Nichole nodded and while her parents were still out grabbed her dream spinner. transforming she said"bala donna dong ding now i am a witchling!" then got her wand. "safe and sound but not too loud take us home but not as skin and bones!" teleporting them away.

the man said"kill you..." then outta no where nichole held a bat and started beating thr living shit outta him. "NO ONE HARMS MY FAMILY!" WHACK WHACK! CRACK! She had broke the bat in half.

Xandi's eyes widened. "Where the hell did you come from? Didn't I say to go?" He said firmly, though it was unconvincing considering the circumstances.

Nichole said"sorry Xandi..."looking down. BANG! Nichole staggered and fell holding her abdomen.

Xandi's eyes widened, and he caught Nichole before she fell.

Nichole gasped and her eyes were glossy. "it hurts..." the man dropped the gun and ran.

the doctors rushed her into the critical care unit. they operated and dislodged the bullet. she was sent to the icu and one said"you may see her now..."

Nichole woke up groggily. "Xandi?"

Xandi was leaning against the door. "Hey, beautiful." He said calmly. "How are you feeling?"
