Fantasy Elemental War(always accepting!)

Kai twitched, looking out the window of her bedroom. "Would you hold that thought?" She asked with the flick of her fingers swiftly turning into a gust of wind and back into physical form scanning the kingdom for any signs of damage. "The last thing I need is an interruption." She said walking on air while putting on her sandals now dried with blood

Ender was right about to respond, but before he had he chance Kai excused herself and disappeared. I proceeded to get up and walk over to the window in her room. "You go have fun now, I'll just wait here, I guess." He shouted while poking his head out of the window.

Minuets later she came back, brushing off her robe "I apologize for the interruption. It was very uncivil of me to leave you hanging like that. Now then about the subject we were on. What did you want to say?"

High noon was presenting its self, Queen May sat at her own private dining table. It had enough room for three more people at the most, her small plate of sushi being nibbled on as she watched out the window. The land was mostly covered in lakes, rivers and even an ocean was off to the south of the boarders. Her castle was placed right in the middle of her district, so she could see all sides of life for her people. there were four areas split off, one for the ocean, one for the lake, one for the rivers and another for plains meant for a pure trade and shopping. Some land creatures being farmed in small places, but the water folks mostly ate from what the water provided.

A guard knocked on her private quarters door, slipping inside with a bow. "Mam, the noon patrol has spotted fire soldiers in the lands now. They have officially crossed the boarders" his voice was urgent, they would not attack nore gather up the scouts without permission from the royal. She waved her hand gently "gather them up, bring them to the castle, they will all stay outside but the party leader. Bring that one to the throne room, do not attack unless needed, and do not kill!" she flashed a look at him of seriousness, before proceeding with her lunch. The guard bowed and quickly fled the room to the troops, were they would send out a party much greater in size then fire scouts who would had and proceeded on there hunt for the invading troops.

Edith tapped May's shoulder.

"Hey...Your highness."

Edith bowed and said something in Japanese.

"I am the advocate for the Earth Kingdom, I came to tell y-you that the leader, Trebuchet, wants a council meeting to discuss ending the war peacefully."

Edith swallowed hard and tucked a strand of green hair behind her ear.

"I think he's coming right now..." She said, feeling a slight tremor underneath her boots.

May flinched and turned quickly, not noticing that some girl had actually entered her personal quarters, without notice. Her mouth fell open a bit, and her eye brows stitched upwards. "How.....did you get in here?" she asked gently, eyeing the girl up and down for a moment. before standing up and brushing her kimono off. "The earth leader is coming? more guests in one day I suppose, very well. come along" she spoke softly, leaving her sushi on the table and exiting the room. Waiting for the girl to follow her, she wondered if the guards had let her in, without telling her? that was strange? her mind raced for a moment with question, probably ignoring anything the girl would say or if she was even there now. Walking into her thrown room, it completely changed , instead of the pure white marble like th rest of the castle, it was a literal see through room of water. Fish of every type were swimming in the walls, especially sharks every type of shark you could think of. The walls were extremely thick, so they wouldn't be able to bust through, but it was like actually being under water, the floor to the ceiling was nothing but fish and sharks. Sitting in a pile of giant cushions, she offered the girl a seat on one infront of the throne and smiled.

"So, whats this about ending to this war?"

"Trebuchet wants everything to be peaceful agai-"

The marble flooring in front of Edith opened suddenly and Trebuchet rose through the hole. Edith backed up a little bit, then settled down after she saw him seal the hole with more marble.

"Aye, Missed me?" He gestured at Edith and turned back to May.

"So, uh, I forgot yer name but, Lady..."

He tried to think of words.

"Is there a way I can help with the flame-fuckers over yonder? I ain't gonna hurt anyone, I'll just make 'em not kill anyone else, heh heh..."

The night before the invasion, Inside Fire Kingdom headquarters:

K, the leader of the fire kingdom, sat at the head of a large roundtable. Seated at the table were the generals of his army, but they did not behave like most generals. They behaved like common thugs. The fire kingdom’s forces were run more like a gang than an army. Most of the men at the table were K's friends. He had fought along side them in many battles. But today was not a day of battle, today was the dawn of war.

