Fantasy Dragons Reborn

Magnus Cain

Magnus was grateful for to Forest but he knew better. "That's alright bud I have a way to make us all happy if the miss hear would not mind me casting a spell on her." It was a trick Magnus had learned from his mother guaranteed to gain anyone's trust. "If I do this you will have no don't of my intentions.

Willow the Hydra

"I don't know," she said softly into his chest. She considered him for a moment, but she didn't really want to trust him. He did, after all, spy on them and he obviously didn't intend to reveal himself on his own. It was all suspicious to her. When the man offered to cast some vague magical spell on her, she was instantly more suspicious. "What?" she exclaimed, pushing Forrest off her to face the man. "You really think I'm going to let some shifty guy cast some unknown spell on me? No way, you're out of your mind!" she exclaimed, shocked that he would even suggest it. It was so bizarre that he would even bring that up in such an ominous way, especially since he was being so obvious about keeping what he was doing secret.

Lilith Tennant - Alchemist Lab

Lilly had such a happy grin on her face she almost did cry. But, she hated crying in pretty much all it's forms, happy or sad, so she refrained. Her eyes just had dirt in them, obviously. That's why they were shimmering. So she blinked them furiously to clense them. After a pleading whimper of him to breath, she let go and placed the man strangely gently on his feet. Not sure what to do, she leaned back and stood straight, resting an armoured guantlet on his shoulder in a comforting manner. "Look how tall you've grown! And what's this? Is this a bi-cep on your arms?" Grasping his left wrist and hoisting it up above his head, the other hand rather unshamefully moving the sleeve of his shirt up his arm from his elbow to his shoulder, exposing the muscles in his arm as she did. I mean, he wasn't Orc size, but he wasn't gangly like his 13year old self, all skin and bones. The poor man. It was only then as she was inspecting him, which would have been weird to walk into, did she finally notice another person on the other side of the counter, with some viles. At this she let go of his arm and took a step back, allowing him to work. "He is my brother." She answered the girl with a smile, like that would explain everything that happened. Because to her, it did.

Sabrina

Sabrina watched as the two siblings, she supposed these two were sibling since they were too 'touchy-feely' with one another, had their fun. She sighed. She would just like to get over with this. She really didn't want to drag out her death any longer. She knew she was good as dead at the moment. She was really fed up with life at the moment and didn't really care if she died but... maybe she was really a little bit angry and sad that she'll die today. "Please, I really don't care who your brother is...I just really want to get this over with, okay?"

@HuorSpinks

Magnus Cain

Magnus normally doesn't have problems getting someones trust but he wasn't really giving much except a lot of talk that seems shady. "If you have to know it is a spell that will allow you to read my mind and let you know everything that you want to know. An if you have to know I would not do this if I was sure there was anything I could tell you to make you trust me." Just like always he could not help himself to get someones approval. This was just the first time for him that his life was at stake.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person

Forrest tried to calm Willow down by scratching her head again, hoping she wouldn't push his large hand away from her as she did with his hug. Looking up at the mysterious man, the bear developed an idea that he hoped wouldn't kill him. "Here, why don't you try it on me? If you really aren't trying to hurt us, then the spell will actually let me see what's going on, right?" Forrest then looked down at the hybrid on his lap, lifting her up by the sides and turning her around to face him. "I'll tell you if it really works, alright? And if it doesn't, at least you'll have the time to crush his head in!" he giggled happily, hoping Willow would take him up on his offer.

Willow the Hydra

While Willow did appreciate the scratching, the offer still unsettled her. When he brought her up (from when they were sitting? Not sure when that happened lol), she looked at him with pure astonishment. "But I don't want you to get hurt.. Who knows what will happen..." she said, though she was unsure of herself. She had no ideas of how she could change his mind, mainly because he was stubborn in his own way. "I just want to keep you safe..." she whispered, looking down and slightly sullen. She would never forgive herself if she allowed him to get hurt when she could have prevented it. But Forrest might not forgive her if she was 'rash' in his eyes to act now. In the end, she simply couldn't decide, and she stood trembling at the thought of a lose-lose situation.

Magnus was not sure what to do really, both were willing to protect the other and he really liked that in them both. "Hey I can use it on you or him it really is a very simple spell really. I just need to know which one of you is willing for me to use it on. Heck I would let you both try if it will make you feel better in anyway." If this continues on he thought he might cry from all the emotion in the air between the two.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person

Forrest looked down at the distressed Willow thoughtfully as she whispered into his chest, silently thinking before whispering back as the man suggested that both of them try it at once. "That's an even better idea. Let's try that, because then if he kills both of us, we won't have to worry about losing each other," the bear said softly, slowly curling a bit of the elf's long hair in a finger. "Or even better than that, he's telling the truth and we can all live together..."

@Quinlan63

Willow the Hydra

Willow looked up at him for a moment, again considering his proposal. She didn't want to die, but she knew she couldn't live with the guilt if he died on her watch. But he was so committed to trying the spell, there was no way to convince him otherwise. Perhaps sharing the same fate wouldn't be so bad. "I'll do whatever you want," she whispered, hugging him tightly. To tell the truth, she didn't want to. At all. But there was no way of changing the bear's mind, and she knew she couldn't just return to her old life just the same should something happen to him. At the same time, she was so afraid of death. She couldn't kill the man, because Forrest would get upset with her. Was there no way to win? All she could do was trust Forrest's judgement and hope for the best.

Well with that said between them Magnus had no need for anyone to give him the queue. "Well if you are both ready all I need you to do is for both of you to give me your hands for me to perform the spell."

