Fantasy Daemon Days OOC

Official Circuits generally start in the spring and go until the start of Fall. That's when you'll see sponsored teams fighting to get the world Title. Fall and Winter is off season, but fights still happen often. This is usually the time when people looking to make a name for themselves start popping up. So a team can become a crowd favorite during off season and if they get popular enough they might land themsleves a sponsorship for the actual circuit.
 
I won't instate the post rule for fights, since you're right. It's a joint effort and you don't want to overstep. But at least try to make them creative and detailed.
 
It's still possible to post many paragraphs conveying only seconds. Thoughts, physical reactions and feelings can go in along with describing your surrounding, on top of you and your opponents moves.


I'm no expert, but I can show you a bit during our fight. But now watch, that I've said that, I'm going to blunder XD
 
Alright then, I'll do my best and see how it turns out, hopefully it won't be too bad.
 
I see @Ramjammer Then in that case, I'll have Seitsu have just started his career in the off season. How do sponsorship works? Are there specific companies that sponsor teams? Or anyone? Or are sponsors just to provide the money for them to compete? Because I plan on Seitsu already having plenty of money.
 
@Daniel reaving Okay. I understand what you're getting at. But I'm going to need you to flesh out your character a little more before I can accept her. Does she have any ambitions? A Job? Where does she live? You can leavee out the powers/skills and weapons since she hass none. But I need more than a couple of sentences in her bio.

Well, I haven't ocmpletely read the entire OOC because it's really late and I'm going to bed now, but I vote for a mainly story driven RP here, loose rules and outcomes that are agreed to be more interesting. If people go OP or something then we purge and retcon it to something that works. You've got DA POWAH here, so you could do shit like that.

Sponsorships come from various businesses. And while they're not REQUIRED. They really help since Sponosrs will cover fees and the cost of traveling. Room and board etc. Bigger companies tend to have their own training facilities and the most money to spend so people try to get noticed by them. But a small local business will sponser fighters as well. Generally sponsors will have fighters wear uniforms as well.


Now watch Lorette show up and start looming over people to get them to sign sponsorship contracts lol.
 
@Prizzy Kriyze I like your character! It'll be fun to have someone sneaking around Apex and doing god knows what.


And yeah the front page is an Info dump, but I do highly encourage people to read it so that they know what's going on.
 
I see. Well, I was planning on having Seitsu have dealings with bookkeeps. That's one reason why he frequents The Flying Tortoise, his bookkeep is there. I planned on him making his money from bets on fights. But if you want to have someone try to pressure Seitsu into getting sponsored, he could go for that too. He is a fairly impressive fighter, with a good win rate.


Though, as a monk from a secluded temple, he doesn't need fancy gyms and training facilities XD
 
Hey, just had a wild idea. While my character generally wouldn't be too concerned with fighting, I can totally see his "law firm/settlement firm" of "Dowey, Burnem, and Howe" possibly sponsoring a fighter. I kinda imagine Vulcan's business to be a way to extort a mass amount of money from rich people who need his help, and since he is a daemon, he doesn't really need it for any other reason than to have it.


So, maybe, if one of the fighters here is interested and Ram allows it, ya'll could get a sponsor.
 
You can do the sponsorships however you'd like! Don't feel pressured to get one. It's just an option that you can take if it interests you.

Seitsu feels he's on a spiritual mission to stop a poweful foe. I don't think he's to concerned with finding a sponsor, so one would have to approach him for him to even consider it.

i hope i can keep up with everyne i can usually only get on once or twice a day... i hope i'm not slowing everyone down


@Romulus Scipio  Claire is a sponsored fighter but i'm sure you can add to that sponsorship  :3

Maybe I lost track and got confused. Am I just being mentioned, @ValkyrieRose because I'm also in the bar? As there are a couple others in The Flying Tortoise as well. For I don't see any interaction with Seitsu :O
 
unless i was misreading yo and another were talking about a fight that was going to occur and Claire overheard and bought you a drink... cuz she's clair... or did i misunderstand and you weren't there?
 
I was talking about a fight, though not specifically. It was just a brief mention before asking about the individual, Leon. And I was talking to Mega, not Zalt XD Leon doesn't have a dark aura thingie about him lol, so I was confused. Zalt is in the same place, and so are two Kaiju. So I just thought it was odd that you responded to, what appeared to be, Seitsu and Ace?
 
i did respond to him i just kind of had her overhear and assumed you were fighting soon. if nothing else you can choose to ignore it


Claire's the sort of perso to really drink/suport people who are going to do stuff like that
 
Lol, she's a goofy one. I'll wait for Mega to respond though, so everyone has a chance to interact.