K was a man of few words, but when he did speak, he spoke with great presence. He stood and the whole room quieted. “Fire cannot be contained. Once it starts, it never stops. It spreads far and wide, devouring everything in it’s path. Today is the day we spread. We will burn our enemies to the ground and leave nothing but ash.” Then he calmly sat back down. The men were shocked. They had never heard K string so many words together in his entire life. They all yelled and banged their fists on the table. One man stood up and hollered, “Hell yeah! The whole world is our turf!” K smiled and sunk back in his chair. The rest of the night was filled with buffoonery and merriment.

In the morning they finished preparations and began the invasion of the water kingdom. K led the charge and they tore through the border with little opposition. They marched onward, leaving only smoke and ash behind.

The 42nd Division lined along the wall of the Water kingdom. Archer's equipped with metal arrows, Cannons and rifles ready to fire, as well as the most dangerous attack. Several large piles of rock and metal, all ready to be flung at the army if they got too close. Trebuchet looked over the 42's with great pride. If allies had to become enemies, this is where it would happen. Pits covered by stones only a Geokenisis user could open. Weapons ready to fire, and a whole lot of ammunition for Earth and metal manipulators. Trebuchet was the first to go out, he went out alone and confronted the Fire leader's meager battalion.

And then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked!

Unaware of the blaze of smoke and devastation from their own nations surprise attack, the scouting party was ahead of the main invasion force engaged with water kingdom troops. Apparently someone had been expecting them. The poor scouting unit was outnumbered. So far everyone on both sides had been cautious not to cause any fatalities, although Logan had been wounded. He leaned on Markus as the two hurried away under the cover of a smokescreen while the other fire kingdom fighters attempted to distract the water kingdom soldiers. They needed a place to hide and regroup. Markus himself could barely see through his own smokescreen. They were in a wooded area and managed to take cover behind a log, the shouting from the skirmish still well within earshot.

Markus took a look at his comrade's injuries. He was badly bruised all over from high impact water attacks. The head injury looked the most serious, but Markus didn't think there was anything he could do. He then realized the shouting had stopped.

"Come out!" he heard a voice call. "We have you completely surrounded". Markus peeked over the log and saw the other 10 of his squadron on their knees with their hands behind their heads.

Markus leapt out from behind the log, his heart full of rage. How could his comrades just let themselves be captured like that? They were fire kingdom soldiers! Strong, proud warriors. He reached out his hand to send out his elemental powers, but then he hesitated. He simply stared at his companions, kneeling in front of his enemies. He then remembered the General's words about uncontrolled power. Burning his own unit was something he simply could not do.

He made another smokescreen instead. His eyes watering trying to gaze through his own smoke, he attempted to flank the water kingdom troops. He managed to strike flesh with his spear, resulting in a loud scream. He then saw something leap out at him from the smoke. It was another water kingdom soldier. Markus managed to whack the soldier with the other end of his spear, stopping his charge. He batted another soldier away before being struck in the head from behind. All the shapes he could see through the smoke became blurry and intermixed. He then collapsed, unconscious. The last member of this small scouting unit with the will to fight, the one who stood out for his ridiculous headgear, was down. The scouting party had been captured.

The 42's stood their ground, ready to open fire as Trebuchet converged upon the captured team. he set his hands on the shoulders of two water troops.

"Aye, thought ein' a water soldier yer spine would be soggy. But it looks like ya did well."

Trebuchet crouched at Markus. He peered into the eyes of the recruit.

"I thought the Earth and Fire factions were friends."

Trebuchet kicked Markus on his side and put the sole of his boot on top of his head.

"Ya go tell the other flame-fuckers that if they don't stop, the Earth faction will slaughter every single troop you sent out here. Including you. I ain't kiddin, runt."

He grinded the heel of his boot into Markus's ear and got off him

May looked over at the man who seemed to appear out of the wall, her eyebrows stitching upwards again. These people literally came out of no where, but she found it entertaining and laughed at the man for coming through a wall. Then tilting her head to listen to him, she spoke. "Well, I have heard news that scouts were in my home, but I'm not to afraid. I heard you want peac-" the throne room doors busted open, and some kid with a bucket on his head was throne into the middle of her flooring, being dragged by two guards.

"Madam, we have reason to believe this is the leader out of the group, he fought more resilient out of the rest who gave up like pansys." one guard spoke before leaving, and the other one came closer. "And on our way back, we spotted more fire district. this time, a lot more then scouts, and there heading this way" May nodded at him, watching the earth king beat up her guest who was just seeming to wake up. she stood up and gentle put a hand on the earth kings back. "Aye, I got this, okai?" kneeling down, she looked at the fire boy. tilting her head side to side, before offering a hand to help him up. "maybe you can help me, aye? Leo, take the troops, and make sure the fire district does no more then some cheap fire tricks while I talk to my guest" the knight nodded, running off, and she waited for the boy to respond.

