So I'm definitely gonna be joining this roleplay, and rest assured I will NOT be making Deemas again.


As good an idea as it was on paper, the concept was NOT done justice in my hands. He was... overpowered, to say the absolute least. I mean, that character may have single-handedly drawn me away from the concept of creating a gravity-controlling character ever again, regardless of medium or roleplay.

Well, simply due to popular demand, I think Kayne's gonna HAVE to come back, but he won't be my first character. I want to get used to the momentum and flow of the roleplay before I release Kayne from that cage I locked him in. Seriously, it wasn't easy. He scratched me up but good.


Also... we need to return Bobert's Bread. Better yet, make it more than just a hole-in-the-wall bakery on the corner. Maybe due to its popularity as a gifted hub, it's evolved into a huge merchant empire that not only has several locations all across the city, but also the island of Derika as a whole.

There are actually a ton of grays when it comes to the ETG, as you can imagine in an RP where making ETG characters was allowed. That gravity manipulating character Ronin mentions? His name was Deemas, and he slaughtered countless ETG. Hundreds at the minimum. The sheer body count and actions taken go way beyond "beating up the bad guys" all the way to "anti-hero" or not even a hero at all. I once had a young ETG character bent on getting vengeance on him for killing his parents, and more broadly, the rest of Brinkhaven because of how Derika racks up the highest ETG body count of any ETG operation worldwide.


If Deemas returns, so will he. Since he's being retired though, that leaves only a few former ETG characters left for the most part.
