Shade landed on her feet lightly, blinking her eyes at the sound of a new voice, her ocean blue gaze meeting a man she recognized as Green Arrow. She smiled again, this was too cool. She thought, taking her time looking him over with a small smile playing on her pale pink lips.


"Yeah, I guess you could say that." She answered,


"We're all glad you guys are back."

"You're the ones who saved us. I give you my deepest thanks" Wonder Woman said as she stood beside them

Shade raised her hands and waved them in protest,


"No, no. It was nothing, really." She exclaimed with an embarrassed laugh, feeling herself flush. Damnit their amazingness is getting to me. She groaned inwardly.


"So um, why did you bring Chiore and I here?"

"Does any one know where Superman is?" said Peter asking the JL members.

"Well look up in the sky, it's a bird it's a plane it's.." Before Arrow could finish, there he stood "Grateful that you guys saved us, how would you feel about joining The League?" Chione landed on the ground next to shade. She stared with awe at the city of Metropolis. Her icy blue eyes gazed at the scenery. She suddenly could see before her the one and only superman. She hesitated before answering his question, "Joining the J-justice league? I would love to!" She exclaimed.

"Great!" Superman said with a smile. "You all really came through for us, they sure left the wrong one behind with Batman that's for sure"

"You sure you want me as a member? I'm not really member material." said Peter.

"Nonsense, if you want, you're in" Superman said to him with an affirmative nod.

Shade's mouth gaped as she stared at Superman, he couldn't be serious? Join the league?! Was he crazy?! No he was just super.


"YES!" Shade added loudly before she cleared her throat, surprising herself at how loudly she had spoken.


"er-I mean yes, thank you sir, it is an incredible honor."

Superman laughed as she shouted, "This is great" he said with a chuckle. "Now we need a plan"

"Plan? What plan?" said Peter.

Shade rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment, she peered over superman from under her long eyelashes, her blue eyes studying him before she looked over at Chiore and Peter, she was about to ask the same thing.

Mistress Shade bite her lower lip in thought before she nodded her head,


"I don't know a lot, but I do believe Batman mentioned something like that once..." She trailed off, running a delicate hand through her black hair.

"What was up there anyways?" Green Arrow asked

Shade shrugged,


"When I was there I didn't have much time to look around, but the Brainiac is still alive up there, he has this large computer room, which is where I downloaded all his personal files off of to get the information to return you guys from whatever dimension you were in..." She trailed off.

"Brainiac!" Superman said angrily clenching his fist. "No telling what else is up there either"

"Oh and the grundy, thing," Shade shuddered feeling as though she could smell him from here,


"What do you suggest we do about it?"

"We'll go up there tomorrow, see what's going on"

"Who? All of us at once?" Shade asked wincing slightly at the thought of having another battle, she hadn't slept in 48 hours, and most of the time she had been out kicking crime's ass. This was going to be the rest of her time... until she dies. Shade thought with an inward groan.

"We're going to rest first" Superman told her. "You look tired"