"They don't mind my absence, as much as other countries would want my head on a stake. Now where was I? Ah yes, there have been some reports that say the fire leader is preparing for an all out attack on our mutual ally the water kingdom, and I was wondering if maybe perchance you would come and assist in their protection, if they should so desire it. Of course this doesn't mean that you won't be well compensated for your efforts in doing so. If you would agree to this proposal, then I myself and my country will come and aid you if you are ever in a time of need. You may even get the water kingdoms assistance as well, but I for one cannot guarantee it." Right as Ender finished speaking, Kyle, his strongest knight, burst through Kai's window. "Sir! We have news that the fire kingdom has started invading the water kingdom and are destroying everything in their path!" "Well that won't do." Ender said while looking over at Kyle. "Well then I'll be off miss, don't forget about my proposal, and I bid thee adieu." He said as he and Kyle both leaped out of her window. "Kyle, I need you to get back to our kingdom and rally up the forces." He said as he skated along an ice path he had created top get him to the water kingdom. "Will do sir." Kyle said as he turned around and headed back to the ice kingdom.

Markus' eyes darted around the room, gathering as much information as he could before getting up. His head really hurt at this point. He seemed intrigued by his new surroundings. His hand covering the area where Trebuchet's shoe had been a moment ago.

"Earth faction?" he said sounding tired. "Yea, we are friends, what does that have to do with anything?" suddenly seemed to remember something. Standing up quickly he looked around, unable to find his meelee weapons. He pointed at May "you're water kingdom, aren't you? What have you been plotting? We know you've been up to something, otherwise we never would have been sent in here!" he looked around again realizing the rest of his unit was absent. He turned to May. On his face was an expression of pure rage. His power was barely contained in his anger. Although he himself didn't realize it, there was a small flame in each of his palms as he stepped towards the water kingdom leader. "What have you done with my comrades?" he demanded.

May eyes lit up a bit, she could feel the heat radiating off him with rage. She was also confused by his words, sighing she moved her hand in a small motion The fountain off to the far right rose with a bit of water and floated through the air. Then splashed down on the boy so his fire would drown out a little, giving her a little breathing room since his own heat was taking the moister out of the air.

" your troops are perfectly fine, they are with my men at the moment. no harm will come to you, or them as long as you dont do anything out of line. and by the way a simple thank you, for making the earth king move off your face would have been nice." she turned around, and went back to her thrown of pillows, sitting cross legged on them and offered a pillow seat to both the fire boy and earth king. A maid stood off to the side offering anything they would need to drink.

"I have no idea what you mean by us planning anything, we have never attacked any sides. We stay to our self's completely, and mind our own business. your the one who proceeds to invade us. now what do you have planned? I will speak completely with honesty if you do the same, out of respect. for hopefully future peace?" she spoke softly to the boy, like she really did mean no harm to him. and waited for anyone response

The fire's in his palms weakened a bit, but didn't fully go out until May told him that his men were safe.

"The earth king?" his jaw dropped as he stared at Trebuchet. After a moment of gawking, his posture straightened and he saluted the king of the allied nation. "Markus Giles, fire kingdom, 12th attack battalion sir!". His arm came down, but he continued speaking very formally to Trebuchet. "Is what she's saying true sir? That they have no intention of invading the fire kingdom? If that is the case, we need to inform General Orwin, he's my commanding officer. I'm sure command will be relieved. Now we can re-focus the war on our true enemies, the kingdoms of Air, Ice and Weather". Markus then turned to May.

"I'm not authorized to broker any agreements with you, but if we can find my battalion's general, I'm sure he can arrange for you to speak to someone with that power. Oh, and it's no invasion ma'am, my battalion was sent in to gather information only. I know, some attack battalion, right?".

K and company came across a large wall of defense. Finally, some opposition. It seemed the defenders were Earth kingdom troops. Seemed the old alliances no longer held. K made a motion with his hand and his men charged forth. He whipped one of his hands around and summoned a large wall flames and sent it flying towards the wall of Earth soldiers. Just before it reached them he clenched a fist and a huge explosion errupted through the ground beneath them, causing their defenses to start collapsing.

Trebuchet looked at Markus and scoffed.

