With nobody running the country, things were falling into ruin for America. It was as if the entire country was having a purge like the movie. Except this one was endless.


Other countries were pointing fingers at one another. Suspecting each other as traitors whom are hiding Dragon's Roar. North Korea and South Korea ended up going to war. They ended up obliterating each other which made North and South Vietnam follow the same actions with the same results.


The founder of the Dark Arts was on the moon, watching the deity realm portal orbiting around the Earth as well. It was slightly bigger than the planet but it's harmless and invisible unless you're in space and you intentionally go into it. It was on the opposite side of the moon. The founder knew the moon wasn't just a rock orbiting the Earth. "Continue to entertain me Dragon's Roar. I will get my hands on those key elements soon." She turns to a symbol on her arm and speaks into it. "Charge, kill, and don't stop until you hit the borders of America. Leave Alaska and Hawaii alone for now." With that, all the thousands of Meta Demon building up in New York and California burst out towards the other states.

Lucien noticed Dark's expression as she left and looked to Fayde who was in the midst of a sparring match with Altiera. Feeling that he should talk to her he dashed into the fray, quickly summoning his spear he blocked Altiera's punch with the flat of his spearhead, swiping Fayde's kick away with his hand they all paused. "Sorry to interrupt, but Fayde I think you should go with Dark, she seemed....I dunno it felt like something is wrong I don't know her well so I'll take over here while you do what you do." Fayde nodded but didn't move, "Going after her may be the exact wrong thing to do, Alice is in general a person that likes her space when troubled....but a lot has changed. You two continue maybe not so intense as before she may be having a bout of ptsd from the war so hearing the battle may make it worse. I'll go keep an eye on her." Fayde was gone in the next instant, moving so fast that he only left a small dust cloud and a hiss of wind behind. He slowed and landed in the tree branches a behind Dark his presence masked in an attempt to keep him hidden.

Witch turns around immediately, eyes wide. "What are you talking about? We've all lost a lot over the course of a year while we couldn't do a thing about it. I need Alexandra to be with someone to help her get herself together emotionally before we head out. I wasn't talking about sex!" Witch rubs the bridge of her nose and groans. "Felix... what am I going to do with you?"
Royal was sleeping but it seems like she was beginning to stir.


The Dark Arts members grab Jackie and take her towards the laboratory. They set her inside a room and lock the door. Which seemed to be 8 inches of steel. "I'm going to conduct some tests." A voice comes out of speaker in the ceiling. "Are you ready?" The person speaking seemed to be male.


Witch speaks to Sanctum in her mind again since she felt most of her abilities return to her. "Thank you. For now that will be enough since I think Dark and Apex won't end up in trouble. Is there anything you need from us? It's only fair."

Felix throws his hands into the air in surrender, "It sounded like that's what you were implying! It's not my fault I jumped to conclusions; every personality teases me for being an Incubus!" He grins, sitting down by Royal and propping her head so it's resting on his lap, "And I think we've established that I'm irredeemable in that aspect."

Jackie barely resists them dragging her, ignoring the shackles digging into her wrists, which have been sliced open by the metal. It just wasn't worth the effort to struggle anymore; they'd kill her or they'd kill Emily, and the last thing she wanted was to be blamed for a dead child. Once they throw her into the room, she simply lies down in the middle, closing her eyes. When the man speaks, she just sighs, "Sure. I'd love for you to make my life worse than it already is. Make me a lab rat."

"You could. It would certainly be a good idea, just prepare yourself for how they talk. It doesn't creep me out anymore but it definitely used to. I'm gonna continue training and maybe develop new techniques to use against the enemy." With that, he sat down on the ground with his legs crossed and his eyes shut.

"I'm getting the part about breaking the lock on my charging and I understand I have to focus, but what do you mean by letting it fuel me? Does it have something to do with emotions during battle and being calm?" Isaac had heard of letting rage fuel you and make you stronger. He'd even let his rage fuel him in battle before, but he didn't understand what they were talking about.

The twins nodded at him "Very close, but it's more about controlling those feelings and being able to work under them. Like now, you're calm but you could probably charge your attacks faster if you were under pressure. But at the same time you might be using too much energy. It's all about management of your energy and knowing your body."
