously as he fires a shot straight at the barrel of her weapon, if he measured correctly, the laser should melt the barrel clean off, and give her quite the scare. @Neon Stack

The cook couched a little as it tried to get free from him but there was no use

The hyotl grinned and within a few seconds he twisted both blades into a scissor shape before closing the swords together, decapitating the cook completely. The hylotl stood and flicked the blood from his swords before kneeling down and taking the money from the cook's body, he turned to the girl again and handed her the money "Choose a better place to get food" He said simply before going to leave.

Annabel just watched him and slowly grabbed her money before she looked at it then frowned "wait!" She called as she got up and ran over as one one her black tentacles slipped out from under her dress holding two of the mans things

The hylotl stared at the girl and shook his head "Keep 'em... You may wanna leave the cops will be here pretty soon" He said simply before turning and walking back through the now abandoned cafe then out the door, through the streets before turning into an alleyway and seemingly disappearing.

Kazdan sits on his ship, smoking a cigar in his pilots seat. He watches his HUD, the picture of a man shows up on display, his information glaring at him. "Computer, set course for 23 Epsilon." He says out loud, the ship sets its course and zooms off. He stands and walks around before getting some rest, his ship would allow him to be there within the hour.


He arrives and stays in orbit of the planet for a little while before a coordinate map appears, he grins and sets the ship down on a landing pad, he transfers his HUD to his wrist pad before stepping off the ship, his bag of things on his back as he exits the dock, staring at his wrist pad. He takes up position on a building, the GPS tracker showing the target getting very close to him.


He sets up his laser rifle and aims down at the street below, his right eye closed and his finger wrapped around the trigger. "Kill Jack.." He mutters to himself before watching him step into the alleyway, he fires a shot before his eyebrows raise. "He's fucking gone.." He curses. @The Jackal

Maia narrowed her eyes but shook it off even thought she knew he was lying, she would get it out of him sooner or later it must be really bothering him if he's playing it off. She pulled herself up the steep slope her heels helping give her leverage and grip on the rough terrain Maia grinned seeing the sign and smiled she was about to start climbing when he offered his hand. She blinked a couple times before taking his help and hoisting herself up. She smiled at him and looked at the temple "Must be something important for all this" she looked at the security. @The Jackal
