Landen smiled and winked at her teasingly before he walked off to his desk to do his introduction for the class. "Alright, now that ghat boring speech is over, it's time to get to know you young children." He says clasping his hands together as they laughed. Landen had a way with his students they all loved his humor. "So, who wants to tell their new favorite teacher something about themselves?"

Lily admired how her brother had a way with his students. She had wanted to be a teach but she couldn't do it like Landen. Since no one wanted to go, Lily raised her hand then laughed at Landen looked at her as if to say he already knew everything. "I have 3 siblings. They're all older then me and my dads a doctor and my mom a lawyer." She said and then laughed again. Why not play off the fact that no one knew Landen and Lily we're siblings. Only Jace knew. Another girl talked about how both her parents were doctors and finally more began to talk about themselves which was good.

Landen looked to Lilly with interest on his face but tried not to laugh. "Your family sounds nice." He says with a smile turning to listen to the other kids. Once everyone took their turn he gave them their first assignment. This was English after all. "I know, I know. Your new favorite teacher gave you an awesome first impression and now e's a jerk for giving you homework on the first day of school. Hear me out, I'm giving you a week to write a one page paper on who your hero is, there are many great ones in Literature but I want you to pick someone close to you. It could be anyone. It could be your cat for all I care but I would hate to be that person, if your cat if your hero you may need to reevaluate your life." As the kids laughed he continued on. "I want you to write why this person, or cat is your hero and the impact they have made on your life, and lastly why are Heroes and heroines like them so important?" There was a purpose to this assignment but he wasn't revealing it yet.

Everyone then began to think about their assignment they were just given for homework. Lily stared at her spiral and thought about it for awhile. Who their hero was. That was a hard decision between mom and dad. They were both her heros. Both of them for many reasons. Her mom was a fight and Lily has never met someone who's mom was like hers but then again her father was her hero too. He gave up everything to start a life with her mother and not many men would do that now and days. He saved mom several times and he saves lives everyday. This was a really tough decision and everyone knew Lily was in deep thought because it showed on her face. She wrote down when it was due however and then wrote mom? dad? It was going to be a tough decision.

Landen moved on with his intro lesson and when the bell rang he dismissed them. As he watched Jace and Lilly walked off. He stopped them. "So, whose your favorite sibling?"

Lily laughed softly and shrugged. "I don't know Bella's a pretty great sister." She teased her older brother but hugged him quickly. "You of course." She finally said then yawned. "Well off to third period. Let me know if you hear from Bella or Chris." She told him as she walked off.

Landen smiled at her hug and nodded Lr was cute how excited Lilly was for her niece to get here. Of course everyone was but Lilly seemed especially ecstatic Landen eventually wanted his own kids but his wife, Ebony was too preoccupied with work right now and he understood. For right now there was no rush, they were a newly married couple and still young, there was time.

Finally, when lunch came around, Lily went to lunch with Jace and they say at a table as she saw Riley go over with the popular kids as always and already saw a cheerleader up against him. It bothered her but she didn't say anything. "So what's next period? I think I have dance." She told Jace as she tried to ignore the cheerleaders all over her brother but she heard her name being grown around and she hated it. Why were they talking about her.b

"Art." He answers before looking over to her brother. "I think that concussion made everything go to his head." He says with a laugh trying to get her to lighten up. "What do you think your dad is going to do?"

"I'm not sure but I'm excited to find out. " Lily said as she laughed and when she heard her name again, she was beyond annoyed. She stood up and walked over to Riley who looked at her then looked at everyone else around him. "Keep my name out of your mouth." She told him then walked away again as she heard all the girls laugh. "I'm going to the dance room early. Want to go see my routine?" she asked Jace as she grabbed all her bags and her tray to throw away her food.


One cheerleader looked at Riley and laughed as she saw Lily carrying a dance bag. "She dances? Your sister really dances? I bet you she sucks." she said and everyone else around laugh. "She isn't taking my spot in dance class." she added.

Jace nodded and followed after Lilly, he stayed behind to hear if Riley would defend his sister but when he didn't it just made Jace angry. He hoped he had something good coming for him when their dad found out about the incident today.

