Fantasy Dragons Reborn

While sipping his ale, he was questioned about why his here ,and why would he join. he puts the ale down and looks at Alisa. I came here for a rest stop, while I was out adventuring. I want to join because I'll probably have fun in a group. @Mitchs98

Alisa Elien

Alisa blinked, how boring..yet amusing at the same time. "So, you got beat up..for fun?" She asked him in disbelief, an amused smirk on her face before bursting into laughter completely and slapping him on the back. "I like you. I think you'll fit in juuust fine." She told him. "Anyone that likes fighting is fine in my book. Much better than some weak human that runs at the sight of a mad dwarf." She added, referring to the man she'd knocked out before he arrived.

Forrest the Sleepy Bear Person
By the time Willow and Magnus were settling in, Forrest himself had been fast asleep, and soon enough, he had began softly snoring. Even if the position he was in was uncomfortable for any sort of rest, the warmth from the soft Willow in his lap made him feel as though he was cradling some sort of cub. Or a pillow. Pillows are nice to hug.

But suddenly and rather quickly, the bear went from being curled around the elf to sprawled across the grass, Willow loosely held in one of his arms.

Willow the Hydra

Willow was happily relaxing until Forrest randomly changed positions, throwing her through a loop. After a moment of processing what just happened, she scooted closer to him, nuzzling her body into his for warmth and comfort. She also took his arm with her, making sure she was snug and secure. If she was gonna sleep in the middle of a forest, she was gonna be comfy, damnit! Burying her face into his chest, she slowly fell asleep to the rhythm of his breathing. She had almost forgotten that the other man was there simply because she found herself in her own little world. Though she still considered him a threat, with Forrest it almost didn't seem to matter.

Lilith Tennant - Alchemist Lab

Lilly had such a happy grin on her face she almost did cry. But, she hated crying in pretty much all it's forms, happy or sad, so she refrained. Her eyes just had dirt in them, obviously. That's why they were shimmering. So she blinked them furiously to clense them. After a pleading whimper of him to breath, she let go and placed the man strangely gently on his feet. Not sure what to do, she leaned back and stood straight, resting an armoured guantlet on his shoulder in a comforting manner. "Look how tall you've grown! And what's this? Is this a bi-cep on your arms?" Grasping his left wrist and hoisting it up above his head, the other hand rather unshamefully moving the sleeve of his shirt up his arm from his elbow to his shoulder, exposing the muscles in his arm as she did. I mean, he wasn't Orc size, but he wasn't gangly like his 13year old self, all skin and bones. The poor man. It was only then as she was inspecting him, which would have been weird to walk into, did she finally notice another person on the other side of the counter, with some viles. At this she let go of his arm and took a step back, allowing him to work. "He is my brother." She answered the girl with a smile, like that would explain everything that happened. Because to her, it did.

Sabrina

Sabrina watched as the two siblings, she supposed these two were sibling since they were too 'touchy-feely' with one another, had their fun. She sighed. She would just like to get over with this. She really didn't want to drag out her death any longer. She knew she was good as dead at the moment. She was really fed up with life at the moment and didn't really care if she died but... maybe she was really a little bit angry and sad that she'll die today. "Please, I really don't care who your brother is...I just really want to get this over with, okay?"

Kylios - Alchemist Store

Kylios stumbled once, when he was unexpectedly placed back on his feet, rather gently, to his relief. And before he could react, he felt his arm being lifted over his head, and his sleeve pushed back up to his shoulder as Lilith began commenting on the muscles in his arm. This made him turn red with embarrassment. He was no muscle man; the only reason why he even had muscles was because he had to lift boxes of equipment, with or without liquids within them, the latter being much heavier of course. He supposed that some muscles had developed then, but he was still on the skinny side as opposed to the muscular side.

And even at twenty-two years of age he was still extremely awkward about his body. It was probably the sad product of being bullied for being to skinny, too tall, too frail. Even now he was still a bit skinny, and that was why he never wore anything sleeveless. As much as possible, he preferred to show as little of his body as possible. It was probably more of a protective measure than anything else, but at least it allowed him to feel slightly more confident in himself. He would probably have felt a little better about having his arm exposed like that if he and Lilith were alone, but there was a customer there, one who, it seemed, did not really care much about anything else other than getting what she needed, which made it all the more embarrassing.

