Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Ezekiel stalked through the woods his nose tracking the familiar scent of the mysterious girl from earlier. For a moment he was surprised that she was out and about after just being killed. It was that part of the whole incident that bugged him the most. "You!" He barked as he jumped in front of her path only to freeze as he saw the strange look on her face, and it was then he realized she wasn't human.

Valac nodded wiping his eyes and taking in a sharp breath to steady himself. "Oh, okay." He said not really thinking about it, he doubted their father was serious about it, so he wasn't really listening till he heard the last part and looked up surprised. "R-Really?" He was almost in shock that any girl would even look at him let alone have eyes for him. "Are you sure?" He asked wanting to pretend like this didn't effect him in anyway. So he just tried to play it off and be casual but he was failing desperately.

Ash raised a brow at her. "I would imagine if he's worried about my bad side, it is because he was doing something bad." He muttered with a sigh, then brought his hand up, gently tracing her jawline. "What do you think?" He asked with a gently smile.

Ben shook his head trying to fight back the urge to cough as he leaned against the table. "No I'm fine I just need some tea." He muttered then started coughing. "Sweet Jesus..." He muttered in pain holding his chest.

Fae's eyes flickered across the ferns and moss until finally they landed on him. A feeling of anger boiled in her gut and her eyes narrowed, they were a strange, molten amber sort of colour.

"Me?"

Fae said coyly, acting surprised that he would be speaking to her as if there was someone else in the clearing. She wasn't afraid. Not of him nor the dark that encroached as daylight left. It was a feeling of great power and Fae relished in it.

Sabella snorted at her brother and nodded.

"How daft are you? That's a stupid question, you are very daft. Very blind. Of course she likes you!"

His sister waved him away and shook her head before leaving the room and went off to her own.

Amber giggled as Romulus surprised his father with that landing. "Poor baby~" she laughed patting Apollo's cheek before turning around. "I don't think so little pup!" She playfully growled scooped up her little pup and rasberrying his tummy. He squealed happily and Remus rushed into to the rescue. "I'll save you!" He howled jumping onto both his parents and started wiggling around.

"Boys! Boys!"

Apollo laughed thunderously as he wrestled the two boys under his arms.

"That's enough! Off with you both!"

He patted their heads and sent them off, both of them tripping over to feet and giggling breathlessly. Apollo smiled broadly and wrapped his arm around Amber. Blowing a stray curl out of his eyes.

The happiness didn't last long though as a thick scent filled the air and Apollo growled. He stood and looked to the entrance of their encampment where three wolves had emerged.

"Apollo!" A large charcoal coloured wolf barked briskly as he shifted into a tall dark skinned man, his body laced with scars.

"Arryn. It seems as though you've been lead astray!"

Apollo stalked down from the rocks.

"My one question is what you scum are doing in my territory?!"

"Your territory?" Apollo snarled.

"Are you sure? You look like you're really in bad shape..." He looked at him with great concern. When Ben clutched his chest he immediately tried to help the pain by rubbing it. "You don't have to act all tough guy when you're this sick y'know? Sit down and let me make you a piping hot cup of herbal tea. If you pass out on me it's straight to the nearest healer."

"Mmmm. I think he's just paranoid after you tried skinning him alive several times." she chuckled. "I'm sure your sister is perfectly fine. She is tougher than she looks." She pat his chest gently. Leaning in closer to give him a light peck on the cheeks. "You shouldn't worry too much about them though. Our own pack still needs tending right now."

Ezekiel's nostrils flared at her annoyed. He didn't like this, this girl should be rotting out in the garden where he left her not standing right in from staring at him with...those-those mesmer- he shook his head tearing his eyes away from her's it was terrifying to think of how her amber eyes were drawing him in like a moth to a flame. He shook his head again and started defensively circling her. "What are you?" He demanded not under standing how she was so different. "I killed you, you should be dead!" Her scent was different, it was like no creature he had ever come across before. "Who are you?" He snapped keeping his eyes carefully on her.

Valac sat there for a minute more surprised, for a moment more still not believing Thea the one person to hear Sabella complain about him the most, besides mother, liked him. Then what Sabella said their father said about claiming her as another mate made him frown. Sure he doubted his father would claim her but some other male might. So brushing himself off he stood up a new air of determination in him as he walked out in search of the young she wolf.

(I'm soooooooo sorry! Notifications weren't being sent? :( ((( )

Luna found herself sat where Ezekiel and the other she wolf must've left her. She groaned, rubbing the side of her head with her soft hand, and looked around, pouting as she did so. Why did it feel so cold? Why was it that she felt so damn cold?

