Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

(Sure, that sounds like a good idea.)

"I....don't know. She wanted to go out for a while so I let her. She gave me that pouty face and I just couldn't say no." Marius pat his back gently as he set a hot cup of tea down. "She should be back soon enough though, I gave her a time limit." He poured himself a glass and took a seat beside Ben with a stick of charcoal and a piece of paper in case he still wished to talk. It was definitely time to get him some sort of medication. "If she's not back by then I'll go get her."

"Valac?"

Theodosia wiped under her eyes and nose with the back of her small hand and then pulled the furs tighter around her. She was hardly decent to be seeing him in only her night gown, thin as it was.

"Honestly, I'm quite upset about the argument Sabella had with the Alpha today. He said things... Horrible things about Sabella and even a little bit about me... My father is furious but he can't tell anybody that, the pack would be on him in a minute! I-" she babbled so quickly before halting," oh I don't even know why I'm telling you all this!"

The shewolf sighed and snuggled deeper into her blankets.

"For all I know you could go from here straight back to your devilish father and tell him what I've said! You wouldn't though would you?"

((Sounds good! Time skip to Apollo meeting the other pack's alpha as well?))

"Quiet now little dove," Apollo said softly to his mate and tucked his finger under her chin, tipping her lips up to his in a quick kiss.

"All will be well and I shall return victorious."

He would say no more to Amber. He feared a longer good bye would only upset her. It upset him as well. After all, this was the first time ever that he went off into the fray with so much to lose but so much to gain by seeking diplomacy between the two packs. He was a wiser man that he had been in his younger years. He would do all he could to ensure that his pack would thrive with or without him.

He looked behind him as he left the den with Arryn and his small group, back to his mate and two lively pups.

They would thrive with or without him.

Ben frowned trying to say something but the lack of sound from his mouth reminded him and he picked up the writing tools. 'It's night out! Why would you let her?! She could get attacked out there! Or worse!' He wrote his hand shaking the entire time.

"You wish to take a chance and find out? Shall we see how much damage this new form can deal to such worms as you?"

Fae growled right back. He was getting under her skin and she feel her blood boiling, quite literally. So much adrenaline pumped through her, coursed through her veins ready to burst into action at any given moment. She didn't know much about her new body and sense but she knew she was confident in it.

Valac frowned his distaste for his father growing. "I'm sorry, my father's an @ss, but he didn't mean any of it. He was only trying to break Sabella's stubbornness with fear." He said like that would make it better. Worried for her he stepped closer to her only to catch a glance of her night gown before she was deep in her blankets. His cheeks turned beet red, and he glanced away quickly. "N-No... I-I wouldn't tell. Not on you... Never!" He said his heart racing as he tried to focus on something else and not what he just saw. Get it together man! He told himself. You've seen fully nude she wolves before when bathing and you were fine! This should be nothing! But still... He shook his head and took a deep breath. "If you don't mind me asking... What did Ash do?"

"She gave me that irresistible face!" He shrugged, knowing he had made a foolish decision. Always letting his heart get ahead of his mind. "If she's not back within this hour like she's supposed to be I'll go get her, okay? She really seemed to need fresh air, she was acting odd and out of sorts after getting attacked by aaaa.....mad pup in the garden."

"Mooom....do we have to go to grandma and grandpa's? Dad and Jacques will be fine..." Jamison whined. He was so tired and his stomach was killing him. "Ellie and I don't need to be there..."

"Return to me, or else I shall never forgive you." Amber replied while he was still in hearing distance then turned back to the pack. "MaMa where's the scary wolves taking daddy?" Her pups asked in unison and she simply knelt down and hugged them fearing they would have another attack. Tears welled up in her eyes and she could see other mothers worriedly hugging their pups too. "Increase defenses, take the pups inside and secure their safety. If we don't continue, they will." Since the massacre that attitude almost has almost become the packs motto, odd maybe but it was what they all believed."

Ezekiel growled when called a worm but just smiled. "Yes, let's, after all I'm sure killing you again will be just as fun as the first time~" he said hungrily, if this undead brat wanted a fight then it was a fight she would get. "Come at me!"

Ben's eyes opened in shock and terror and if he were so weak he might have smacked Marius up side the head for his wise decision. Dear god! Ben was panicking, his chest heaving as frantic coughs nearly dropped him to the ground as he threw the paper at Marius and headed for the door only to collapse as he was hardly even in enough shape to live let alone have a panic attacked.

"No more arguing, put your coat on and let's go. We need to make sure that Jacques is alright. You saw the shape he was in earlier. Now let's go, come on Beth!" She called to her daughter who has busy slowly walking toward them, reading her way over to them and bumping into the table.

