Think of it this way maybe (if I am informed correctly..I may be misreading), Ryan is a sweet guy who wants to make some lovely friends but these friends WILL drive him crazy and sometimes he might wanna punch em in the face. Think of it this way maybe (if I am informed correctly..I may be misreading), Ryan is a sweet guy who wants to make some lovely friends but these friends WILL drive him crazy and sometimes he might wanna punch em in the face. Or not be friends with said person. Or maybe they drive him cuckoo. My main point is 'No one can be happy all the time'.........BUT I also may just be butting in when it's none of my business lol. xD

I completely scrapped his personality and am starting from the ground up, I realized that it just doesn't work as well as it did in my head. I'm thinking more of him always being left behind, treated differently, bullied, or just plain forgotten so much in his life due to his disabilities that he'll try anything to stay relevant to his fellow demigods. Even going as far as putting on a much more happy and poised facade to cover up the angry, panicked, and scared person within himself who is just so afraid to let everyone see his true colors. He'll have like a constant underlying fear of being left behind and cast aside yet again and try everything he can to prove himself of use to everyone, and I mean everyone. Like to the point of him over working himself just so he can meet the expectations he's pretty much made everyone have of him.