Frowning lightly, she got to her feet and stumbled across the ground, rubbing her large green eyes. Small stars filled her gaze momentarily before she yawned, stretching her small frame. Her belly loudly growled, making her sit back onto the ground, her back rustling against the leaves.

All of a sudden, the scent from the boy she had met earlier on filled her nostrils. It was only then that she noticed she wasn't actually where she had met the two wolves, and the boy with witches for sisters.

"Jamison?" She mumbled softly, her head tilting around the woods as she nervously sighed. Was that a house? Her eyes caught what had seemed like a house in the distance, and she cocked her head to the side lightly; how long had it been since she actually had seen a house? But she was beginning to feel light headed...

Theodosia sniffled and wrapped her furs tightly around her shoulders. She was tucked away in her den, sitting in front of a fire that burned lowly in it's hearth. The warmth was much needed as the wind whistled outside and the cool weather persisted.

She would be lying if she said the cold was the reason for her sniffling and blubbering.

The alpha had said some horrible things to Sabella earlier, some of them even threats about taking Theodosia as a mate. She shivered at the thought. The alpha frightened her especially when he spoke so carelessly.

She didn't know how Sabella could stand up to him. Where Sabella was stubborn and bull headed, lean and thin, Theodosia was sweet and passive, petite and her body had many curves. Her hair was a pile of kinky, auburn curls that came a few inches above her shoulder and her eyes were wide and a pretty blue.

Sabella and Thea were very different but perhaps that's what made them such good friends.

Fae inhaled slowly, balling her first. She was greatly annoyed by this mutt. This morning he'd attempted to tear her to pieces, now he'd interrupted her walk.

"What or who I am is none of business you filthy mongrel."

The girl, or whatever she was, hissed between her sharpened teeth and she bore them, attempting frighten him or something.

( @xxbetaspiritxx Jamison is inside his house, but Luna could meet The Departure's and Beowolf's characters while in the woods.)

Amber smiled watching her childern go only to freeze at the scent that haunted her nightmares to this day. Why were they here?! Now of all times! Angrily she jumped up standing defensively in front of her pups. "This is our territory and you know it." She snapped pure hatred in her voice as she glared at them. Something seems off about them they seemed to eminate something. It was familiar, but she couldn't place then suddenly. "Fredric." She muttered as she recognized the scent of his magic. But why? She wondered, he was not there so why his magic? Then she saw it. Stepping closer she could see they all had a crystal on them somewhere. Either a necklace, arm band and even earings. She felt her heart drop. That's why they could do nothing to stop the massacre, those wolves were protected by Fredric's enchanted crystals. Her pack was nothing compared to an already extremely strong pack of enchanted wolves. If Arryn attacked their only hope was fleeing. Knowing this it made her sick and she came down the rocks to warn Apollo gently putting her hand on his shoulder and staring up at the intruding wolves.

Apollo looked behind him to his pups, who huddled together, trembling. Another shewolf had stepped in front of the two pups, her own children clinging to her. Apollo nodded his thanks briskly and then turned his attention back to his mate who delivered him this news. Fredric? How could that be? Was he responsible for this whole mess of pack and territory? If so, Apollo was going to find out wether it killed him or not.

"Arryn, I have a proposition for you. Take me to your alpha, we can sort this out diplomatically before anyone does anything rash. I'll come alone."

He offered, holding his mate to his side.

Apollo nodded lifting his hand up and playing with a piece of her hair. "I tended them already, right now theres someone else who needs tending." He said with a tired yet playful smile and gently leaned down kissing her.

"Tha-" Ben burst into yet another coughing fit taking several minutes before he could speak again. "Thanks.." He said his voice now barely audible. "Where did-*wheeze* Fae-..." His voice broke at Fae's name and he could no longer speak and just looked to Marius pitifully, like a sick dog waiting to be taken from it's misery

Not seeing her outside Valac headed back inside he was begining to dread the fact that they only had a few short months before winter. He wondered around the pack den for a few minutes before catching her scent. It was faded but there, almost nervous he followed it, and realizing it led to her room he wondered why on her he was searching for her. She probably wouldn't like knowing Sabella told him what she did so he should act as normal as possible right? He asked himself only to hear her sniffling. "Theodosia?" He asked peering in clearly worried. "What happened?"

"That's where you're wrong." Ezekiel growled back just as menacingly as she hissed. "As soon as your cold little body came back to life, it became my business. Now, what the hell are you!" He demanded knowing full well no witch or werewolf could do anything like she did.

"Apollo, don't leave us again. Please." Amber pleaded not wanting to show their enemy her fear, but the worry of another massacre was far too clear in her eyes, and it brought a sly grin to Arryn's face. "This could be a trap, please anyone but you, I'll even go. Just please...stay." She said her voice quite yet fearful as she looked back to their pups she couldn't loose another litter.