The moment his arm was released, he immediately pulled his sleeve back over it, shooting his sister and apologetic look, "Right," he said, scurrying over to the counter"Very sorry to keep you waiting!" . He took note of her purchases. "One large bottle of travelling potion would be 75 coins each, so three would be," he muttered to himself as he pulled his notebook out and began working on his calculations. "225 coins," he said, still to himself, before turning to face his customer. "That will be 225 coins for three bottles of large travelling potion," he said cheerfully. He then took the sack of coins placed there by the customer and began counting out the correct amount.

Sabrina

"Just take the entire bag," Sabrina said. "I wouldn't have a use for it anyway, at the place I'm going..." Sabrina looked down and sighed. She grabbed the three potions of swift travelling and headed of the door, but on the way out, something caught her eyes. She saw a potion of pain relief and took it back to the counter. "I would like to take one of these too, please..." she said, walking over and placing it on the counter. "Do you have any that are ten times stronger than this...?"

Magnus Cain

As Magnus was watching Willow and Forest get comfy taking a nap his mind was focus on one thing, finding out what was so important for him to remember. He had to think back to what had happened that day from that morning up to when convinced Willow to not kill him. For some reason he had a feeling it had something to do with him having to replace his spell book. Although he knew that it was not the important part, it was only part of what he really was forgetting. He did vaguely remember that he was on his way back to the city. He couldn't remember what he might of had to do there that was so important for him to go back but it was a good lead. To not give Willow any reason to not trust him anymore than she already does he decided it would be best to address this when they woke up from their nap. That way she would not think he left to go tell anyone about her.

Lilith Tennant - Alchemist Store

The tall suit of armor with the girl inside lifted an eyebrow as the customer seemed rather...bland. Vacant. Like the world was weighing heavily on her shoulders. Lilith couldn't help but think if the world was too heavy for her, she could put her enchanted sword on her shoulders and give her a real weight to rest there. Lilith wasn't much for clever thinking, and almost everything came back to strength, sword hitting or ale. Speaking of which, she wondered if her brother had some floating around, he had viles of liquids, ale was a liquid right?

Wait......could he brew Ale?!? This thought alone had her eyes light up like it was her birthday, she would have squeeled but squeeling was for girls not for warriors! She completely missed the exchange between the two, Kylios was much more receptive so he may have caught something off about the girl, what she was buying and her mood to go with it. But as usual, Lilith completely ruined the moment and slammed her hands onto the front counter, talking in a loud booming voice even if her brother was right there beside her. "CAN YOU MAKE ALE?!" Like the question was life and death for her. Her strength causing the new Vile of Pain Relief to go tumbling off the side right by him, wondering if his reflexes were fast enough to catch it.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Forrest, Willow in one arm and nothing into the other, fell into the stage of sleepFdeep enough for dreaming, and of course, began to dream. There was a dragon with a bunch of heads like the elf's true form, a razed, lifeless forest, and Forrest himself, stuck at the bottom of a body of water...?

Jolting awake with a grunt and a countless number of gasps, the bear put his free hand over his chest to make sure he was still breathing before looking sadly down at Willow, pulling her closer to him as if she were a teddy bear. Whether he should wake her up and tell her about the dream was undecided, but the force he accidentally hugged her with should have been more than enough to do the waking up part.

Willow's eyes fluttered open as she found herself being used as a comfort item. She couldn't really move since he was holding onto her so tightly, but she could smile. "Well hello there. Whatcha doin?" she asked. She of course had no idea what was going on, and sort of chalked it all up to him doing it in his sleep or something. Either way she wasn't going to complain.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonTaking a few more heavy breaths before wiping his eyes, Forrest unwillingly began to speak about what had woken him up. "I had a bad dream... there was a giant dragon that looked like you in your other form... the forest was burnt down and completely dead... And I was drowning in the lake we caught fish in, and for some reason, it was the only lake that didn't dry up..." The bear looked down onto Willow's head, an idea forming in his own. "Here, why don't you try putting your hand on me? You can see the dream that way so I don't have to cry trying to explain it..."

