Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

"I'll be right back. You relax. Drink your tea and take some mint to breath right again." He gave him a light peck on the cheek before shifting into a wolf and bolting into the forest. "Fae!!" he howled as he dashed along.

It was easy to track her scent seeing as it was still very much fresh. She hadn't gotten terribly far either, thank the gods. However, what he happened upon was a horrific scene. That stubborn whelp from before had found her again, only this time the tables had turned. Fae was....biting his neck? What the Hell. He hated the little rat but had to get her off of him none the less. "Sweetie. Let the boy go. It's time to come home."

( haha Marius is so calm, like "stop sweetie, its rude to tear out people's throats."

Also since our vamps are a little more Dracula based, and I'm now remembering how whoever Dracula fed from they became more drawn to the vampire, do we want to make that a thing?)

Mary frowned at her son. "I love you dearly Jamison, but please do not speak in such whiny tones, it is what little girls do when they've lost their doll not what young men do, and definitely not what my son will do." She said and put on her cloak and lead her childern out worried for her son, but secretly almost wished the coven couldn't heal him so she could prove her strength, at the same time she knew that was wrong and it would put her and her family in a world of trouble.

Valac's eyes widened seeing her get up and bend over, the young teen felt his face ignite with a furious blush that would make tomatoes jealous. "N-No, I'm warm...quite warm right now..." Was she doing this to him on purpose?! Did she even realize her bent derrière was facing him?! Holy gods! This was too much for the young boy and embarrassed he turned his back to her and sat in a small chair facing away from the fire. Then swiftly grabbed the nearest firm book and set it in his lap. "Are you sure you are not sick? Fevers bring chills, I could have some of the elders help to heal to?" He offered trying to act as natural as possible as he was facing the wall in the corner of her room.

"Gah!" Was all Ezekiel could get out before her teeth were in him. What the hell was this girl?! He demanded to himself too distracted by the pain to speak. Outraged he could be defeated so easily he howled out into the night pawing and clawing at her trying to get her off him. "Get off me demon!" He howled again this time pushing her away just enough so he could bite her. His large mouth closing around her shoulder and half her chest, the more she drank, the harder he bit.

"Smaller towns are often the better ones, I've figured out." Connor said to her. "And how I got here is simple. Boat. Don't ask me why, I simply came here by boat. Don't question my madness." He got rather defensive about that. Perhaps he realized that he should have taken a road in like any other sane person would.

"No, no. I feel fine really. Just all the rain and cold puts me in a horrible mood."

Thea sighed deeply and then sat on the edge of her bed. She smiled wearily but warmly at her guest. He was acting odd though, sitting in the chair as far away from her as he possibly could be.

"Valac? Have I upset you?"

That left a cold feeling in her gut. She hadn't meant to say anything that would upset him. Especially when he had been kind enough to come visit her. Why had he come to visit her? It was somewhat out of the ordinary but-

Sabella had probably opened her big mouth and told Valac of her schoolgirl crush on the young wolf. Thea's cheeks burned red at the possibility and she too found herself becoming quite warm.

"Why did you come to visit me tonight Valac?"

(( i think that would make a very interesting plot twist! I know in like the mortal instrument series, when a vampire feeds it becomes like an addiction to the person being fed on))

Fae hissed and with an eerie strength she shoved Eziekel away and groaned, standing and then crouching as she held her wounded shoulder.

She may have been different but she wasn't invincible.

"Mutt!"

She snarled viciously then gasped, whimpering again.

"Ben is going to kill me..." He murmured as he rushed in between Fae and the whelp. Tending to her shoulder immediately. "Let's get going sweetheart. Don't want to make anything worse. Last thing we want is to have to deal with his father if he dies...I'd rather avoid confronting or dealing with that pack again as much as possible."

Fredric was speaking to the pack alpha, he was selling a cart full of goods he had enchanted to help with things like strength, intelligence and fertility. He didn't like giving the werewolves more power but he was in need of money, and these crystals were child's play compared to some of the other things he and Lottie could make, but he would never give those to the wolves no matter they offered.

Fae pushed Marius away with a growl and a whine as she gabbed at her shoulder. Tentatively she licked her thumb and pressed it to one wound. They was a sizzling sort of noise and then...

Nothing. The skin was smooth beneath her thumb and she stared dumbfounded.

"Marius?" She gasped and then whimpered again,"Marius did you see that?"

Apollo cocked a coppery eyebrow as he was lead before the alpha of his rival pack. This was the first time they'd met. But what he found even more interesting was the fact that Amber had been right. That welp, Fredric truly was here. He hadn't changed much. At least to Apollo he hadn't. He still was the scum of the earth, he still wasn't worthy of Amber and never would he be.

"Alpha! I see you've turned to dealing with the lowest of the low, witches! Despicable little pests if I do say so myself."

Apollo snorted as they came to a halt before him.

Ezekiel growled crawling away from Fea and turning back into his human form so he could stop his bleeding. "You b!tch..." He hissed his hand pressed to his neck and he could feel distinct punctures. "You know not what a monster she is old man." He said surprised to Marius at how fast she healed. Not even the purest of wolf could heal that fast! He was tired and feeling sick from blood loss. "I will kill you, girl. Maybe not today, but I will end you and your pathetic father." He promised glaring at Marius his eyes glowing with anger but then he finally smelt it. It was another wolf. But this girl was no wolf and her father.... "You are a werewolf?!" He exclaimed almost frustrated at Marius. "How could a wolf bring about such a hellish creature?!" Then still yelling in shock he turned to Fea. "What sort of monster was your mother!?" His world was spinning, prehaps because he was bleeding, but either way none of this made sense.

