Fantasy Cursed Island

"Of course," Jerry nodded, "He's still on the cooldown, though, so he won't be able to hit human form for another hour or so," she looked down at her timepiece to make sure she had that right, and she did.

"Of course," Jerry nodded and looked at Asta when he got close enough, "Erina's going to make some clothes for your human form, later, okay?"

Asta nodded. "Alright. I will do my best to adjust to it."

Erina looked at him. "I'll try not to make it too restricting, so don't worry."

Jerry smiled, "Although a snug fit wouldn't be too bad...." She shook her head and the thought away, "Either way, it'll be better than just a blanket, I promise."

Asta nodded and Erina turned to head back to her loom.

Raine had just discovered the joys of a proper skirt and was currently spinning around to see it move.

"Of course." Asta followed after her glancing over at the sound of a squeak when Raine fell over.

Some looked over when Raine fell over, more than likely she'd just tripped on her skirt or tail, Jerry did the latter sometimes. Inside Jerry's tent, she sat down on the edge of the bed, "Asta, I don't know if I asked you this earlier, but do you know how to fight in your human form?" The collar had a cooldown and feeders don't care about status effects, so if she could make sure Asta could defend himself in his human form, that would make things easier.

Raine would recover from her dizziness before long.

Asta paused at Jerry’s question. “Ah... No, I don’t. I hadn’t considered it. But I do rely on my horns and claws to fight.” He looked at his hand.

"Well," Jerry pulled out her sword handle, "Tonight, after Erina measures you, how about I give you a crash course on how to use this?" She hadn't taught anyone else how to use it so far.

Asta gave a nod. "That sounds good." He almost asked what she would fight with if he had her sword, but he knew she likely had a hundred other blades to use.

"I've got my bow and my daggers, so I'll be fine," Jerry nodded as she put the hilt away. "And I've also been thinking," she glanced out the door at the bathing pools, "We never actually went and did anything just the two of us, did we?"

"Hmm." Jerry smiled, "We're going to have to resolve that."

Outside, near Erina's cluttered workstation the hydra eggs that Jerry had entrusted to her were starting to shake and roll around. "Erina?", Lyak looked a bit scared as she hid behind Erina's legs again.

Asta nodded. "Yes, we will."

Erina glanced down at Lyak. "Yes, dear?" She saw her looking at something and looked over that way as well, spotting the wobbling eggs. "Oh!" She quickly and moved over to look at them. "It seems it's time."

Jerry smiled and stood, "Tomorrow evening sound good?"

"Time for what?", Lyak scrabbled to keep up and have Erina's legs be between her and the hydra eggs. Cracks appeared in the surface of the eggs, crunching as the snakeling within fought to come out of the shell.

Asta nodded again. "Yes. I don't have any plans for then."

Erina smiled as she watched. "The eggs are hatching."

Jerry nodded and ducked out of the tent, "Enjoy yourself until then."

"Hatching?", Lyak poked her head out at the same time as one of the snake heads finally broke through, a piece of the shell on its head as it looked around at the world.

Atsa glanced around before heading out as well. Better chances of finding something do out of the tent.

Erina nodded. "Yes. This is how they're born."

"Hmm," Lyak came out from behind Erina's legs as more heads sprouted out of the egg shell. They were kind of funny looking when they were tiny, actually.

The little hydra heads nipped at the finger, but their heads were too small and their fangs not hard enough yet to be able to pierce an Arachne's skin, or the armor enchantment. "I guess it's kinda cute," Lyak commented as the largest of the baby hydras slithered around Erina's hand, flicking out all five tongues to taste the air around her and figure out what she was. The other two seemed a bit slower, still struggling to free themselves from their shells.

Erina nodded before she paused. "Oh, dear... I'll need to feed them, but I'm not sure what." She glanced around to see if Adran or Nyah was nearby.

"Snakes eat smaller creatures," Lyak offered. Adran was still working near Niudisa's table, and Nyah was entertaining Shuffle and Fia with a game of hide and seek.
