Celina

Celina had quickly abandoned the boy she had met the first day, and had gone solo, leveling hard. She had recently gotten a new sword, but it wasn't nearly as good as she needed yet. They'd have to reach higher floors to get the better weapons. Before she entered the safe zone she had been walking towards, she glanced around her knuckles white from how hard she clenched the hilt of her sword. No PKers, no enemies to slay. Good. Celina was looking to purchase another more improved sword with the stacks of gold she had from her grinding.

It had been a long time. Two months since release to be exact. And they'd only reached the second floor. Whilst she was walking in she noticed a gathering and began walking that way, to listen in on what they were saying. Boss fight? She was in. Teaming up? Made her want to leave. Celina had only gone solo, and had gained a reputation for herself over the short time. She pulled open the menu to look at her level - which was 20, although with a little more grinding, easily 21. Closing it, she glanced around, hoping to find someone of her level. Her piercing ears caught a sound of 'ex-beta tester', and thus, being protective, she strode over to the group of three. "You have something against ex-beta testers?" she said in a cool, harsh tone, giving them a death stare.​

The guy spoke up once again. "I see some of you haven't exactly found groups yet." He walks around assigning the people to a group. (The groups in the overview tab) "Not we are going on the raid tomorrow, get well rested tonight, converse within your groups, become friends, these are your partner or partners." He walked off.

Kate

She turned back to her group. She did peek around at the other groups, apparently she teamed up with two beta testers. Okay. "So what do you guys want to do?" She asks trying to create conversation. She really didn't know, there were no huge guilds at this boss raid, they appearently don't come until the higher floors.

"I'm fine with anything" said Jake, thinking about the thought of being in a group with the girl he first met in SAO and an Ex-Beta Tester when someone else came up to them. Relaxing his own hand from his swords hilt Jake sighed a bit "Of course not" he said, trying to sound slightly offended.

Get to know eachother... correction, so I get to know you two and vice versa." Smiling she unequipped Lazarus and looked into town.

A message is sent to shirou. Shirou quickly reads it. " I guess I am on the attack team instead. Sorry to say cardinal. We won't be teaming up today. If we make it to floor three. I team up with you then. I promise" Shirou states to cardinal. That name sounds familiar to shirou though, but he can't pinpoint it.

Shirou walks over to the attack team and introduces himself to the other members."hi. I guess we are the attack team then"shirou says to them.

"That sounds good" said Jake, glancing over at Kate. The thoughts of that one day that he, in a way, still felt bad for but he could never make it up to her. Surprisingly he had a slight crush on her from when they first met. . .Oh how he wished she'd feel the same way but she'd surely punch him now if he said anything. Just following along with them he wondered in thought about what they'd do for tactics.

She saw him glance at her. She did feel something for him but as far as he knew she was pissed at him, but she really isn't. She just needs to get through the game, don't get attached. Get through the game and don't get attached. She knew she might get attached to him but for now she would play the part of the pissed girl. She owed him but for now she would keep her distance for now. "I could totally go for some food" she suggests thinking that they weren't getting anywhere. She smiled.

Hearing as there were no objections Ueiko grabbed both of them by the hands and started dragging them into town. "Alright! That's the spirit, lets go!" Giggling she began thinking to herself. These two definitely have something between them. I'll find out sooner or later, but for now it's time to brush up on my people skills and have a little fun before we get serious. After all we wouldn't want to let down the raid group...

She sat down with her group and they were talking and she just ate silently but slowly. She kept a small smile on her face. She takes off her cloak storing it in her inventory. She was just wearing simple clothes, nothing fancy.

Seeing her take off her cloak he was still astonished at how attractive she looked. Of course he didn't say anything. Yet. "So any ideas? Other than hitting from the side?" asked Jake, wanting more of a challenge.

"That's a possibility but what if one of us gets injured in the process? If we were to try and be a distraction there'd be a chance one of us would be out numbered or singled out" said Jake, concern in his voice. Was she. . .Smirking? It couldn't confuse him more. He wanted to say something but he didn't.

"Well yeah but there is risk with everything" she says finally sitting up straight. "I assume you guys could defend yourself a and I could do the same." She says not wanting to start a fight. She crosses her arms and she still has a small smirk in her face, he seemed a little surprised by her but she found this kind of fun.

Jake sighed, he could no longer keep it in he had to say it. Shooting a glance to Kate he ignored everyone else and said "I need to say this. . .Kate. . .I'm sorry I couldn't stay. I feel bad about it all the time-" he said, trying to not shout. This had been etching at him for 2 months and he swore when he left he'd make it up to her.

Don't even think about paying me back either, or I'll be sure to beat you half to death!" Giggling she walked away toward the inn she just mentioned.

Don't even think about paying me back either, or I'll be sure to beat you half to death!" Giggling she walked away toward the inn she just mentioned.

"Psst!...Oi!" The dapper ranger whispered to the dark clothed lady, who had appeared behind her in an ambient manner. "Fancy a meal? My treat." he swaggered into plain view. "Name's Darik Kainz." He said removing his hat and bowing. "And you are?"


He was one for pleasantries, not trying to come off as rude. Darik was American after all.


"I overheard that you were in the business of info brokering and was interested in making a deal." he spoke with a grin and a twinkle in his eye. He took a comparatively large sack of coin from his person and held it up. "Well?"

He paused for a moment before speaking, a bit regretful still. "Yeah...Sure" he said, getting up to go find an inn. Hopefully the 2 of them could talk in quiet...He had a lot of forgiving.

"Yeah but it was wrong...I should've stayed" said Jake, wanting her to know that he did care and he wasn't a type of person to run away. Though, in this situation, he was the one running away. A feeling he absolutely hated.

Jake stopped when she put her hands on his shoulders. He didn't realize that she would feel bad as well, and that wasn't sonething he wanted to do. His frown turned into a small smirk when he noticed her soft eyes and her pleading. Take the moment to lighten the mood he said "I stopped didn't I?"