"What in the...." He stared dumbfounded as her wound healed. Running his fingers gently over where the deep punctures used to be. What was this? She had never shown signs of such powers before. "We should get you home... Benjiman is in a tizzy because I let you go out."

"Shut up whelp!" He turned to snap at the young wolf threatening them again. "Yes I am a werewolf, but my family is none of your business. So scurry on home before you cause anymore trouble." He growled threateningly.

Valac shook his head vigorously when she asked if she upset him. In all honesty she could probably never upset him, but he hesitated when she asked why. Why did he? That was a great question, one he didn't even know the answer to. "I-uh.... I wanted to talk to you..." He said awkwardly turning around the book still on his lab. "We are no longer pups anymore... and it's recently come to my and Sabella's attention that we can leave the pack. So..." He looked up at her a nervousness in his eyes. "Sabella really wants to go, so I was wondering... If Sabella left would you leave with her?" He asked knowing they were best friends but they were both the only people he was very close to in this pack and he was worried he would be left alone, especially when his mother would soon leave him too.

Fae hissed again and spat at the wounded wolf, leaning against Marius as she and him made their way back to the cabin. Her heart hammered in her chest, pulsing and lively. Her entire body was on fire, both with pleasure and pain, her head giddy and confused with the taste of Eziekel's blood on her plump and pink lips.

"Sabella wants to leave?" Theodosia raised her eyebrows and a puzzled frown came across her lips.

"She wanted to be alpha, she-"

Thea groaned and slapped her forehead,"that girl gets the most ridiculous ideas in her head! But... I suppose if she did leave... I might. My father is old, I have no mate here, no mother, no siblings. We're starving and life is not good... I wouldn't really have a reason to stay. That is if- well you'd be coming too wouldn't you?"

"I'm not done with you!" Ezekiel barked but it was clear he was. He was seething mad, hating that old wolf for disrecting his own kind like that, and choosing to help out something that the devil himself wouldn't even want to be near. Damn what the hell was that girl?! His thoughts thundered as he tried to walk away confidently as if he had won this fight. Yet at the same time his thoughts never left that strange girl, and in the end he was left with more questions then answers, so angerily he headed home.

"I don't know.... I'm next to be Alpha, and I don't want to leave my mother here to die alone..." He said his tone becoming more solem. "Things are getting better around here, father brought in plenty of food and if we use it right it will last us years." He said not sure whether to leave or not. Thea's staying or going was definately a factor, but there was still that one unknown thing that made him hesitant to want to leave so soon.

Marius glared back at the young wolf and flipped him the middle finger. That pup may not be done with them but he was more than done with him. If he tried anything Marius was prepared to drag his sorry hide back to his pack.

"He didn't hurt you anywhere else did he sweetie?" Marius asked. Wrapping his arm around her gently as they walked. "Please say it's a no. Otherwise Ben is going to clean my clock." He chuckled.

"Valac it doesn't take a genius to see that being alpha would make you unhappy."

Thea padded across the room and pulled a second armchair close to his. She sat next to him and smiled sympathetically.

"Vivian is stronger than she looks and holds more power over the Alpha than she knows. I can't see her feud with Artemis becoming any deadlier than it already has... She has life to live."

Thea smiled more brightly now and rested a hand on his shoulder.

"The only one to make the right decision is you, Valac."

When Mary and her children reached the coven the door was opened before she could even reach it. "Your husband is upstairs." The old servant said and took her and her children's cloaks. "Grandpa! Grandma!" Elizabeth shot of fin search of her grand parents taking hold of Jamison's sleeve and dragging him with. Mary sighed watching them run off then went upstairs in search of her husband and son. "Jaques? Gaston?" She called searching the rooms.

Malcolm grinned and shot up from his chair, never had his old bones moved so fast as when his grandchildren came to visit.

"Elizabeth!"

Malcolm called as he exited his large study, plumes of brightly coloured magic exploding from the doorway with him. His experiments had been the only thing keeping him busy in his respectable retirement.

Grabbing his two grandchildren around their middles as they rushed down the hall to him he squeezed them both tightly. He loved them dearly although... Something about them never settled quite right with him, something about the way his skin prickled at their touch and nose turned up at their scent was strange enough but his magic always zapped and sparked within him whenever the two were near.

Gaston was combing Jacques dark, inky curls back behind his ears as he slept in a ball on top of the covers of Gaston's old bedroom at the coven house. The boy raised his head only slightly at his mother's call, mumbled, and then fell back into the sheets, exhausted from all the healing and medicines he had been fed for the past few days.

Valac nodded slowly thinking about it. His heart skipping a beat as she touched his shoulder. "If we three go... What will we do?" He said worried looking back at her, now meeting her eyes. "We are still young pups compared to the wolves around us, and even if we were to go traveling around the world like mother said. We have no money, and you would be the only one with any idea about life outside these woods away from the village." He said again falling back from the idea not fond of being thrid wheel to Sabella and Theo's journey around the globe.

Jamison looked at his mom with pout. He always hated it when she scolded him like that. Of course it only made him act like that even more simply to spite her.

When they got to their grandparents house he was taken off guard when his sister dragged him off to greet them. "Ellie! Stop! I'm not your rag doll!" He protested. Until their grandpa wrapped them up in a big hug. "Hi grandpa. It's nice to see you again." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around his shoulders. "Anything neat to show us this time?"

Elizabeth smiled happily hugging her grandfather tightly. "Oh yes! Do you have any new flowers?!" She asked remembering exicitedly an enchanted black and white flower whose nectar tasted like chocolate. "Your beard is a lot longer." She commented as she saw his grey main that reached last his collar bones. "Oo! We could turn your beard blue! That would be fun!" She giggled exicited at the rare occasion it was to visit. She knew she was being childish, but she enjoyed spending time her grandfather so much she didn't want to waste any of it being serious.
