Justin was about to give her a run for her money in a game of cards. His grin fades as he slowly puts his hands into his pocket. "Not anymore. What's got you so down?"

She sighs, the sound tired, "You don't even know the half of 'down', kiddo," She closes her eyes, sure he won't pull a trick. She pauses a moment, judging how to phrase her words, her fingers tapping along her thigh in a subtle show of anxiety, "I guess you could say that New York doesn't have many fond memories for me. Or of me, if I think about it."

Bruce looks back at her, returning her smile. He thought that his little speech would amuse her but it seemed to have a different effect on her. Bruce was going to help fight the Dark Arts organization already to repay the guild and get some compensation himself. He knew that he'd also be doing the world a favor by helping to save it but now it seemed like he'd actually get some recognition for it and that someone was actually counting on him. Wow, he now had some motivation other than a debt or his own vengeance, this was definitely not what he was expecting to get from this fangirl.

Liliana walks down a street. "Well... there's a store down the street. It's close by my apartment." She looks at the abandoned streets. "Thank you for helping us."

Krios approaches them with his computer screens surrounding him. He was going to register them. He starts typing away at each screen swiftly. Words practically flying across the screen as he scans them. "Hello, I am Krios."


Little did they all know the Dark Arts were preparing to strike in the train cat behind them.
