Jayden nodded but didn't see any obtrusions or bleeding. "Well, your sister sure got you good." When Riley didn't respond Jayden sighed. "You'll learn one day Riley, your life is not going to revolve around the game."

"Yes it will. Football will take me somewhere and I won't not take that opportunity." Riley said as he looked at Jayden. "I'll prove to them I'm my own person." He added and laid back down as he turned so his back faced his father.

"You already are your own person Riley, and I never said you wouldn't do go far, you can do whatever you put your mind too, but don't make the same mistake as me, your career isn't everything. Family is always first." Jayden was being truthful and his son needed to hear it.

Riley looked over at his father because he knew what he was talking about. Landen and Bella had told the twins everything and Riley sighed. "I know dad. I know." He said and then looked away. "Is it wrong not to defend your family?" He asked referring to how all the cheerleaders were making remarks about Lily, and so was he but he never told them to stop. He never stopped.

"It depends on what is said but you should know right from wrong." Jayden says simply. "And just because you're better off than most doesn't mean you have the right to think or act like you're better than anyone else. No one person is better than another."

Riley sighed as he nodded and stayed quiet after that. "Okay." He finally said and then yawned as he looked at his father. "I love you." He finally said as he loved at his father. He was right about everything but he had to fit in with the others at school.

Jayden smiled. "I love you too." His says taking his son into a hug. Jayden had hope his son would make a turn around.

Riley smiled at the hug and hugged his father back close and when Alyssa called for dinner, everyone ran down quick because they were all starving.

Now that the day's events were sorted out Jayden was looking forward to enjoying a meal together after a long day. They didn't get many of these these days as the kids had their own busy schedules with their school and sports activities, the family was often in a rush. Sitting down for once was something to look forward too. After the meal was finished the four of them cleaned up the kitchen together. When Jayden saw Lilly sit down and take out her things for English he laughed and shook his head. "Is that teacher of yours giving you work already?"

"Oh always. This paper isn't that easy either." Lily said as she sighed and looked at Riley. "Who are you writing about?" She asked him knowing her older brother had their older brother too. She wanted to know who his hero was and Riley shrugged. "Not sure." He said and Lily sighed.

(I was left unattended with nothing to do so I started reading Levi's death [emoji24])


Jayden smiled at the two and left them to do their work. Heading up the stairs he went to shower. When he finished he went to let the dog outside.

Lily and Riley tried to help each other but she couldn't decided between the two of her parents. She was more then likely going to just do both. In the end, the two decided to go to sleep and Riley was up again bright and early to get ready for yet another day of school. Today would be when they picked which girls made it and she was awfully nervous. She didn't think she'd make it and she didn't want school to be over because of that fear.

Jace laughed at his friend's nervousness as they walked into class. He had no doubts that she made it in the team but teasing her was always amusing. "Calm down before you give yourself a heart attack."

"I think I've past a heart attack." Lily said as she laughed and smiled softly as they sat in their desks but yet again heard one of the cheerleaders talking about her with Riley, who did absolutely nothing like always. Lily just shrugged it off and when class started, began taking notes. She was an A student and she would like to keep it that way honestly.

Jace shook his head at Lilly and began to take note as well. He heard what the cheerleaders were saying but chose to ignore them to not cause a scene. When class was over he walked with Lilly to their best class together but were confused not to find Landen. Where could be be?

When Lily noticed Landen wasn't there, she was confused as to why not. Bella wasn't having the baby yet was she? She would have gotten a text from her mother or father. She decided to get her phone and text him, "Where you at?" she sent Landen as she sat down next to Jace and shrugged. "Bella's not giving birth yet I don't think and I doubt somethings wrong with Ebony so I'm not sure where he is." She said and when she saw the group of girls that liked Landen at her confused. "What?" Lily asked and then they made a face. "How do you know much about Mr. Woods? You probably stalk him." one said and Lily couldn't help but laugh. "I'm his younger sister. Lily Woods. Nice to meet you." Lily said then looked at Jace and shrugged.

The girls looked to her shocked and Jace bursts out laughing, he could see the doubt in their eyes but didn't address it as the sub walked in the room and gave the students their instructions.

Lily loved the fact that they were so shocked about her being Landen's little sister and she was also happy that they had doubt in their eyes now. When they were given their assignment, she looked over at Jace and sighed. "I want to know where he is." she told him with a sigh.

 

[Lexus]

"I'm sure he's okay" Jace says reassuring before he turned to his work Mr Woods left them to do. Jace didn't think much of it, something probably came up.

Ryan sighed as she looked at Jace and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure." she told him then continued on the assignment given to her and when she finished, she turned it in and just sat there wondering where the hell her brother was.

Landen was with Bell. He had come to drop something off before work but didn't want to leave his sister when he found her so upset. "What's the matter?" He asked his sister setting down the things Ebony asked to bring to her.

Bella sighed as she looked at her brother then placed her hands on her stomach. "Chris just doesn't think he'll be here when i deliver." She told him as she sighed again and tried not to cry.

 

[Lexus]

Landen looked at his older sister a bit confused. "What do you mean?" He asks Landen never really liked Chris. He wasn't sure how he got their father's approval. Landen didn't understand, if it was Ebony he wouldn't let anything stand in his way of being their for his wife when she was so close. When he saw Bella start to cry he grew angry and took her into a hug.

Bella continued to cry with her brother hugging her and she tried so hard to calm down. "It's okay though. He said he was going to try but no guarantee." she whispered and continued to cry.

 

[Lexus]

"No Bella, it's not." Her brother says with a sigh not letting go of her. Arabella never really asked for much and it was really pathetic her husband left her with no promise of return while they were waiting for their daughter to arrive any day now. "Did you tell dad?" Landen asked releasing her from his arms.
