Forrest the Grateful Bear Person
Forrest was taken aback by the word stupid, but as he was about to shout in protest, Willow had trapped him in a large hug, rendering anything he wanted to say useless. The bear's arms dropped to the ground helplessly as she whispered into his shoulder, and when her words registered, Forrest's arms slowly found their way around the elf as he silently sobbed tears of joy, a wavering smile creeping across his face. He hadn't quite been expecting such a response from someone so determined to go against him and was expecting even less the fact that she was willing to give up whatever life she used to have to stay with him. In the wilderness, with nothing but plant life and animals. And caves, and lakes, and magic, and death...
"I'm so happy you want to stay here, but..." Forrest paused, thinking about whether he should mention her old life or not, "But... What about that meeting in the town...? Are you still gonna leave for things like that...?" Truth be told, he didn't care if she had to run off for little errands every now and then, because as long as she would disappear forever, small bits of loneliness here and there were nothing compared to the whole first bit of his life. As long as he got to socialize with another sentient being who actually cared about what he did, pauses wouldn't phase him.
