Julie whom was already furious turns towards Bruce. "Who the fuck are you to raise your voice in this guild like that?!" She notices it's Bruce and slightly calms down. She tries to speak as calmly as she can through gritted teeth. "I decided it was a good idea to call you. Hekate had something urgent she has to say and requested all the guild members to arrive before she explains."

Bruce had backed away a bit when she turned to him but kept himself steady. His voice became semi-calm, rather seething with anger instead of it blowing up everywhere. "Listen, I'm living the good life now, a calm one where I don't have to worry about the threat of death. One where even if some idiot tries to kill me I can just kill them first. One where I'm rich! Where I'm respected. You can take this guild and this... Hentai or whatever they were called and shove it."

 

[Light]

Reed opened an eye and closed it again. "Well I'm Reed the water god. I got a call and so I came. I was hoping to find Hekate but instead I found you." He could sense where she was.

( The call would only go to those whom were apart of DR in the first place. Hekate is only here for help and explain some issue. I don't know why everyone keeps trying to find her as if she's the main or relevant focus. )

Bruce had backed away a bit when she turned to him but kept himself steady. His voice became semi-calm, rather seething with anger instead of it blowing up everywhere. I lost my mother because she was unable to bring herself to love my sister. My grandmother died due to that same war you willingly participated in! My sister has been in a comatose state for a year due to an incident she should have died in! My family has been falling apart while you've been living the life of a rich coward! You've been brought back! You don't know what I'd do just to see my grandmother once more!" Julie starts to growl but keeps things under control. "You have a second chance at life! You think we're not in danger as well? You could have had a family! Yet you killed them all.... for what? Because they used magic?! Is that the only excuse as to why you had to kill them? One goddess comes to us looking for help! A goddess Bruce! " Julie pushes Bruce back and slowly shakes her head. "You know what? You can go back to where you've come from. Live your luxurious life because I want none of it! This new you.... is nothing like the Bruce I've come to at least tolerate. My sister would be disappointed to learn of this when she awakens. If she even wakes up!" Julie starts to walk away from Bruce. "Coward."

Julie was about to respond to Reed when she heard Bruce's comment. She walks up to Bruce and gets in his face to the best of her abilities. "You want to talk about death?! Bruce took a few breathes to calm down, slowly unclenching his fists. "You know what, Julie? Fuck you. Okay. Fuck all of you. I've got that second chance and I'd rather not waste it getting myself killed for good for some goddess that I don't even know." He spreads out his arms and started backing up to the exit of the guild. "I don't care if you all die, just leave me out of it. I'm fine living like a coward because at least I'm living." He turns on his heels and leaves the capitol building and to the portal he came through in the first place back to his home.

How is she going to explain all of this to her sister? She doesn't even know what happened after she exploded. She didn't know the guild split apart and the world was slightly going to shit. She also didn't know Layla has died. She would also be sad to know Bruce turned out like this. Julie was starting to like him too. "There goes one member." She turns back to Reed. "Why do you need Hekate again?" She sits back down in her chair and runs her hand through her hair. Releasing a deep sigh.

A shadowed portal appears beside Julie, and Jackie and Maverick step out of it, Jackie looking less than pleased. Maverick leans over to Julie and whispers in her ear, his breath so frigidly cold it raises goosebumps on her skin, "She's a bit pissy right now, you might want to be care-" His entire essence is ripped apart, and despite Julie's rant, her gaze is still frigid, "Julie, for once in you goddamn life, shut the fuck up. You do realize that you are not the only one who has lost family, right? Ask Bruce about his family. He's sacrificed. He's given everything for this guild and for what? Nothing. He did it out of kindness, and you're taking it as something that was deserved. He doesn't have to be here. I don't either. Don't make us feel like we have an obligation to be here, because I could just as easily leave as he is leaving. Call him a coward if you want, call me a coward if you want, but there's nothing wrong with wanting a life that isn't constantly being threatened not because of something we did, which makes it different, but because some girl and her family keeps getting themselves waist deep in shit. I think you should watch yourself and calling out insults before we start classifying you as a disrespectful fucking brat that needs a lesson in courtesy."

Yig and Yiggy also step through the portal. They silently watch as their Vodka Aunt tears into Julie. Yiggy smiles slightly, while Yig's face remains impassive.

A coward, yeah, that's what Bruce was now, but he would get to live and that's all he wanted now. Fuck the guild, he had everything he wanted back at his home, security, a pool, a place to lay down by the pool, and a cooler full of beer to sip on. He tried all of this but still couldn't manage to keep the guild out of his head. Deep down he still cared, and there was only one way to stop himself from caring. Some good old Phil Collins. He plugged in his earbuds and turned up the music.

Kemet awoke suddenly feeling more relaxed and poised light headed and confused. Not one soul has ever disturbed him while he meditated. He leaves his room and glides down the stairs and sees bruce turn on his heels, all the people were beginning to arrive, kemet sat back and watched all the emotions from the past years come to light, his eagerness to introduce himself made him shake at the knees so many people so much energy, so much emotion.

I'm going to go check on Bruce, then I'm going to meet the guy upstairs-" She notices the Deku Kids, as she calls them, and smiles a bit, though she still looks like she's ready to backhand someone, "Glad to see Maverick didn't redirect you to Vegas again. That was a bit of a fiasco."

Yiggy smiles fiendishly. "I think that he's learned his lesson," she says cheerfully. Yig simply nods.


It was at that moment that a column of fire flashed up next to Jackie. The flames, disappearing as quickly as they had appeared, they were replaced by Alpha. Looking downwards at the shorter Jackie with his glowing red eyes, Alpha cracked a slight smile. "Thought you'd be here," he said with a slight grin.

kemet knew that from the looks of things, he was going to be doing a lot of back seat riding until he was needed

She practically jumps out of her skin as she leaps away from the fire column, making a very feminine shrieking noise. She looks up wide eyed at Alpha, looking less like the tough skinned Jackie and more like a very startled doe who has very narrowly avoided getting hit by a truck, but then her face breaks into a wide smile when she realizes who it is, and she throws her hands up in the air. "Dude! You scared the shit out of me!" She pulls him down from his height of 'break-your-neck-every-time-you-want-to-look-him-in-the-eye' and gives him a tight hug around his shoulders. "It's good to see you! I haven't seen you since the Riot Control showed up at Fiji!"

Hekate was watching everything from around the corner. She thought about introducing herself but decides not to. Unless even more show up then it would be a waste of both of their time to drag out anymore conversation. They seemed dependable, yet different from what she's heard. "They seemed more united in the tales I've been told."

The 10 year old goddess looks at the mirror and examines the symbol on her shoulder. It wasn't anything too special, just a power sealing mark. Which is why she can't access her powers and get out of the form of a 10 year old. She didn't know what she was going to say to the members. By the looks of it they all seemed agitated with being here already. Maybe she could leave out some pieces of the truth. She walks out the room and makes her way down the stairs. Thinking about what she should say.

Alpha narrows his eyes at Jackie, standing back up to his full height. Putting a hand on top of Jackie's head, he gently lifted her up to eye level. He held her there for a moment, his crimson eyes staring into her soul. "...Fuck you." he said, his face completely serious...for about half a second. Grinning, Alpha put Jackie down. "I was hoping you wouldn't remember that," he chuckled. Alpha then frowned, turning to look at Julie. "Why was I called here? I hope it was urgent, Hell won't run itself."@Light