Theodosia's cheeks flared the same rosy colour as she watched his eyes wander. Flustered herself now, she nibbled on her lower lip nervously before answering.

"To Sabella? Well... He said something along the lines of that I had grown nicely and that he wouldn't mind taking me as a new mate. He also told Sabella that he would have a wolf forcefully mate her and you know how Sabella would simply die if that were to happen to her. She would never want that, never ever."

Thea rubbed her arms and then cupped her hands to her mouth, blowing warm air into them and then rubbing them together.

"Ben. Ben stop! You're going to make yourself deathly ill!" He ran after him picked him up. It was much easier now that he had filled out with muscle again. "Fae will be just fine. Calm down and I'll go get her okay? You can scream at me for being a complete idiot when you feel better." He rubbed his chest again, trying desperately to calm his coughing down and stop his panic attack. "I know which way her scent leads, following her will be a piece of cake."

The trek into Arryn's territory had been a long one. Here the hills and valleys sloped to dangerous declines and near straight down drops from time to time. They had crawled down and over these, the dense brush shielding them from the beaming sun. It was cooler here as they came closer to the mountains. They arrived at their destination just as dusk had begun to fall, hours after Apollo had left. Apollo hadn't known what he was expecting but it wasn't this. Fires of every colour blazed in small pits around the encampment and den's were warded with sigils of an ancient tongue. The smells of this place were strange and new and they stung Apollo's nostrils.

The sooner he left the better.

Fae stood for a moment, unsure. She'd never been in a fight before. Never. How could she have been with no other children around? Sure she had had her small family fueds with Ben and Marius but they had never been physical.

The uncertainty made her weak, she reminded herself, she had to be assertive and strong and take the first swing. If anything she knew that.

With inhuman speed the girl, or whatever she was, lunged.

"Awww...." Jamison protested by putting on his coat as slowly as possible. "But he's been fine before after something like this...why would this time be any different? Especially since grandma and grandpa know how to take care of it so well."

"Damn..." Valac's brow furrowed and he bit his lip. It surprised him how brutal his father's threats were becoming he frowned. All fluster from earlier faded and he looked back at Theo and noticed she seemed to be cold. "Do you need more blankets?" He asked wanting to change the topic and concerned for her, surprised she was cold when he felt quite warm in here.

"Bullocks." Ezekiel saw her lung and instantly regretted getting her mad. Not wanting to actually kill her again or be killed he dived beneath her just missing her terrifying fangs, and quickly pivoted to face her. "What are you?!" He barked jumping onto her belly flop style. Not to crush her but to keep her stuck there, under the weight of his wolf form praying that she wouldn't keep fighting him. God she was terrifying, he was used to witches and werewolves but that fact that he didn't know what she was, that got him most.

(GAH! Notifs died, apparently for a loooooong time. -.-

Sorry @Beowulf ;w;)

(Yes, come join us, beta xD )

Zoe looks at the older man with curiosity. "That's interesting. But there are probably better places to teach," she adds. "It's not a very big town." She hoped she sounded certain, as she would naturally if she was a long time inhabitant of it. Not that she had seen any of the large towns, and cities. But she had a vivid imagination. She looks over to the older man once more. "How did you get here? The woods are dangerous." Not that that was the only way to get here.

Ben was hyperventilating through mucus filled lungs as he glared at Marius nodded and pointed outside, as if saying. 'Go get her now.' Then slumped against the table struggling to breathe.

"Oh no, Valac, I'm fine." She smiled gently and now let her eyes wander. Valac was a very handsome young wolf which only made him more appealing to her. He would make a fine mate for whoever he chose.

Thea stood and shrugged off her furs for moment in order to stoke the fire, which was slowly dying.

Her night gown clung to her curves, her shoulders and hips, her chest and her rear. She stopped down in front of the hearth and poked at the embers with another stick.

"Aren't you cold?"

Fae hissed and writhed beneath him, growling and spitting like a rabid animal. How dare he put her in a position such as this? How dare he call her out? She was fuming mad and without warning she wrenched her body so hard that she was able to roll them over and then she lunged again, sinking her fangs into Eziekel's throat.

An explosion of colour and taste erupted in her mind. God it tasted so good and she was starving, starving. She hadn't known it until now, her whole body quaked as she drank her first meal and this new creature.

Luna frowned and continued to helplessly sit on the floor. The scent of wolves was long gone, and she could only smell something completely foreign to her. It was strange and weird, although her ears twitched at the sounds of voices.

She stretched her feet across the broken and torn leaves on the floor as she frowned, rubbing her eyes in a very fatigued manner. Luna couldn't rest until she knew it was somewhat safe to.