"All this fuckin' violence for no good reason. I just need this war to end, frickin' pointless if ya ask me."

Trebuchet's lighs on the front of his helmet blinked rapidly. He clenched his fists and summoned a circle of spinning chunks of rock around him and walked out of the temple.

"My battalion needs me." He said.

"A little dirt needs to snuff out the rest of the candles."

He jumped and seemingly vanished from sight.

42's stood their ground with walls of basalt. They then made a synchronized motion with their wrists and suddenly pushed the walls of rock forward at immense speed. The walls seemed to rush ahead at their own accord, knocking and shoving the fire soldiers onto their backs. Rifles fired and either killed or seriously wounded most of the other troops. The riflemen then shuffled to the back of the line to reload their muskets. A group of metal-summoners then shuffled to the front and started flinging the piles of sharp metal they collected in piles at the still standing troops, impaling their torsos, severing a limb, or jamming the shards right into their skulls. A river of blood started to pool around the boots of the 42's as they fired cannons, threw metal and rock, and fired more bullets in a deadly synchronized fashion. The 42's paused briefly to reload their cannons and spied only a few limping groups of soldiers left. Trebuchet walked to the front of the undisputed 42's and spoke to the remaining fire factioners.

"AYE! IF YA WANNA LIVE, STOP FIGHTIN' AND LAY DOWN ARMS BEFORE I GET THE DUSTDEVILS TO WIPE OUT THE REST OF YA!"

Trebuchet yelled, his neon lights placed upon the face of his helmet glowing brightly.

May sighed, for her it was easy to take things light hearted and slow. but everyone seemed to be in such a hurry, standing once again, she walked down to meet Marcus again. Her kimono hanging off both shoulders and looking as if it would fall right off her if it wasn't for the Obi around her waist keeping it together. "ill take you back to your men, you show me who to talk to. and so you know, it is an invasion, whether your leader told you so or not." she nodded out the window, and to the far off you could see the earth fighting off the raging fires of fire district. "now come along" she told him and walked out of the throne room were she would take him back to his group of men.

The earth district had done much damage to the fire, keeping the fire at bay till the water would do there fair share. Even though you could not have seen them coming, the lakes that lay on both sides of the earth and fires battle field rose up, before crashing down only on fire District. not even a sprinkle hitting the earth people, the water would knock anyone still standing to the feet. a small but fierce group of water folk stood in-front of the earths men. Spears ready at the fires throats, and one man took a step out from them. "Leave now, and no more harm will come to you. stay and we will drown you and use your body's as bait for the fishes we feed our children with!" there spears held high and waited for anyone's move.

Markus looked skeptical at first when told it was an invasion. After all, why would they invade before the scouts could report back? Then he looked out and saw the kingdoms battling. "Oh my god!" he shouted. "They invaded before the scouts could report back!". He was no general, but even Markus knew this was a bad tactical move, since their nation had so many enemies already. He followed the water leader as she escorted him out of the palace. He was also disturbed that the invasion was occurring in spite of allied troops in the line of fire.

"My squadron won't be able to do you any good. The one you need to talk to is the general. I'd wager he's out there somewhere". Markus motioned to the chaos in the distance. "If I can cross the fighting lines, hopefully they'll listen to my report".

Kai nodded, "I can gather some troops. Did you have any spies near the fire kingdom? I sent a few but haven't heard any reports back from them. Exact dates would be nice."

The 42's bowed and backed up, allowing room for the Water soldiers. They shouldered their muskets and lowered their arrows and cannons.

Trebuchet stood in the midst of the water troops, his blank stare gazing upon the felled and pinned fire troops.

"Now, Surrender, or face both the fury of the Earth and Water factions."

Kai, shook her head. Hopefully the water ruler isn't having too much trouble. Im sending my troops now, they'll get there soon or at least I hope

*Meanwhile the troops quickly assemble towards the water kingdom their stringlike, and deadly blades ready for any battle ahead*

Ender is throwing ice in front of himself and skates towards the water kingdom which he can see in the distance. He ends up making it to the front lines of the battle where Trebuchet with the help of the water kingdom's forces are currently subduing the fire nation. "Aw, why does he have to be here?" He says as he passes over Trebuchet on his way to find May. Ender eventually got to the palace(?) and skated through the door and down the halls looking for May. He passes through the throne room but couldn't find her there. He then proceeded to skate through the halls in search f her.