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Forrest extended his hand out to the man willingly, giving Willow an ensuring look in hopes she'd do the same. "Trust him. Things are gonna be okay."

She looked warily at Forrest, but his determined look gave her no room to question him. She knew that if she was to prove that she could trust him after everything that had happened, she had to do as he said. She hesitantly held out her hand just the same, slowly bringing it up in almost a dainty manner. There was some thing about the way he said it would be okay that made hr desperately want to believe him. She looked at Magnus with a mixture of hostility, fear, and anxiety in her gaze. Forrest had better be right.

Taking each other hands one and at a time inscribing the symbol for (open mind) on each of there palms. "Alright this spell works very simple with that symbol on your hands you can see into the mind of anyone you touch. Simply put just put your hands on my shoulders and you will be able to read my mind." This was the moment of truth, he would let them read his mind something no one has ever done to him.

Willow the Hydra

Willow's apprehension rose as he inscribed something on her palm, but she knew it was too late to back out now, even if it would prove detrimental to her. She looked at Forrest, then back at Magnus. She was still rather worried, but she figured she had nothing to lose. To be honest, he didn't look all that untrustworthy. But that didn't really mean anything to her. She shakily moved her hand to his shoulder, pressing it gently onto him. She supposed she didn't mind it, but she still preferred Forrest's physique to his. He made her feel much more safe. If Forrest did this with her, she knew it would be okay.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Forrest gave a calm smile as he saw Willow's hand extend toward the man, smiling even further as he saw she kept it there even when he started writing on it. Although that was partly because the sensation tickled his palms and required him to use all his might not to let out a chuckle, he sighed happily when the writing was finished. Gently placing his hand over the man's shoulder, Forrest prepared his mind for what he was about to see... if he was going to see anything at all.

As they placed their hands on his shoulder's he did a quiet prayer that he would not get his head taken off before they see anything. He tried to stay focused on the fact that he had left out for the woods to find something, anything that would help me not be bored. An the moment he heard whatever had happened with the necromancer he saw them with earlier. Then that I had decided to go back to the city since everything was leaving and that he was going to be needed in the city later. An on his way he had found Willow and Forest in there touching scene. An when I saw Willow as a hydra knowing that it was good that I was the only person who saw her because he did not care about that, she still could be caring to a bear man.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Being able to now read the man's mind, Forrest found that he could see the little bout with the necromancer and everything up until now. Removing his hand slowly from the man's shoulder, a smile crept across the bear's face as his arms jolted open and took both Willow and the other man in for one great hug. "Well, I guess you're in now! What's your name, buddy?"

Magnus should of seen that coming, Forest seemed to be that kind of person who does not understand personal space. "The name is Magnus Cain bud and what is both your names?" A wave of re leaf had come over Magnus, but he was still waiting to see what Willow had to say before he can call it a win.

Willow the Hydra

She drew her hand back sharply after the vision, looking at Forrest, then back at Magnus. She didn't know what to think or say, but she didn't have to, as Forrest reacted first. She herself still didn't know what to say. Despite what she saw, she still didn't trust him. It was weird, but she knew nothing about him or that spell. What if it was a sort of dream spell that showed them what he wanted them to see? It could just be one big rouse. But she couldn't deny that Forrest saw it as irrefutable proof. She sighed gratuitously, but couldn't really move otherwise due to his hug. "Whatever. One false move and he's gone, though," she warned, obviously not entirely happy that Forrest was forcing her to accept him. She still didn't trust him.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Relieved that Willow was going to give Magnus a chance before killing him, Forrest squeezed the to tighter before letting them go, a contented smile on his face. "Then it's settled! We'll all live here together!" The bear put his hands behind his head and stretched before yawning and curling over the elf on his lap, closing his eyes, "But I'm tired. All that drama today makes me want to take a nap. Anyone else?"

In truth, Forrest felt absolutely nothing wrong with the man showing up and staying with them, nor did he consider the spell being just a dream of what Magnus wanted him to see. He was too naive for any of that, and what he saw and sensed while not using his head were the only things real to him.

Elise Ironfist

Elise was tired from the fight and the travelling so when she found alisa's room she plopped onto a bed and passed out not hearing the fighting downstairs. She also couldn't care lessential since she found the one person she was looking for but she was going to need more people. @Mitchs98

Willow the Hydra

She took a deep breath as he curled over her, not quite sure how to respond. She would have liked to nap with him if she wasn't so apprehensive about everything that was going on. Plus she didn't know much about the forest. But Forrest was a pro, so if he thought napping was a good option, it very well might be. She shifted her position to get more comfortable, curling up in his lap in a nice sleeping position. "I'll sleep here. As long as you're sure it's safe," she said, closing her eyes as well. All she needed was Forrest's large body to keep her safe and cozy. He was so comfy and soft, like a large plush pillow. But really warm and fun to talk to. If she had a choice, she would never leave the cozy abode that was Forrest.

Seeing Willow and Forest curled up together warmed Magnus' heart, it was such a beautiful sight. But because he wasn't really tired and he could not think of anything better to do he pulled out a small book of spells that he keeps in a small pouch on his belt. He just opened up the book to any page it didn't really matter to him what it was he read, he has read the whole book already. With that knowledge that it dawned on him that he should get a new one down in the city at the local mages guild. That also made him think that there was something important that he was forgetting but he just could not remember what it could be. He put his book away and sat up to really think hard on what it might be. "Was there something that I had to do today," he thought.