"Aww poor guy, she said, giving him pity for his experience. Though it was just a dream, so. "But I can't do anything if you're holding me so tight," she pointed out, though she tried anyway. She managed to maneuver her hand to press against him, which allowed her to see what he was thinking. After removing it, she frowned. What a strange dream. "It's okay, that's not gonna happen. I won't let anything like that happen to you," she promised, nuzzling him in reassurance. He seemes too scared to say it was just a dream, so she did the next best thing. Though it did worry her that she might scare him if she shifted.

Kylios - Alchemist Store

"Are you sure," Kylios looked up from the bag of coins he had been counting meticulously. "There's more than double the price in the bag." His brow furrowed as he watched the woman leave, then pause, taking a bottle of pain reliever and requesting for one that was ten times as strong. For a moment, he stared at the woman, concern in his eyes. From the way the woman was talking and acting, especially in that monotone, as well as a request for an extremely strong pain reliever, he could not help concluding that the woman was in some kind of emotional pain. And she was still waiting for an answer. "Well... erm... we don't carry potions that strong on display in the store," he said, quite apologetically. "It's rather dangerous, you see. But... potions that strong are usually requested and made on demand. I can create a potion for relieving pain ten times stronger than the one sold here but... it would take at least six hours to prepare, and would be quite expensive as well. And I'm not sure if they would be effective for emotional pain, just physical pain," he could not help adding. If the woman was hoping that the potion blunted emotional pain, he did not want to get her hopes high, only to have them dashed down.

He jumped then, like a rabbit, when his sister suddenly slammed her hand down on the desk and practically bellowed in his ear an inquiry into whether he made ale. The pain reliever potion was knocked off the desk with the force of the blow and flew up into the air and then towards the floor, in almost slow motion. Instinctively, his hand made a grab for the motion and to his utter amazement, he actually caught it in both his hands. He blinked down at the vial, a stunned expression on his face, disbelieving what was before his very eyes. He then recovered and shot his sister as frosty a look as he dared, practically hugging the precious vial to his chest just in case. That was a whole two hours work! "If you're wanting ale, that would be the tavern you should be after, not an alchemist shop," he managed to point out in a dry tone.

Sabrina

Sabrina shook her head. "No, it's not for emotional pain...look, I really don't want to talk about this, okay? This is quite personal for me..." she said, trailing off in a hurt tone and looking down at the ground. "By the way, I will take anything that's at least five times stronger than this, and I don't really care if this takes six hours to make...I just really need it..."

Kylios - Alchemist Store

Kylios looked down at the vial of potion he was still clutching, rather ashamed of himself for making such assumptions. The reasons why this woman wished to have a bottle of pain reliever that strong was truly none of his business, though he could not help but worry. Yet he still regretted dropping his professional shield to go deeper because one, it was none of his business. Two, going deeper might mean that sooner or later he might end up having to answer questions that went deeper than he was comfortable with. No, his business was his own, and everybody else had their own business, no matter how much they unnerved him.

Which was why he quickly pasted his cheerful smile back on his face in order to answer the woman. "My apologies, I did not mean to pry," he said, his usually cheerful tone sounding rather false and enthusiastic even in his own ears. He immediately turned it down a notch as he continued, "If you don't mind, I'd need some minutes to calculate the cost and time. A potion five times as strong as opposed to ten would certainly be cheaper and less time consuming." With that, he scribbled more calculations onto his notebook before looking up. "The potion ten times as strong would be 750 coins and would take about six hours to prepare this much," he said, indicating the bottle he still clutched. "The potion five times as strong would be 375 coins, and would take about three hours to prepare. If you like, I can start preparing the 5 times strong potion for you, and you can return in three hours to make the payment."