Lily knew her brother well enough to know he wouldn't defend her. When they got to the room, Lily put her cd in the radio and put her shoes on before the music started. Her dance piece was a jazz piece and when she finished, she felt pain rush through her left leg but she didn't say anything about it. "What'd ya think?" she asked Jace with a smile.

Jace applauded her and smiled. "I told you you had nothing to worry about." He says with a smile. It must have been s family trait, while they all had their separate interests the Woods all had a dedicated passion for what they did and despite their difficulties the kids ended up being raised perfectly well, well, they all would be once Jay taught Riley a lesson.

"Thanks Jace." Lily said as she smiled and limped over to sit in a chair. "Gosh my leg hurts." She said as she moved it around. She didn't know what was wrong but she needed the pain to go away soon. She had to make it to tryouts.

Jace watched her but didn't become concerned. She was a dancer it wasn't out of the ordinary to get pains every now and again. "You'll be alright, I have to go." He says running off to his last class of the day.

Lily nodded and went to her last class as well and when school was over, she went to try outs. She was determined to make this team. When it was all over though, she went up to Landens room in her jazz pants and shrt and sat by his desk. "Give me a ride home?" She asked him with a smile. "I'm so scared I didn't make the team." She added with a sigh.

Landen looked up at his sister and nodded as he gathered the last of his things and put the bag over his shoulder. "I'm sure you did great." He reassured her with a soft smile. "Where's Riley? I can't return one and not the other."

"I don't know. Probably with all the cheerleaders." Lily said as she laughed but then sighed. "I don't keep tabs on him. I'll meet you in the car." She added because her leg was still hurting. She got his keys and walked out to Landens car when she saw Riley with the cheerleaders just like she said. "Riley hurry up. Landens taking us home." She yelled and then got in the car.

Riley sighed but did as he was told only because he didn't want to get left behind. The whole ride home he didn't speak a word , not even when Landen said he was going to have to tell their father what had happened today at school. In Riley's mind he was the victim, Lilly gave him s blow that left a large bruise on his stomach. He was confident he would get away with being the one in less trouble this time. Luckily for him when they arrived home dad wasn't home yet, that wasn't surprising but mom was. Though he didn't worry much mom was never one for being the bad cop.

When Lily and Riley returned home and Alyssa was told everything by Landen. She sighed as she nodded and then pulled the twins to te back room. "Explain." She demanded. She was beyond angry right now with both of them and they were lucky Jayden wasn't home yet. "Riley was being a jerk." Lily said as she looked at him then looked at her mom. "He doesn't have to be so disrespectful about you and dad." She added and Alyssa was puzzled. "What do you? What did you say about your father and I Riley?" She asked preparing for the heart break she would probably have.

Riley didn't want to answer his mom's question because he knew she would turn into an emotional mess and he didn't want to deal with that. "Nothing important, Lilly just takes things too seriously." He says glaring at her.

"Really because saying dad is stupid for the decisions he made and saying that him being there for mom was stupid is not taking things to seriously!" Lily exclaimed as she looked at her brother then pushed him again. "Lily!" Alyssa exclaimed. "No mom! I'm tired of it. Riley's nothing to me! He's just an inconsiderate little boy who doesn't know when to stop. He's not my brother anymore he's dead to me!" Lily exclaimed then ran up to her room and Alyssa sighed as she looked at Riley. "You just wait till your father gets home. Go to your room."

Riley groaned and walked off to his room. Soon after Jayden came through the door and set this things down. "What's the matter?" He asks Aly when he saw her upset about something.

Alyssa sighed as she looked at her husband. "Lily had ISS today. Her and Riley got into an argument and she pushed him against the wall then punched her. Her reason is because Riley was making remarks about you and I." Alyssa explained and shook her head.

Jayden blinked at his wife confused. He was shocked. "Lilly did what?" He asked in concern. Riley's behavior wasn't much of a surprise, he was a teenage boy, but Lilly's behavior came as a shock. "Why would she do that?"
