She met his gaze and then listened to his request and then she looked away. "I can't promise that" she says in a matter of fact tone. She wasn't about to promise this because she knew she would break it. She shrugged off his touch taking a step back she just turns away from him. "Just go, I know you want or need to. Just go." Her voice was harsher then she intended it to be. She pulls up her menu and takes out the sword he helped her pay for. "And thanks for....everything" she says, her tone not as harsh. She puts her black cloak on. 'I guess it's time to go solo' she thinks in her head. She doesn't looked back as she walks away from him, sword in hand. She grips the sword and her face shows a determined look. She walks to the hunting grounds and starts using her sword skills to gain XP.

Jake couldn't hide what he felt about this. He wanted to help her, he really did but he couldn't. After she walked away he walked away lonely.


A while later he ended up fighting by himself in a cave full of higher leveled monsters. He seemed to be overpowered and lost a lot of HP, he was already down to the yellow. I can do it, come on I'm not losing!! He thought to himself while trying to manage his anger. Slashing them one by one, then came more and another, another. It was never ending. "Dammit!!!!!" he knocked them off of him for only a time, giving him a moment to look through his inventory to get the sword that'd randomly appeared there. He tried to remember where he'd gotten it, no time though. The monster creature lashed out at him and in a second it swiveled around before shattering to bits and disappearing. His new Sword was different, it had a black blade that resembled midnight and shadow. Within moments the group of monsters, that at first never ended, had been completely been killed and him with just a couple of points of health. Huffing and puffing his eyes went blurry for some reason and he collapsed.

- Kira grabbed shirou and walked tword a cave she heard fighting and ran in and took out her sword and started slashing like a physcopath she was only level 2 tho.

" stop attacking isn't always enough. Haven't you heard of the sword skills. Know what just watch me." Says shirou as he line up his sword to above his right ear blade pointed up. The blade glows and shirou launches forward attack a wolf killing it in the first move. With automatic assistance from the system pretty easy to use.


" if you learn the pre- motion of each sword skill it pretty easy to defeat low level monsters. You level up quicker"says shirou.

- Kira took out her her sword her " and helped out the person who was in the cave she kept on fighting and she didn't give up her ho was yellow.. " I won't loose to this I won't loose!!"

Shirou thought of just letting Kira die, but that really wasn't like him. So shirou grabs her by they hand." Listen to me let me fight and I will save the guy. Just stay behind me with a return crystal." Says shirou with a little bit of anger in his eyes.

- Kira glared at shirou- " you know nothing on my gaming experience do ya" Kira ran into the cave. She didn't care if she was gonna die she was gonna die saving another life.

" Really forums are immersion breaking" Cardinal said with a sigh another choice she didn't agree with on a design principal as well it added more work so she could run an intranet to keep these people cut off from the real world. It really was just an annoyance that it wasn't limited to things like books and posters, which gave her an idea for latter.
" And i wouldn't mind heading out, i need to get my robe dyed, purplish black isn't much of a color for a cardinal, red is more fitting or gold if it a cardinal direction mapy thing." She said with a sigh concerned about fitting her name more than being effective.

"Alright, meet you in town." Grinning she held up a teleport crystal and disappeared to the town she was previously in. "Alright... now lets get some food, I'm hungry." Walking around she looked at all the shops, finally having time to look at things clearly. "It's been a while since I've been here..."

" Ok" was all cardinal had time to say before Ueiko used her teleport crystal leaving cardinal alone in the dungeon.


" Well that was mean" She said with a sigh, normally leaving someone alone in a dungeon was most likely a death sentence given the normal respawn rate and that they sometimes came in packs, which was a good idea for later dungeons to make them challenging, but Cardinal wasn't a normal person so she could just set the mobs to be passive, or spawn herself a crystal.


Cardinal settled for just giving herself a crystal she needed to get out and not look to suspicious, though she was actually not that high level and being here was a good place to grind mobs instead of just boosting her level when needed. So she put the crystal away for the moment and summoned forth a few extra mobs, she was goign to grind herself a few levels and catch up with her friend.

 

[Veyd Sahvoz]

In a nearby city Jake was having a goblet of wine. His meal was quite nice and the cookies were to die for, but, it lacked something. It was just him, no one else... No matter, who needs people?