Sabrina

Sabrina nodded. "Okay then...I guess I'll wait..." she said. She walked over to a nearby corner and sat down, head leaning against one side of the wall. She closed her eyes and tried to ignore the creeping thoughts of death that her mind kept on forcing into her. She really didn't want to do what her 'parents' always told her to do, but she had to do them, as much as she didn't want to. If she didn't do it, she knew she would get the beating of her lifetime. They didn't care if they broke her up physically. They'd just patch her back up perfectly and send her off again. Sabrina sighed, shifting her head to the other side. What was so interesting about a shifter anyway? Why did they even want samples of undead dragons? She really didn't know. All she knew was that she was doomed. At least the pain relief potion would help her endure it this time. She fell asleep right then and there, her mind dwelling on the pessimistic thoughts.

Magnus had just decided to tell them about what he had been thinking about when they woke up when he could see Forest waking from his sleep in a looking very frightened. Willow had woken up from Forest jolting awake not fully aware of how scared he seemed. Then Forest had had told Willow that he had a bad dream, but he was having a hard time trying to tell her what it was about. So he told her to use the symbol, that Magnus wrote on her hand, to read his mind so she could she for her self what the dream was. Magnus was not sure from his view what Willow saw but based on how she reacted he decided to wait until the situation had cooled off.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest smiled as Willow comforted him, reassuring the man that she would not let him drown or his home get demolished. Snuggling her gently before standing up with her still in his hold, he looked over at Magnus. "Well, if you need to leave to the city, I'm ready to go with you. As long as we're coming back here, I don't care how far we need to go. We're pretty much a team now, right? I'd hate to have one of us leave just so we'd never see each other again. What'd'you think, Willow?" Forrest turned his head back down to the elf's, hoping she'd agree with him, "Ready to explore other forests with me?"

She looked back up at him, not quite sure how to respond. While she was still wary of Magnus, there was no answer she could give against what he said. To say otherwise might break his heart, and she wasn't about that life. With a soft smile, and replied, "Of course. Whatever you want." She wasn't sure what she would do in town, considering she usually did stuff alone. Going to the bar and seducing men probably wasn't the best option, especially with Forrest around. He might not like that sort of thing. There was also the problem of losing Magnus. f they did, who knows what he might do. This might be a little stressful.

With everyone in agreement Magnus lead the way to the city. "Alright guy's if we keep moving without stopping we should get there before it gets dark." Magnus would like to get there before the guards at the gate start asking people for there reason for visiting the city. Even though he lives there and all the guards know him Willow and Forest were total strangers, and he would rather nothing happen because of Willows secret. It was common knowledge to the people of the city that all the guards have the same symbol that Magnus used on Willow and Forest so they could get and information from anyone they wanted.

Forrest the Traveling Bear PersonWith a happy grin, Forrest threw Willow onto his shoulders before nodding at Magnus. "Okay. We all ready to go? Yeah? Willow was taken by surprise as he threw her on his shoulders, making her a little disoriented. Just as he took off, she managed to get some sort of hold on him so she wouldn't crash into the ground below. Speaking of which, she felt like she was really high off the ground. She supposed she hadn't considered how big this bear actually was. He was just a giant goofball; Willow was glad she had decided to stay with him. But for now, she was trying not to get hit by all the plants they ran past, but a few still got her as they went by. Since he was going so fast, a few whipped her as they went, causing her to grimace with the pain. But she couldn't use her scales to protect herself because she didn't know when they would happen upon the town. So she just kept trying to dodge them and hope for the best.

Magnus was ready to go when Forest picks up Willow and goes in an all out sprint. Giving him no other options he just grabbed his sword off the ground and started running after them as fast as he could. Which by some miracle he was able to keep up to Forest. He wasn't even sure if he should tell him to slow down but it was important for they to get there fast.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest looked up at all of the low branches, and noticing Willow was relentlessly being whacked in the face, the bear dropped her onto his back with an embarrassed smile. "Heh, sorry about that... guess I got a bit carried away," he said, chuckling as he turned his head to Magnus, who had seemed to be struggling with keeping up. "Should I carry you too?" What was up with him being bigger and faster than everyone...? Was he just that good? Maybe he was too good for his own well-being...?

Nope! If he was good, that meant he was more likely to be able to protect his friends! And who doesn't like protecting their friends?