He'd already gotten up a few levels, which was good, especially with his new sword and sword skills. That just meant all the more reason to go and get more XP.

Kent let out a loud yawn as he walked down the street. For most of his time in this game he had spent it grinding monster, and doing quests. He whipped open his menu to check his level, "level 19 huh? Man I've come a long way," he mumbled to himself happily. While Kent isn't a full time solo player, recently he has gone a little solo, but he's willing to team up with others. His thoughts were interrupted by a girl who nearly crashed into him while she was running. Luckily he got out of the way, "that was a close one," he mummbled to himself.

- Kira was only level 13 now some time passed for her she found a tree and sat down. " let's just hope no one finds out that I'm a beta tester it would be bad." Kira mumbled to herself. As Kira thought and thought she couldn't think on a empty stomach so she went to the town of beginnings and bought some food. Kira had to cook her food but she didn't mind. @ anyone

"Interesting that girl a bit crazy " says shirou out loud as he walks around town. Shirou thinks to himself about being trapped in the game. He vowed not do suicide quest. He fight and level even join the front lines but to him he would do anything to survive.

- Kira was in the town of beginnings and she was sitting on a bench she was in no party she was a solo player. Kira ate her food and she watched the sky it was a nice day. @ anyone

It has been two months since the game Sword Art Online launched. Some people have dies, not from something in the game, but just not being able to take the pressure. They passed floor 1 easy but with floor 2, they have been unable to track down the boss room. They are finally having a meeting to discuss it, it happens that a group has found it and now they need all the people they can get to defeat the boss. Everyone who can goes to this meeting.


People started gathering in the area where they were meeting. "Everybody," someone calls out from the front, "A group has found the boss room and now we have to go and defeat the boss. Please everyone team up, no one goes solo. If you don't have a team in the next 5 minutes I will put you somewhere random. Once you have your group, I will give you your place for this boss raid." The guys stops and allows for everyone to get into groups.




Kate

She goes to this meeting, hood up she listens to the guy. She didn't want to team up with anybody but she really didn't have a choice it seemed like. She pulls up her stats. Level 19, almost 20. She has been doing everything she can, to level up, to gain xp points, to strengthen her skills. She looks at the weapon she still couldn't use quite yet. She wanted to be able to use it, but she simply wasn't a high enough level. She leans against a wall not really caring what group she got put in, she was hoping she wouldn't see a certain someone today but she had a feeling she would see him. She got a better weapon from the last time she saw him. She simply waited, keeping her hood up.

[The Fluffiest Floof]

Blake, not feeling line seRchibg a team, just stayed at his place. His armor and weapon were still great enough to use on future floors. They were at least somehow worth the loss of all people he had ever called friends... Or at least they made up for it a little.


Just as his armor, his level was good enough to be top tier for now. He had kept leveling and killing monsters nearly all the time, only sleeping and eating the least amount possible.


He waited to get either spoken to or paired randomly.

It had been a few months, Ueiko had released information, gotten better gear, still relying on Lazarus though. "Ugh, if only we could advance floors quicker, I want to get my other two weapons already..." Sighing she looked around at the possible people she'd be paired with. "Lovely, hopefully I get paired with someone who understands how informational this will be for me."

Kira saw a meeting and was wondering on what the meeting was on, as intrested as she was her curiosity got the better of her and she snuck in apbeing un noticed and sat listing keeping her black cloak on which was fairy long on her.

Jake arrived just as the man started speaking, silver chest plate and his newer looking sword strapped on his back. Well looks like he couldn't go solo any more. Oh how he knew this would happen. Looking around he tried to find a partner, his gaze locking on someone who looked familiar in form. He walked over to her, looking to the side a bit to try and get a look at the girls face "Hya, wann be-" he was cut short when he immediately realized who it was "Wha--- A-ka---" he couldn't speak, he was still trying to wrap his head around why she was here.

Shirou has advance slowly after meeting the weird girl. The first boss was tougher than he thought. He receive a number of request from guilds wanting him to join. Shirou decline them all. Shirou heard of the meeting for the second boss deciding to go to the meeting.
